The Chicken Cobb was one of the best cobb salads I've ever had. It paired well with their 2920 IPA. In fact, we took a 6-pack of the 2920 back with up to San Antonio. On other visits to Second Street, we were amazed by the Northern NM Style Enchiladas, Rueben sandwich and fish -n-chips. The Alien Burger is THE BEST burger I've ever had!!!! OMG wow, it's packed with amazingness: a big cheese-stuffed roasted green chile, crunchy bacon, chopped hatch chiles, guacamole, queso sauce, perfectly cooked burger patty, and toasted bun. I'll be dreaming of this burger! My husband and I each got one. The tater tots side was a huge amount and they were seasoned to perfection, super crispy. The coleslaw had a delicious flavor and cut through the heartiness of the burger. 5 stars for Second Street Brewery just for the Alien Burger!! Eat it, right now! The beers were a range of great to OK. The brown ale was our favorite! The bitter was very good. The two hazy IPAs were not great... When we arrived, the service experience was pretty confusing. We were told to order from different people, our server was overwhelmed with a big table, so we ordered from the bar. But the server excused himself and was really cool in the end. There's tons of seating inside, and an outdoor patio, so this is a great spot for groups. And we got to meet the Chef, he was so nice!! We stopped in Santa Fe during a road trip and were looking for a local spot for a late dinner. We had read some mixed reviews, but honestly, don't let the negative ones scare you off! We had a great experience at Second Street Brewery! The food was amazing. We ordered the cauliflower wings and the Alien Burger. I loved that we mentioned we were going to split it and it came already cut and in separate plates! The Hatch chile inside the burger was so good and I'm always a fan of avocado in my burger. We also got a beer flight to try a few of their brews. Everything was solid! I really enjoyed the crisp pilsner, and my boyfriend was a big fan of the IPAs. Our server was super kind and even offered us dessert because we helped him with a bet, which was funny. We were too full to try it, but the gesture alone was greatly appreciated! The space itself is big, and they even have a small stage, which I'm guessing is for live music. They also have a dog-friendly patio (always a plus!) The idea of a vegetarian ruben initially gave me pause, but as a vegetarian who loves mushrooms, I'm really glad I gave it a try. We were looking for a place to eat after Meow Wolf and this is right around the corner. The parking lot is SMALL--that's the biggest complaint that I have. The menu for both food and drinks offers a lot of variety. It was busy but not overly loud. We were visiting Sante Fe for Memorial Day weekend and chose Second Street Brewery because it was close to our hotel. The hospitality, service, food, beer and cocktails were amazing. I would highly recommend this Brewery. The servers were really great at their jobs recommending beers and bringing a taste to the table first. They never made us feel like we were imposing. Been going to 2nd Street since it was on 2nd street but only for beers, which are good. Ended up at the newer Rufina taproom and decided to order dinner to go. Order 4 burgers medium and they all came back extra well done with a burnt taste. If they can't even cook a basic burger to order without burning them, I have no confidence in order food from there in the future. Fries were good which is why I gave it 2 stars instead of one. Btw the overall price with tip for 4 burgers and 3 beers was over $100. Could have ate a better cooked burger for cheaper at Whataburger. #disappointed. The server had our drinks in hand but decided to stop by the bar to chat up some dude. So if you are looking for stellar service, this is not the place to go. We decided to split a large house salad with chicken. A family member picked it up and paid for it. When we checked at home, no chicken. Online menu for this location says the large house salad was $12.5 and chicken Is an extra $5, $17.50 total. The serving is not worth the price. The beer is good though. On a warm high desert day, the kolsch hits the spot. Most of the stouts are hearty and delicious. Water is in coolers around the restaurant. And don't ask for water, they can't afford to get any for you, self serve only. The calamari is way too fishy smelling, old. Patrons at the bar aren't always friendly. The atmosphere is not friendly at times. It's hit or miss. Hopefully, they can kindly and professionally treat all visitors. read more

