Service was fast, food was fresh and delicious. The inside was clean and lot of space and comfortable. The noodle was excellent and the fried chicken was crispy and yummy

Okay food. Okay service. After numerous times of trying this place out, I don't think I'll ever return. There aren't many restaurants in Philadelphia that offers Jjajangmyun so this is just one of those place you go for your cravings. When we got there, there were a lot of people waiting in the lobby area with no hostess around for us to check in. After waiting for few minutes, I checked in with the hostess/server and waited for our table. As we were waiting to be sat, I realized how unorganized this place was. There are people constantly repeating their place in the line because the workers did not give us assurance that she knew who was the next person to be sat and kept saying the number of people in the party incorrectly. When we finally get sat, I immediately noticed the red splash marks on the table cloth...it was so dirty I couldn't believe it. I mean what's the point of you having table cloth if you're not gonna change it ? The chair felt greasy as I was putting it out. Then when we finally got our high chair....oh my...that thing seemed like it hasn't been cleaned in ages. We wiped it down with a wipe and the wipes turned yellow and black!!!! How unsanitary! The food came out pretty quick so that was a plus. The taste was okay, nothing special. But when we asked for larger plate for jjajangbop they said the dishwasher went home so they didn't have a plate to give us. I guess that explains piles and piles of dishes in the bins. Will not return!

This place is so understaffed right now.. so the service is terrible. The place was packed on a Sunday afternoon and there were only two workers for everyone. It took forever to place our orders, they wouldn't dare to look at us if we needed something (spoons, napkins, etc), and when we were ready to leave, we had to ask for a to-go container three times, twice with the same guy and once with the girl, to finally get our container. Even after we asked each time, we did not get our service right away and kept having to wait. They kept serving to other tables and avoiding our eye contact when we really wanted to just get our containers to take over the left over food and leave. On the other hand, this dish is the most expensive dish in the menu and the portion is huge (put my hand in for reference). It is very delicious. The pork tangsooyook is too seasoned and tasted like fried chicken. It was too flavorful and seasoned both when eaten with and without the sauce on the side. Ambiance wise, it is just okay. Good for a medium sized group to eat altogether but I'd avoid it during prime time for now unless you have a lot of time to kill with great patience.

I've been coming to this plaza for years and the parking can be hectic at dinnertime due to there being 2 restaurants, a boba shop and a large Korean grocery store right next to each other. This restaurant specializes in fusion korean-chinese cuisines. Upon entering the restaurant, we were promptly greeted and seated immediately. The interior design of this restaurant adopts dark woods with premium booth seating in the middle and more secluded family style dining rooms with chinese-style wooden windows located further back for larger parties. The lighting is dim and focused on the tables with scattered fairy lighting along the protruding divider walls creating a very intimate ambiance perfect for date nights. The menu is english/korean friendly and offers a variety of dishes but what we come for specifically is a popular combination ordered by many. Once seated, tea is served instead of water but water can be requested if preferred. The appetizer by default will be a dish containing cuts of raw white onion and pickled radish with a dipping sauce of black bean paste. The best way to indulge is by pouring a minute amount of vinegar and a pinch of red pepper flakes on top based on your preference. Tangsuyook is a batter-fried protein (usually pork) which comes with a sweet and sour sauce containing carrots, pineapple, onions, peppers and wood ear mushrooms. The tangsuyook also comes with a refreshing side of sliced cabbage slaw salad topped with a light mayonnaise-based dressing. This dish however arrived to our table lukewarm and was a bit of a disappointment this time around. The jamchamyon is two different dishes separated in the same bowl for indecisive diners. The left side contains jajangmyon which is a blackbean sauce noodle dish containing sautéed beef, peas, onions and potatoes. It was a little too starchy this time around for my taste as I like a more drier solid consistency but to each their own. The right side contains jamppong which is a spicy seafood noodle soup containing squid/octopus, cabbage, shrimp, wood ear mushrooms, jalapeño and sometimes fish. It was a bit on the saltier side this time around and was missing fish but the savory broth was consistent to what I remember this dish by. This is a go-to spot for this combination of items and I really recommend you try it out for yourself as it is loved by many in South Korea.

