We were selling a condo in Carpinteria and with with bad luck our ice maker decided to stop working. In the middle of escrow with the ice maker going out seemed to be just another headache. I could not believe how professional and truly nice the Santa Barbara Sub Zero technicians were. They showed up the same day and on time plus they knew right away what the problem was. They spend about an hour fixing the ice maker and were personable and the cost blew me away, very fair and below my expectations. I did not think that this level of professionalism and service existed any longer. Vlad answered my first call - made on the weekend - quickly and gave me suggestions of things to do on my own. When that didn't work, he scheduled an appointment for Monday and came exactly when he said he would. He quickly assessed the ice maker, made the necessary adjustment to get it working again and checked the overall health of my older model Sub-Zero. He refused to charge me anything because it was a quick fix. I have already passed his contact information on to all of my friends. You will not find any service repair of this quality easily. I searched all the local businesses who service Sub-Zero refrigerators & all I can say is, I must have really good karma to have ended up with Vlad, who did a flawless job of repairing my faulty freezer compartment! It went from 34 degrees to 0 degrees--I have ice & frozen food again! Vlad is simply without equal. Vlad responded quickly to our call to clear clogged drain in 2013 Sub-Zero. Clog caused moisture build-up leading to mold, and we could not easily remove the back and clear the clog.