Wow! Our bartender Cindy gave us the most attentive and engaging service I have ever enjoyed at a Taproom. We are Marylanders and Love,Love, LOVE chicken wings. We ordered 24 Xtra Crispy and tried each of the three varieties! The Green Chilie is mild, the Buffalo was a little spicier, but i would say mild too overall. BBQ was also a mild sauce as well. I would recommend the 2920 IPA to cleanse the pallet. We saw a T-Shirt for a crawfish boil. We were told to look out for a Pilsner and Crab Boil event around Father's Day. When other people tried to figure out what they want to drink, they were hogging the menu...we asked for another menu and got another one for food [rolls eyes]. Enough and spacious sitting is available. Prices are reasonable for the most part. Customer service is present and they very helpful. Food is adequate in taste and quality. I had a great time Friday evening at Second Street. There was a live band and the place was full of great energy. I can't recall the name of the beers I had, but they were crisp and refreshing. I had an order of fish and chips with sweet potato fries and I don't know if I've had a better fish and chips dish! I also tried a 4 oz sampler of the Cream Stout and Ron's Best Bitter which both were excellent. They also offer 8, 16 and 20 oz along with pitcher, 32 and 64 oz growlers. We were really craving pizza, and they do not serve pizza but we were desperate. I'm glad we were because the pretzel was super good!! I have been sampling the different quesos in Santa Fe. Each one is different. Some are spicy, some are mild, each has a lot of flavor!!! This one was not spicy but filled with lots of flavor. My friend got the sweet potato fries and they were probably the best ones I've ever had. I enjoy sampling beers but I'm not a big beer person. Great place for food after Meow Wolf. Came here with a large party that needed to eat and unwind after the art experience and we were very grateful to find large tables, well ventilated, heated (enough) and plenty of space between us and other patrons so we could enjoy a snack and beverage with our masks off. The cheesy spicy queso with chips and salsa, and the Steel Bender Cider, were absolutely perfect for the moment, much needed. Stopped in for a late dinner after visiting Meow Wolf. A cool and relaxed atmosphere. We enjoyed the live band! Our waitress was very rushed and didn't seem very happy to be there. I ordered the Siesta Margarita. I do not recommend. It was not really a margarita. It was tequila and grapefruit juice in a small glass with no ice. I expect ice at least for a $12 margarita I asked the waitress multiple times for ice, 30 minutes later I received the ice. I ordered Christmas enchiladas and got red enchiladas, no green. The enchiladas were ok. Would not order again. My husband got the Fish and chips which he really liked. Our friends ordered the green chile stew. The stew Was vegetable soup with green chile thrown in. What was good was the beer! They have gluten free IPA! The Kolcsh was also very good. They brew on the spot. I love visiting breweries while traveling and I enjoyed this one. Their hazy IPA was tasty and the cheese enchiladas were really good too. I especially appreciated the service. The bartender served me even though I wasn't sitting at the bar and he was so nice and really attentive despite managing a large after work crowd. I also loved its airy vibe. The inside is decorated with plants and there's a nice deck for outdoor seating. I wanted to take a second beer to go, but they only sold four packs, so I didn't. My husband and I were regulars at the original location on 2nd street. We were devastated when they closed down. This location on Rufina unfortunately doesn't have the same taste, ambiance or stellar customer service we became acustomed to. When we walked in on Saturday we were expecting a packed house but it was not too busy. We waited for about 10 minutes when we saw the waitress help another table that came in after us. After she was finished we motioned for her to assist us in getting drinks. She said "They were here first" talking about another table that arrived AFTER we did. Why would she say that if she had no clue of the arrival order. A simple "I'll be right with you" would have sufficed. As you walk in you're able to pick your own table, which is alway great. You are greeted by very very nice servers and they tell you of the specials of the day and the beers they have on tap. Oh and they also serve flights so you can try some different beers at once. I ordered the barbecue bacon onion pork burger with sweet potato waffle fries. It was delicious and just the right amount of food. If you love barbecue, this burger is for you! The fish and chips were so fresh and delightful.
