If you are in the mood for some fast food style Mexican, this is the place to go. These guys are super efficient. The portions are generous. Service is friendly. Place is clean. I don't know where else you can get such a big scoop of guacamole without having to pay extra. It's nothing fancy, but your burrito will be made exactly as you want it. Inside of three minutes. I ordered grub hub delivery here twice and they are SO FAST. They come within 20 minutes and the food comes in good shape and they provide utensils, napkins, sauces on the side and everything! This burrito is so FAT, and so JUICY, and the best burrito I ever had! I am a Chipotle lover but this Santa Fe has converted me. The systems down for the restaurant and it's awesome to watch the manager and staff masterfully address dismayed customers , comp the entire highschool baseball teams meals and drinks and do it all with a smile on their face. Not ideal for anyone but nice to see a staff act like they know how to simply communicate the truth and team work effectively. 10 mins delayed on Sunday night , gives you a chance to decompress with some beats and a drink if you want. Stopped in for a quick lunch while passing through the area and got a burrito bowl with yellow rice, black beans, carnitas, onions, etc. I really enjoyed it. The pork was tender, the queso and salsa verde were flavorful, and I like they offer fresh chopped cilantro, cheese, lettuce, etc. While the queso was extra, it was a good amount of food and still about $10. Decided to give this place one more chance and never again I tell you. If you enjoy being sick to your stomach and on the toilet the rest of the day, go ahead and try this place. The food here is disgusting and it caters mostly to the local Dean College kids because they could care less what they eat and its cheap. The burritos here are nasty, the tacos are nasty, the rice is gross, I mean come on, how can you screw up tacos. Do yourself a favor and skip this place and hit Taco Bell about a mile down the road. Initially I was hesitant to come to this restaurant as I wasn't really sure what to expect. It turned out to be nicer than what I imagined it to be. Has similar layout and feel to another big chain Mexican restaurant. The restaurant itself hasn't been there that long. It's quite clean on the inside with lots of seating. There are several booths which is nice as well as some free standing tables and chairs. It's nicely decorated and very colorful. There are two entrances and exits. It's one of those places that you order as you go down the line and tell them what do you want in your burrito or bowl and pay at the end. What's cool about the place is they actually have alcohol, you can buy beers and margaritas even thought it's not the type of restaurant that there are waiters to serve you. You order everything you want at the counter and choose your own seating and take your food to your table. You also have to put away your items once done eating. There's one trash can that you can throw away the trash but do not throw away the red plastic containers or the trays...the sign there will tell you that as well. Today was the second time I've been to the Santa Fe Burrito Grille and it did not disappoint! Absolutely huge, generous, well balanced burrito that could feed a family of four - or just me. DELICIOUS! Very impressed with this place in quality, quantity, and taste. The burrito was a touch over $11 with tax and I noticed the price had gone up some, but it's still WELL WORTH IT from my perspective. Prices are up on everything and this business needs to be profitable like any business if you want them to be around for a while. My whole family loves this place. If chipotle could do better it would be this place. I also love that they don't have a bunch of plastic packaging and use cardboard type takeaway containers that's a huge plus for me. The staff is nice and everything I ordered both in person and online so far has been fulfilled as requested without errors. Delicious food, fast, friendly service. Everything tastes fresh and flavorful. I'm partial to barbacoa hard shell tacos with beans and queso. My spouse prefers chicken nachos. I usually don't choose chicken because I ate so much of it as a kid, but their chicken is cooked to perfection and almost melts in my mouth. Everthing I've tried here I've enjoyed. When I first discovered this place, I went so often the staff began to recognize me. I joke that it's the most dangerous thing about Franklin for be because I can't pass by without stopping in.
