Overall (A+) This place is awesome. Excellent service, fair and reasonable prices and authentic savory food. What more do you want? Will be taking all my friends to JK when craving Indian. Food (A+) We got the mixed kabob platter, butter chicken and palak paneer. Everyone enjoyed the food. All the grilled pieces of meat/kabobs were excellent. Butter chicken melts in your mouth. As close to an authentic Indian flavor as you can find in the states. Not full of oil or sugar like other places. The right amount of spices and expertly prepared. Service (A+) Super friendly and polite. The staff clearly explained all the dishes and helped us choose the menu items. They know the menu well and know what the customers are looking for/craving. Took a little while for food to come out. But we'll worth the wait! Don't want to rush a good thing. They make it fresh. Value (A) It's fine - priced just right. Big portion sizes. We paid around $135 out the door for 6 people but has left overs for another round. So easily could of fed 8-10 adults Don't believe the negative reviews - it's really really good here.

This is some of the best food in the Chicagoland area. After they closed their Devon St. location in the city we finally made a trip out to Naperville to taste that perfect Frontier Chicken and Lamb Kebab once again. I'm happy to report that the Naperville location is just as good as the closed Chicago spot. I was so happy to see the menu is also intact. Service was fast, and the restaurant was very clean. I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could. Get the Frontier Chicken and Lamb Kebab for sure, but I'm confident everything on the menu would be perfect.

Can you say happy tastebuds?!?! We LOVE this restaurant and have to refrain ourselves from eating here daily! I had no idea what to get so the staff helped me choose and they made great suggestions! I am a vegetarian and I get the Panner (cheese) plate which includes a side house salad, basmati rice, and bread. It is a bit spicy but that is what I love about it. The portion size allows me to enjoy this meal twice. My husband gets the Chicken Boti (cubed) Kabab meal. He LOVES it and asked for it daily! They always give you an estimated time for pickup of about 25 minutes and the food is always ready. We know that our food is going to be fresh and made just for us. I would highly recommend JK Kabab.

Let's get straight into this review..huge portions, delicious food and friendly service! The beef chapli kebab was huge, I made it into a sandwich with the huge paratha! The tandoori chicken was so soft and tasty. The chilli beef rice was too spicy, sadly it went to waste couldn't finish it. Definitely try this place if you're in the area!

Highly recommend this restaurant for Pakistani/Indian food. Their butter chicks is one of the best I've ever had! The Paratha pairs well with the butter chicken. If you're looking for good Pakistani food in the suburbs- check them out!

I personally don't like going out for this type of cuisine, but we brought my parents here for dinner. We ordered beef fried rice, tandoori chicken, and lamb seekh kabob. The fried rice was not fried. It was normally cooked rice with spicy little chunks of beef. Not my thing. The tandoori chicken was nicely cooked and flavorful. The kabobs were big, plump, and juicy. As for the ambiance and interior, it's not meant to be a fine dining experience like Haveli. Although food is served on proper plates with silverware, you order/pay at the front counter and the workers don't wear any sort of uniform. The artwork is the type of stuff you'd find at TJ Maxx, and they have tacky disco lighting to set the mood. It's small inside, but they managed to squeeze a bunch of 2- and 4-seat tables in; I would estimate max seating at 30. They don't take reservations, just walk-ins. I noticed a good amount of carry-out orders. Overall, not bad if you want authentic Indo-Pak food.

Everything tastes great! Sometimes it is overly spicy that it ruins the flavor but besides this the food is great.

The biggest issue was the payment process. The waiter handed me a portable payment device showing a total of $94.04 and immediately prompted me to select a tip amount. I chose 15%, bringing the total to $106.15. Only after asking for a receipt did I discover that an 18% service charge had already been added to the bill. I felt misled. The waiter should have first shown the full bill breakdown before presenting the tip screen. Charging an 18% service fee and then prompting customers for an additional tip without clearly disclosing it is not transparent. My party consisted of two adults and children, with the oldest being only 10 years old, which made the service charge even more surprising. The food itself was decent, although the portion sizes were quite small compared to other restaurants charging similar prices. Had the billing process been handled honestly and transparently, I would have overlooked the portion sizes. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I will not be returning. I wanted to share this review so others know what to expect.
