After going to numerous locations of this company, it's safe to say that it is the worst brewery in the state, maybe the entire southwest. The attitudes that appear to be cultivated in the employees is beyond rude most times, especially at the HQ and Tin Can locations, and they treat customers like they don't care if you come back or not. There is one employee specifically that stands out regarding terrible service, short round girl, definitely not going to be a good experience with her on the floor. The beer is not great, so they should be a little more grateful for local customers, there's plenty of other places to support with our dollars. read more

Nice stop on a warm October afternoon! Downtown was bustling and this was a nice chill break from the touristy crowds. The playlist was perfect, as were the beers. I got a flight so I could try the first 5 of the core beers they keep on tap. I sat in the front room. No other sippers and the front door was wide open letting the cool afternoon breeze drift in. I highly recommend adding this to your post-shopping trip to Santa Fe. There is plenty of free parking behind. Cheers! read more

An interesting brewery visit after a day full of adventure in Santa Fe ! The music in brewery was 60's ish the chairs were comfy temperature was a bit too cold as they just opened up taproom. This is a really cute brewery. They have a parking lot around the back which is amazing. They also have a great outdoor area with a bunch of table and benches. They had a food truck out there as well, but we didn't have a chance to try the food. We walked in through the back from the parking lot and ordered at the bar. We got a flight. The outside is great with several seating areas, a stationary "food truck" that's fun and gives off a great vibe. Parking is easy and right out front.The outside looks like a fun adult park with colorful seating, grassy area and string lights above. Came out and checked this place out as it's not far from the downtown area at all and I've been to the standard location before. I wasn't even sure this place was actually going to be there as it only has two reviews! It's a small little place with the entrance around the back, a converted house. On arrival the bar was pretty full with what seemed to be locals and a few people/groups scattered around the outside seating area. They had a good selection of SF beers and also some non-SF local cider options as well as wine for the non-beer drinkers. Pints came in at around $5 each and if you sign into their WiFi you get a $1 off your next pint. It looked as if the place has food trucks too. They was a steady stream of people coming and leaving. Smaller place with a very local feel. Inside is cozy and there are a few picnic tables outside to sit outside and enjoy a brew, wine or cider with your pup. Bartender was very on top of it. They have a good selection, mostly something for everyone including non-alcoholic options. They have board games that you can grab to play with the group, a chess table as well. I've been intending to write a review for The Breakroom for a while now. For the most part, I love this place. It has a great atmosphere and a lot of outside seating. That said, tonight's experience was less than perfect (Tuesday, Aug 8th) . To sum it up, there is a great deal of truth to the statement that the staff can make or break a business. Given the fact that it's still early August, it was a cool and rainy night for Santa Fe. There were only four customers outside and around ten in the bar area (yes, I counted). However, the atmosphere was upbeat and the customers were drinking and having a good time. I approached the girl working the bar at 9.27PM to purchase a glass of wine for myself and a beer for my friend. It was going to be our last for the evening. Rather than serving us, she informed me that she had called for "last orders"--which in reality she had not openly announced. In response, I asked, "What time do you close? She told me 10PM, but she had decided to stop serving early, since it was not very busy. She said this as I was standing there looking at a bar full of people! To sum it up, not only was the girl not very personable or friendly--or even smiled on the occasions she served me, I would (as a business owner who has staff of my own), not tolerate an employee who was incapable of honoring my posted business hours. Given her attitude and questionable work ethic, it was obvious that she had little interest in working and simply wanted to go home. I loved the Santa Fe Cigar Company, which used to be located in this gorgeous old building right by the state capitol. Not because I smoked a lot of cigars; it was just a quaint, old-fashioned shop with a mysterious, members-only club. The space is now occupied by SFBC, who have stretched far and wide in Santa Fe and Albuquerque. Just a block from the hard cider taproom, SFBC is helping turn this quiet nook of Santa Fe into a happening part of town. Bonus: it still has the distinguished aroma of a well-loved humidor. On a recent visit, I sat with friends on the couch in the back. All the beers tasted good. I rolled the dice on the Social Hour, and it was a very different flavor profile from what I'm used to. Staples like State Pen Porter, Happy Camper, and 7K come highly recommended. There's a somewhat classy air to the interior, while outdoor seating is also available. Definitely a worthy spot to obtain libations. read more

If you like drinking your beer in a cloud of cigarette smoke this is your spot. Unfortunately, I hate the smell of smoke so this place didn't work for me. I'm talking the cigarette smoke was EVERYWHERE-inside, outside, I couldn't escape it. When I got home that night, I smelled like an ashtray(from sitting outside at Santa Fe Brewing). Nice little spot to get craft beer. It is situated in a house and has a large area with the bar and then a back room. They have a wide variety of beers from pale to dark.
