Same concept as chipotle but for Indian food. I really like Bombay Eats and plan to make this a spot I suggest to others. The restaurant is kept clean and has music playing in the background. It's loud enough to hear and quiet enough to have a conversation with who you're with. Service was interesting - the man who assisted me would ask a question but then cut me off when I answered him. Later on I asked for a to go lid from a different staff member and thankfully she was nice. Food here? YUUUUUP - I enjoyed it thoroughly. I tried the beef kebab bowl and also got a side of roti/flat bread. All the flavors went very well together and they also have non spicy options. I'm already thinking about coming back soon to try other items!

Finally got a chance to check out this spot!! The food is great!! Love the different options! My friend and I walked in and it was quiet for lunch! Although, we noticed there were some people in and out or picking up orders. We ordered our food, but felt a bit rushed even though it wasn't busy. The person who helped us was cutting off my friend when she was in the middle of saying something or wanted to ask a question about a menu item. The menu items are simple which is great! I ordered the beef kebab wrap. I loved it! I ordered the lunch combo and got a drink and samosas. The samosas were a bit on the dry side, but it was better with some sauce. My friend liked her bowl, and ended up taking her leftovers home! It was a good amount of food. I'd come back and order again, possibly on their app. I love the wraps, it was perfect. I really loved the paratha flatbread! I could eat a few of those by itself!

First time at Bombay Eats with my family! It's a chipotle based concept eats serving wraps and bowls with an option of adding Indian sauces. Customer service was friendly and efficient. The food is a bit pricey for the quantity that is given. The restaurant has a nice clean ambiance with red lighting which suites the style of Bombay.

The chicken tikka bowl was so yummy and I loved the dressing on the cucumber and tomatoes salad. Love the wall decor, especially the hallway leading to the restrooms

Making Indian food interesting! We went in as a group of 7 and pretty much ordered everything on the menu. The food is SO good!!! The sauces are on point! Sweet potato fries and samosa wrap were my favorite. I also really liked the drink options - Rose lassi, pistachio lassi, mango lassi etc. The pricing of the food was fair. Most wraps were at $6 and bowls at $12. Very reasonable compared to the restaurant pricing that is inflating higher than the economy. The folks assembling the food were very friendly and willing to answer any question. The place was clean, and appealing to the eyes. I'd certainly god back! Highly recommend this place.

I was craving Indian food and this place popped up in my area. To quickly summarize what this place is, it's an Indian version of Chipotle. You order your bowl or wrap and they make it in front of you asking what toppings and sauces you want. I decided to go with the lamb rice bowl. The lamb was very flavorful and tender. It came with a side of seasoned onions (which I loved), chickpeas, and salad. They had a spicy chutney which actually had a decent kick to it. They have a mild option as well for those that can't handle spicier foods. Overall, I enjoyed my dish. They also offered Indian snacks and my childhood favorite drink, Frooti! Bombay Eats offers a unique experience on Indian food.

Delicious take on Indian food! You order your food and can customize as needed. They'll ask you what other condiments you want and whether you want it spicy or mild. I got the chicken tikka wrap and it's so delicious! I love that the wraps are not like a traditional pita, they use flaky paratha which is like a flaky tortilla wrap that's soft and crunchy. Comes with a great balance of veggies and protein. 10/10 We also had the sweet potato fries served with a hot chili ketchup. The sweet potatoes are not basic, they're well seasoned, crunchy, and the sauce tastes like sweet and sour sauce. 8/10 I LOVED the mango lassi, it's a MUST HAVE, it has the perfect amount of sweetness and so smooth. Super well made! Highly recommend and will be trying their other flavors!! 10/10 Service was great and the restaurant is clean, well lit, and cozy. Modern interior with great seating and has a station for water. Will be coming here to try more of their foods!

So picked up for my wife today. First customer of the day. The chicken in her wrap was cold. Watched them make it and takes about 5 minutes to get home. Somehow the inside of the chicken got cold? Picked up a burger from oakbrook and drove 20 minutes and it was still warm yesterday. Inconsistent food quality - not a good sign. The negative reviews starting to make sense. So disappointed. Consistency is important to generate repeat business.

Beautiful ambiance and great space from inside. If you have a big group plan in advance. I have tried their food in Chicago and Naperville, and the food is really good. This Chipotle style Indian food, so you can get food fast. I love their samosa wrap, and this time, I added Amul cheese. Quantity is good, so one is good for me. I also like their pistachio and saffron lassi. It's different but tasty. The front desk person in Naperville was super nice and helpful. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend the place.

I heard that all the meat was halal now, at least at the Naperville location, so I was eager to give Bombay Eats another shot. This time we ate inside. The interior is pretty nice, and the bathrooms also have nice tilework. Even the hallway leading to the bathrooms is really cool. Anyway, we ordered using the self-serve kiosk. We got a chicken reshmi rice bowl, a beef kebab salad bowl, and a mango lassi. The chicken rice bowl wasn't generous in size, but fair. It tasted pretty good. For the beef kebab bowl, they were running low on beef, so they gave two kebabs and some shredded lamb. This was a very tasty dish. I would have liked a little less lettuce, though. The mango lassi was equally delicious. Here's the cool thing -- since the beef was low (which wasn't a big deal since they supplemented it with lamb), they offered us complimentary samosas w/ sauce and a khatta berry lassi. Now that's service! The mini samosas were fresh & crispy, and the berry lassi was awesome since it wasn't too sweet.

