PANEER BUTTER MASALA and GARLIC NAAN
    Marta M.

I took myself out for dinner yesterday after visiting a loved one at the hospital nearby because I had been craving Indian cuisine. This hit the spot! The restaurant was very clean and the lighting and interior decor was warm and inviting. I was promptly greeted at the door and sat right away. I ordered the garlic butter naan, tandoori shrimp appetizer. Both were delicious! The shrimp were cooked well and came out sizzling on a bed of shredded cabbage which caramelized on the platter nicely. Paired with the chutney and lime, all the flavors came together perfectly. Before I knew it, I had eaten the whole dish haha - I probably could have just had 2 orders of that and been just fine to be honest!! For my entree I got the paneer butter masala that comes with jasmine rice. The flavor was great and at my request it was mild but definitely still had a good spice level to it. I used the naan to eat the paneer and rice and the chunks of garlic kicked it up a notch for sure. The sauce the cubes of cheese were drenched in was rich and creamy, just what I had hoped for. The server was very friendly and checked on me often. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes in the future.

Let me just say, this combo is everything. Service was excellent and got there before dinner rush so it was nice and quiet. The butter chicken was absolute perfection--tender chicken in a creamy, flavorful tomato-based sauce with the perfect balance of spice and richness. It was the kind of dish that makes you want to slow down and savor every single bite. Now pair that with cheese and garlic naan? Oh. My. Goodness. Warm, fluffy, buttery naan loaded with just the right amount of cheese and roasted garlic. It was like the butter chicken and the naan were soulmates--and I got to witness their love story. The homemade chai tea? Phenomenal. Spiced just right, smooth, comforting--honestly, better than most chai I've had in restaurants. It wrapped me in warmth like a good chat with a favorite cousin. And then there was the gulab jamun. Sweet, warm, syrupy perfection. They were soft, soaked through with flavor, and melted in my mouth like little drops of heaven. Final verdict: If I could give 6 stars, I would. This meal was delicious, heartwarming, and unforgettable. Highly recommend if you love Indian food--or even if you've never tried it before. Start here.

This was my first time eating Indian cuisine. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They listened to my concerns about flavors. I enjoyed everything I tried. The restaurant is well lit and clean. I will definitely return.

We tried this place on Easter Sunday for dinner. We started off with hot and sour soup which was really spicy with having chili flakes in it. We then had hara bhara kabab in appetizer which was just ok. My husband ordered Chicken Hakka Noodles while I ordered Dal Makhani with Phulka Roti. Chicken Hakka Noodles were decent in taste. Dal Makhani was little spicy and tasted good while eating there however I got severe GI issues as soon as I made home. The Dal Makhani was served with a side of rice. For drinks I had Aam Panna which was made using a prepaid powder and wasn't good at all. The service was slow. The ambiance was ok. I'll NOT stop by again for sure as I had bad night with stomach aches and GI issues. Proceed at your own risk.

The staff was very friendly & helpful. The food was wonderful, especially the chicken sweet corn soup, garlic Naan & especially the Epicurean Murgh Tikka Nirvana (similar to Chicken Tikka Masala, but more flavor). We will definitely come back to try other dishes!

I have always loved Sankalp as it has the best dosas and so glad finally we have one in IL, I had Mysore masala dosa and with all the delicious chutneys, it was an amazing dining experience. The one thing which I would come back again and again is the sizzling brownie!!! I am glad I can have Indian sizzling brownie here now. The server was very friendly. He took my request to time filter coffee when I needed which I really appreciate. The ambiance is great with lots of space, light and nice buffet area.

Came back for dinner and the place was almost full. We tried the chicken Tikka pizza. It had a light touch of Indian spices and was good pizza. The lamp biryani takes 20 mins but was worth the wait and came out with a bread top. The garlic naan was one of the best.

Overall, this place offers a truly memorable dining experience with its flavorful and yummy biryani and egg curry. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic and delicious Indian cuisine.