The food here isnt the same as it once was but its still delicious. The jjampong has a fresh seafood broth and the meat dishes were so tender. The best korean style chinese food in PA.

The food and the service was good. Ordered jajang and jjampbong. Combo, the sweet and sour pork, fried dumplings. They were all ok. The sweet and sour was good. Probably the most disappointing thing was the Yu San sul bop. They didn't bring out the chili pepper sauce so when I asked about it, they had no clue what I was talking about.

A tiny tiny piece of shrimp hiding inside a giant lump of starch. This is what I found in every single piece of chill shrimp entree.

I ordered a chilli shrip which cost me $29 dollars for one entree. When I had a bite of it, I realized that most of it is just starch!! I am showing the picture of one piece of Chilli shrimp which barely has any shrimp in it. Seriously if you are charing $30 for this thing, be honest and add more shrimp. I had to try so hard to find a trace of shrimp meat inside a giant clump of starch! This is such a downgrade from what I ate 1 years ago and the price went up for what reason? Definitely not going back.

noodles are average, broth and sauce are good

Unlike Momoyama, Noodle House uses Romain lettuce, instead of iceberg. You really need iceberg lettuce to give the soft pork/soft bao a nice contrast by adding some crunch. Also, they were on the cold side. Much better warm. Next, the ramen was delicious, with many selections. I especially liked the make your own menu, but be forewarned, the price can add up quickly, as everything on the menu is an extra charge to the $8.00 soup base. The ramen was hot, but could have been hotter. I only ate half my bowl, before it became cold. The fried rice is nothing special and pretty expensive for what it is. The spring rolls are delicious, but very, very small. Also, the liquid sauce they serve with it is more of a dumpling sauce. I would have prefered a thicker sauce. They do have a large menu of beverages, which is nice. However, $6 for two cups of hot tea is a bit much, especially with no refills. The prices are very high, compared to similar restaurants. Over $70 for lunch [for two] is pretty expensive. Whatever your bill is at other restaurants, add 40%. The ambiance of the restaurant is very juvenile- I felt like I was in a childs restaurant. Cartoons playing on a muted large screen TV, while loud rap music blared from the speakers. Anime plastered all over the walls, even a large statue of a some type of anime samurai figure greeting you as soon as you walk in. They even have a talking robot to deliver your food. If I had children with me, I'm sure they would have loved it. Definitely not a place for a quiet or romantic meal. All in all, good food, childish ambiance, high prices.

The desserts were also, like the appetizers just very pre made chain type of food. They were good desserts sure, just underwhelming and boring. I gotta say tho their whipped cream is strangely different and delicious! As for the service that was not good. There was a long wait of people but we had a reservation and got sat within 3 minutes. hostesses definitely were confused and could have used some help. The atmosphere is lovely and it's such a beautifully designed restaurant. It took around 15 minutes before we even got greeted by our server and he just kept going round to other tables after taking our order instead of immediately putting it into the computer. After her greeted us we ordered drinks and he came back without drinks asking for our appetizer order so we put that in and it came out 5 minutes later... we still had no drinks on our table and appetizers came out first... not great. food runners just brought everything out and no one ever really checked to ask if everything was good. took a long time to get appetizer olates removed and even longer to longer to get our servers attention to order rolls. eventually we ordered and it took 25+ minutes for food to come out. The rolls were good yes but we were over it by then. A century later after hunting someone down we were able to order dessert and again took a while to come out and took even longer to get the check. the server was nice but there was only like 2 servers on a Saturday night so i think if they had more servers the whole meal would have been great.

What came to the table were deep fried calamari rings, no different than you'd get at Denny's. I then ordered the Pan Seared Wild Alaskan Halibut - $43 and what arrived at the table was pathetic. I've had Halibut many times and it is moist and separates in large moist flakes. What was on my plate turned into mush when I tried to use my fork.
