So glad this place came to town! I got a barbacoa burrito with lettuce sour cream and salsa and it came to around $10 after tax. Not too bad. For the price it is well worth it I would expect to pay much more for the quality. I got a HUGE heavy burrito that wasn't soaked and just tasted so fresh with every ingredient. I will be back! I grabbed a chicken burrito from them last week It typically is very good However, this one had not one but two significant sized bones, maybe the ends of chicken legs? in the burrito itself. It did not taste good and I stopped eating after 3 bites. It concerns me that they seemed to throw whatever kind of chicken they had laying around. I won't be back. Disappointing. read more

I enjoyed ordering take-out from Santa Fe. The employee was super friendly and very generous on the ingredients I requested to be put in my burrito. I ordered the carnitas but after trying the chicken my mom ordered in her bowl, I would definitely get that next time. I like my meat to be seasoned and the carnitas definitely lacked flavor. The chicken, on the other hand, were bite size pieces but tasted like they came off a rotisserie chicken. It was unique and something I'd love to order in the future. Our entrees came with all the usual toppings such as cheese, sour cream, pico de gallo and many others. My friend recently moved to the area so we decided we would try a place near her for take out. I was kind of sick of pizza and subs so we picked Mexican and found Santa Fe Burrito Grill online. I'm glad we did! The place is small but the atmosphere is great and the restaurant was very visibly clean. It was a Friday night and they were pretty busy. We both ordered nachos, she got chicken and I got carnitas. We also each ordered chips and guac for her, queso for me. The chips were delicious and crisp. The queso was great because it had some kick to it but was not too spicy. The toppings on the nachos were really fresh. The pork on my nachos was tender, moist and was flavorful. I don't live in Franklin but I would be willing to make the trip there to order from Santa Fe Burrito in the future. Definitely worth a try! read more

Placed my order and was not even asked for a name, but drove over there forgetting my coupon. Santa Fe Burrito Grill is a quick-service Mexican restaurant where you order what you want at the counter (tacos, burritos, bowls, etc.) and they'll assemble it in front of you with all the ingredients you want. The prices are reasonable and the food is fresh. Every time I've gone the service has been friendly and fast too. If you aren't looking to bring your food to go, theres a number of booths to choose from if you want to stay in and eat. For food I've tried several items including the burrito, taco salad, and bowl. If you're a vegetarian they have beans as a protein option--along with all of the traditional goodies like veggies, guac, pico de gallo and more. It's hard to say any burrito place is that much better than any other burrito place but this one is locally owned vs. the big franchises and a bit cheaper. The churros are pretty good too. I have been to many Mexican restaurants and have Mexican heritage. Tried last night for first time and am completely surprised with high ratings. This is glorified takeout place. Food was below average and certainly less fresh than chipotle. The volume of chipotle ensures freshness for most part. Good two burrito bowls and Mexican corn. This spot is absolutely amazing, saw the reviews on Yelp and I had to try it out after a hike in the Franklin forest and wow it didn't disappoint. This was honestly one of the best bowls I have ever had & blows away chipotle. Love supporting small businesses and trying new spots. When we called on the third time to inquire, were were simply told that they "checked" and that it was "correct before they wrapped it up". Though the workers looked at me like I was confused which I was, this was exactly what I expected and more. My burrito was as tall as my head and bigger then my bicep and was one of the best burritos I've ever eaten. I got a mango smoothie with it and it was such a natural mango flavor I was blown away.