We ordered the Gobi Manchurian, and it was served on only half of a large plate with no additional sides. It was confusing why such large plates were used when the quantity served made it look like part of the dish was missing. - The service was inconsistent. Some staff members were attentive, but the person who took our order often had to be called over whenever we needed something. Our starters were also served without plates for everyone at the table, and this went unnoticed until we pointed it out. - Lastly, the buffet seemed quite expensive for what was offered.

The idlys were definitely a highlight with a great balance of buttery and spicy. The service was very good checking in on us regularly and topping up water. Food came out fast and fresh. The restaurant itself is very large and very clean and is part of one of the largest parking lots I've ever seen, so parking is not a problem. We have been noticing the customer service has been poor lately and it has been going downhill. We had a really disappointing experience here today. I ordered the paneer chili fries and they came out very mild, almost no spice at all or flavor at all. I politely asked if they could adjust the spice level, and instead of a balanced fix, the dish came back overwhelmingly spicy to the point that it was completely inedible. What made the situation worse was the lack of customer service. When I explained that the dish was now too spicy to eat, the staff refused to fix it again or remove it from the bill. It felt dismissive and frustrating, especially since I was just hoping for a simple correction. Unfortunately, this experience left a bad impression. I appreciate restaurants getting things wrong sometimes, but how they handle it matters, and this was not handled well. I will no longer be returning to A2B.

Gave a very nostalgic vibe. We were immediately seated and the server was super sweet and had great recommendations for us. We went all out and ordered the benne dosa, Thatte idli, Karan dosa, gobi Manchurian, mushroom Manchurian, puri bhaji, filter coffee and the mango passion fruit breezer. The benne dosa was out of this world and was the standout dish of the day! The Thatte idli with podi was a close second. The filter coffee and the gobi Manchurian were great too. We were excited about the puri aloo but it was a miss for us. We didn't really like the mushroom Manchurian either. The karam dosa wasn't as spicy as they claimed but was still decent. The passion fruit mango breezer was great and felt so refreshing on a super hot day. Overall, our bill came down to around $130 which I think was a bit steep for a casual Indian restaurant but the food was worth it. I will definitely be back!

We went for a late lunch earlier this month around 3pm and I was honestly shocked at how packed it was for that time of day. We had to wait about 10 minutes for a table, which wasn't a huge deal, but I'm definitely making a reservation next time I come back. One thing to look out for: the menu is huge and it's all on a QR code which can definitely feel overwhelming. I personally prefer a physical menu, and asked for one, which was brought out, but the server mentioned it wasn't fully updated with all their dishes. That being said, we asked the server for her recommendation and the food was absolutely incredible. We ordered the Neyyi Kaaram Masala and I was blown away - the dosa was super crispy and packed with flavor. We also got 65 baby corn, which was seasoned perfectly. The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated and has great ambience. It's got a much better vibe than your typical strip-mall spot. When I look at the menu, I try to look for dishes that I've never had. I know our waiter suggested butter chicken and chicken tikka masala, but those are the most popular safe dishes for non Indians. I say safe dishes because your average American that walks in, is not going to order something that he/she doesn't know what it is. We ordered chicken 65, kashmiri naan, spinach chicken, kadhai lamb, and tandoori shrimp. Just a FYI, the water bottle(s) that come to your table are $2 each. They're not free. Portion sizes are average. Prices were fair. Service was great and attentive. Usually, there would be parking in the front and back. However, for some reason they were both full and there were barely any customers inside the restaurant. You can also park at the nearby parking garage (top level). That's a 2 min walk. -chicken 65 5 - this reminds me of a Chinese dish but I can't remember. I'm talking about the texture when you're eating it. As an Indian appetizer, it was delicious and would pair well with rice. Very addicting to eat. -kashmiri naan 5 - it has a mild sweet taste that is good with savory dishes. A mixture of dried fruits, coconut, and maybe nuts. -spinach chicken 5 - chicken was very tender and the sauce was flavorful. Very safe dish to eat if you're not that adventurous. -kadhai lamb 5 - the sauce has a more bold flavor than the spinach chicken. The lamb was very good. -tandoori shrimp 5 - Just a warning but this is kind of spicy especially for those that can't handle spicy foods. I like that the shrimp are prawn size and they were very tasty.
