[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a cool spot! Super chill vibe, laid back music, food truck and of course, incredible craft beer![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]You'll love the courtyard and happy hour![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This spot was recommended to us from the bartender at Nuckolls because she bartends at Brake Room too. Unfortunately the night we went, she wasn't bartending. She told us a little about the history of the building. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a cool speakeasy vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]But similar to other places that I guess didn't realize it was spring break, there was 1 bartender working. Glasses and trash were everywhere. Dirty tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And when we went to tab out, the bartender called my husband "my eager friend" sarcastically like we were rushing him. But we weren't in a hurry. I think he was just stressed. The beers were great. We would have liked to try more, but too busy.

Out front. Rainy day.

I was invited here for a little get together with friends. It was my first time at this location. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Pretty cool little spot that looks like an old house.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There were many more different beers on tap than I expected, all from Santa Fe Brewing Company. Was a little surprised that they didn't have guest taps, so the variety was great. The staff were really nice and they didn't mind that our large group pretty much took over the little yard area in front (3 tables). I could see this being a spot that I come back to somewhat regularly. The food truck out back wasn't open this night, but I've heard good things about it.

Time for a break and a beer. As with a few of my blogs, the place I pop into and decide to review are based solely on just walking around downtown Santa Fe and seeing the sights and shops and sculptures. Cassey and I hit a point where we were settled on food and coffee for the day but wanted to top our tanks off with beer. I pulled up Google and Yelp to see what the nearest place was to grab some drinks and Santa Fe Brewing was a short walk away. We approached from the wrong side of the building and tried going through a door that was ajar but quickly realized that was not the right entrance (or maybe it is, we didn't venture beyond the door) and made our way to the other side. Ahhh, it was finally time for some beers as we entered and were greeted by a friendly bartender. Having fallen in love with their Social Hour beer at Cowgirl BBQ, I was surprised to see they had four version of the beer; Social Hour, Social'er Hour, Slightly Social, and Social Experiment. I quickly got a flight of those plus a sample of Santa Fhazy. Cassey got a Santa Fhazy as well and we took our drinks outside and enjoyed the sunshine and relaxing while we drank our beers. The bartender did her best to label each of the beers but I don't remember which beer was which since the nuances of flavoring gets lost on me. I'm one of those people who will drink something and think its tasty or not without trying to pinpoint all the flavors or notes. Anywho, I do remember liking the other varieties to some degree but nothing hit quite as well as the basic Social Hour. We went back in for another beer and sat outside in the shade so we wouldn't risk getting a bit burned like we did at The Golden Mill. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Sitting outside while drinking some good beer with a good friend was a great way to relax for the afternoon.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There was a food truck out there but it wasn't open for some reason, despite the hours on the side indicating they should be slinging orders. With this being one of their auxiliary locations, I wonder if they have even more on tap at their other locations. That is a question I will answer if I ever get to go back to Santa Fe... which I fell in love with the area during my week there... so the possibility of going back is pretty good. P. S. - They do have free stickers on hand if you like to collect them like I do.

Love the Santa Fhazy. Great neighborhood tap room with dogs and games. Wonderful, laid back atmosphere. Great beer.

Great location and a fun, jovial crowd. The service could be more attentive on customers vs friends (I waited a decent amount of time before she noticed I needed another beer because she kept getting talking to people). But it's a lovely place and I'll definitely be back.

Super unique atmosphere. Older historic building. Lots of beers, ciders, & seltzers to choose from. Outdoor seating as well.

Oktoberfest beer

Stopped by the Santa Fe Brewing Company today to try their Oktoberfest beer. So good (they nailed it). They have a food truck , but I did not try it. They are practicing Covid protocols and people are respectful. Excellent service from Joaquin. If you are nearby, give it a try. Enjoy!

I am overflowing with gratitude for the wonderful experience I had at Nuckolls Brewing Co. right in…read morethe heart of the Railyard District on Friday - 1/2. If you are looking for the perfect Santa Fe "vibe," this is exactly where you need to be! The atmosphere is absolutely electric yet incredibly welcoming. With husband and son, we enjoyed the industrial-chic interior, there is a sense of community here that you just don't find everywhere. It's the kind of place that makes you want to stay for "just one more" round. While the beer list is impressive, I have to give a special shout-out to their Root Beer. It was absolutely delicious--crisp, flavorful, and the perfect treat. It's so refreshing to find a brewery that puts just as much love into its craft sodas as its ales! Thank you to the staff for the hospitality. I'll definitely be back soon when I return to Santa Fe!
