We came here at the end of our day. They had indoor and outdoor seating and we decided to sit outdoors. Most of their seating was outside enclosed with a rooftop with an open and comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Service was very friendly and always available. The food was ok; we were glad to be in a brewery that served food. There were many beer choices. We ordered a flight of beers to try. We enjoy IPAs but unfortunately couldn't find one that we really liked. There was not much noise level which made it perfect for conversations. There was plenty of parking and it was easy to park. 2nd time the Santa Fe Foodies have dined here, this time with 10 members. We came on a Friday so we could (again), order the Fish and Chips. Five of us ordered this dish. The fish is terrific; moist on the inside, crispy on the outside, not fishy; a really nicely done fried fish. The fries were a big miss! Last time they were overly salted, and we did mention this to the staff. This time, it was worse; not too salty, but everyone was unhappy with the texture. Some thought they were frozen (they had that frozen fry texture), but of course, they were not, we were told. The taste was OK, but after a few fries, none of us could eat any more. They all ended up in the trash. Too bad because the most challenging part of fish and chips is the fish, which Rowley's does very well. Chips? Nope! You can ask for a Caesar instead, but it's rather lackluster (more later). My wife had the Green Chile Tuna Melt, which was pretty good and unusual. They use wild yellowtail to make the salad, and it was a nice upgrade from the usual. Not fishy like Tuna can be (although if you like tuna salad, which we do, that's not an issue). Had a nice kick from the Chile, nice bread, etc. We recommend this dish. Came with a side Caesar salad, which was pretty bland. It's all about the dressing, of course, and this version didn't seem to have any anchovies I could detect, nor the necessary other ingredients to make it remarkable. Could have been ranch or any other 'white' dressing. Another miss. Tried the Roasted Brussels Sprouts, which were pretty good (need more roasting), and need the bacon as a default. The version at Box Car is far superior. But not bad here, not a miss. But better We also tried the Grilled & Roasted Vegetables topped with feta. This dish was delicious! A really nice side for those who want something healthy with their fried fish. The waiter knew we didn't like the fries, so he 'comped' us dessert, which was a very nice gesture. We tried the Bread Pudding and the Mango Cheesecake. The cheesecake was way too cool, so its texture was hard and not what I'd normally expect. There wasn't a trace of Mango I could detect. The crust was nice. Not a miss, but not something I'd order again. The bread pudding was pretty good, not the best in class, but more successful than the cheesecake. Not overly sweet, thankfully, but a bit dense. Service was very good! Our server was Gerson C, who got everything right. The kitchen served the food promptly, and everyone was served at once. But overall, too many misses for me to be convinced to go back. read more

Great food and great beer. As the name suggests, they make a lot of sours here. Being from Arizona, I particularly enjoyed the collaboration they did with Superstition Meadery. It was very tasty and not too sweet. Our server, Jamie was wonderful and the place had a lovely homey vibe. The food was good too, we had the Green Chile Tuna Melt and the Baked Green Chile Chicken Enchiladas. The enchiladas were a little dry, but not too bad. We called ahead to confirm that we could bring our pup and that it would be warm, dry and sheltered on a cold snowy Wed night. Indeed they have an "enclosed" patio with some heat lamps. The ground is graveled, with the exception of one table reserved for handicap seating, where the floor was concrete. Super friendly and welcoming Nestor immediately got us waters plus a dish with water for our pup. He also offered blankets. Huge selection of ales, interesting menu (see photo). We didn't expect the outstanding food - Shrimp & Grits was probably the best I've tasted, Steak Frites with French green pepper butter was delicious, but the NE clam chowder with a ton of clams in their shells just hit the spot. I was enthusiastic about trying this place. The menu seemed new and innovative, as well as the beer. I got there on a Sunday evening. Not that many people in the restaurant. After a long wait someone came up to me and asked for a drink order. He seemed only on the verge of coherence. After putting my order, I waited 15 minutes. No beer and no weight staff came over to take what was going to be an appetizer and a food order I was born and raised here. I don't live here now but when I come back, I like to try new restaurants. This is one of the biggest disappointments I've had in Santa Fe, but also consistent with Santa Fe service. Don't waste your time. If you're not gonna try hard enough to establish your reputation by at least providing good service, you don't deserve to succeed. What a great opportunity and yet it is squandered and I'm doubtful. When in Santa Fe this is my go to brewery. Their beer and food menu is creative and different from the rest. They even have vegan and gluten free options that are very tasty. The dog friendly patio is spacious. My go to is the gluten free shrimp and grits with Fields of Rye and hubby had the southwestern Cobb salad with the Slice of Hefen. Both beers paired well with the meals. This little gem is tucked away in a neighborhood and might be hard to find for first timers. The food was good. I had a burger with bacon and fries. I don't recall anyone saying anything negative about the food. The service was bad, though. The music was quite loud. I came with a large group of 18 or 20 people about six weeks ago on a Thursday. They automatically placed a 20% tip on the check. The waitress didn't tell us her name. I had to ask three times for the beer I ordered because the waitress kept forgetting it. I might have waited ten or twelve minutes for it. I should have canceled it and gone to the bar. One time, she should have gotten it immediately but went to instead go take orders from the next table. And then I had to ask again for my beer. She didn't ask if we wanted desert. She didn't clear tables and left two or three rounds of empty glasses all over the table and never removed them. She never asked if we wanted a second round of drinks. If anyone wanted another drink, he or she had to flag her down and ask. It's amazing that a server who makes money from tips didn't want to increase the size of the check. Nor did she give good service. But perhaps the automatic tip contributed to the poor service. read more

Cute clean spot. Easy parking. The food was good. Easy parking. They have game nights and donate 1$ per pour of a specific beer to an animal charity which I thought was a nice lil bonus. My only complaint is it's cashless. I choose not to support cashless businesses. It seems to be a pattern here in ABQ/SF area. I assume because of crime. But that's not the world I want to live in. Our family of four recently visited Rowley Farmhouse Ales and was seriously impressed with both the food and beer selection. While the chicken wings definitely weren't crispy enough, we still really enjoyed the Korean-inspired flavor--bold, savory, and just the right amount of heat. The arancini, though, stole the show. The addition of green chiles gave them a perfect kick, balancing creamy and crunchy textures beautifully. And of course, you can't go wrong with a great pretzel--theirs is definitely house-made. Their beer list was extensive, featuring a solid variety of in-house brews complemented by well-chosen outside options to round out different styles. So we went his past weekend and had a few beers, I had their bier de garde. I'm just go with a "NO" on this one. I'm a big fan of that style but this is one taste like it had been infected with that super off taste and sourness. Granted it had been mixed I guess with gin and was still but come one people. When we first arrived the staff had just been overwhelmed with people for who was working, and with that factored in they did fine. Maybe the services wasn't 5 stars, but the food was good! It was a local comfort zone and had a local musician playing, so the live music vibe was nice. Maybe not my groove in terms of genre but I can roll with it. Had just. Casual feel. The food was really good. I had the Mac and cheese and it was the best Mac and cheese I have ever had. Everyone was super happy about their food. One thing to keep in mind...they specialize in sour beer so the other options are minimal.