Food was good! But the rose lassi was amazing. I'd prefer the paneer bowl over chicken. We wanted to grab a quick bite. 5 stars for the rose lassi and customer service! Fast and polite service!

Gave a very nostalgic vibe. We were immediately seated and the server was super sweet and had great recommendations for us. We went all out and ordered the benne dosa, Thatte idli, Karan dosa, gobi Manchurian, mushroom Manchurian, puri bhaji, filter coffee and the mango passion fruit breezer. The benne dosa was out of this world and was the standout dish of the day! The Thatte idli with podi was a close second. The filter coffee and the gobi Manchurian were great too. We were excited about the puri aloo but it was a miss for us. We didn't really like the mushroom Manchurian either. The karam dosa wasn't as spicy as they claimed but was still decent. The passion fruit mango breezer was great and felt so refreshing on a super hot day. Overall, our bill came down to around $130 which I think was a bit steep for a casual Indian restaurant but the food was worth it. I will definitely be back!

We went for a late lunch earlier this month around 3pm and I was honestly shocked at how packed it was for that time of day. We had to wait about 10 minutes for a table, which wasn't a huge deal, but I'm definitely making a reservation next time I come back. One thing to look out for: the menu is huge and it's all on a QR code which can definitely feel overwhelming. I personally prefer a physical menu, and asked for one, which was brought out, but the server mentioned it wasn't fully updated with all their dishes. That being said, we asked the server for her recommendation and the food was absolutely incredible. We ordered the Neyyi Kaaram Masala and I was blown away - the dosa was super crispy and packed with flavor. We also got 65 baby corn, which was seasoned perfectly. The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated and has great ambience. It's got a much better vibe than your typical strip-mall spot. If you're on the fence about south indian food like I was, just go. You won't regret it

Good Food, But the Difference in Service Was Hard to Ignore…read more My daughter and I visited on August 30th, and I deliberately waited a few days before writing this review because I wanted to be fair about our experience. We have lived in this area for almost four years after moving from the East Coast. We consider ourselves foodies, especially when it comes to international cuisine, and have explored several Indian restaurants throughout the Naperville area. I first discovered this restaurant when ordering takeout. During that visit, a gentleman whom I believe was the manager was exceptionally kind and even allowed us to sample a few items from the buffet. I told him I would return, and I did. Unfortunately, our dine-in experience was very different. After being seated, we received water, but no one returned to check on us. I finished my first plate, and my daughter finished hers before the naan and tandoori chicken were brought to our table approximately 20 minutes later. I am vegetarian, so the chicken wasn't important to me, but we had almost forgotten about the naan by the time it arrived. My daughter also ordered a simple tea. The waiter acknowledged her order, but the tea never came. What concerned us most was watching what happened with the customers who arrived after us. As new customers were seated, we repeatedly heard the sizzling tandoori chicken being brought to their tables, along with naan, within minutes. My back was turned, but my daughter could see the room and began noticing how quickly the other tables were being served. Meanwhile, no one returned to ours to ask the most basic customer-service question: "How is everything? Do you need anything?" My daughter and I were the only Black/African American customers in the restaurant at the time. I am not claiming to know anyone's intentions, but I would be dishonest if I said the noticeable difference in service didn't make us wonder why our table was being treated differently. We frequently dine at Indian and other international restaurants where we may be the only African American customers present, and that has never been an issue. What made this experience uncomfortable was the obvious difference in the level of service we received compared with the service provided to those around us. Before leaving, I quietly spoke with the gentleman at the register, whom I believe was the manager. When our waiter approached, the manager asked him why my daughter's drink had never been brought. The waiter apologized and appeared ready to get her a tea to go, but by then I declined. I want to acknowledge the manager for his sincere, respectful, and genuine apology. He explained that they were short-staffed because someone had not shown up for work. I appreciated the way he handled my concern, and he is the primary reason I chose not to leave a one-star review. However, being short-staffed does not fully explain why customers who arrived after us, received prompt service while our table was repeatedly overlooked. In a restaurant, teamwork should help fill those gaps. I worked as a waitress many years ago; I am a professional writer, and I own my own business. I know what good customer service looks like, and I understand the importance of how people are treated when they choose to spend their money with your business. The food was good. The service experience was not. After giving it considerable thought, I don't believe I would return for their weekend buffet. There are many Indian restaurants in the Naperville area, and good food alone isn't enough when a dining experience leaves you questioning why your table received a noticeably different level of service. I may consider ordering takeout again because I did enjoy the food, and I sincerely appreciate the manager for listening to my concerns. I hope management receives this review in the spirit in which it is written: not simply as criticism, but as an opportunity to make sure every customer who walks through that door receives the same respect, attention, and hospitality. In comparison, excellent food and customer service have kept me coming back to A2B, Shimla Peppers, Indian Harvest, and Bombay Chopsticks (which also offers an excellent buffet). Unfortunately, after this experience, I don't believe I will add Cuisine of India to my list of favorite restaurants or recommend it to friends or others in the area. Because in business, you never truly know who has just walked through your door. Never judge a book by its cover. You don't know who they are. By Author P
