I and my boyfriend came to SantaFe 4 times already. Pretty good experiences!!! I live in other state , just come to this town to see my bf. So he suggested me this is the best restaurant in town, so I can try steak and drinks. I love the decorating and love food and cocktails there also. The 4th time we came, I forgot my id so Bartender didn't let me drink alcohol but lucky my bf's house is very close to there so he can come home and take it over LoL. I wish bartender can remember my face so next time when I come again I can try all of cocktail you have :-D of course me and my bf family love this restaurant. We will comeback for dinner some time. The food is decent depending on who's cooking that day. The wait staff is just terrible. They do not check on you, smile, or exhibit common courtesy you would expect from a restaurant. Asking for something is as bad as insulting them to their face given the smart comments and hateful face they make. Undertrained college kids who are not being managed effectively. read more

Have always had amazing service here. They get pretty busy when 6-6:30 rolls around so be patient if this is when you are expecting to eat. The food is yummy and the bar drinks are strong. Ask for some rolls and I promise you will fall in love. read more

Long wait to be seated and don't believe you will get seated in the order you come in. The hostess just seemed lost at her job. Many years ago I had a hostess job it's not brain surgery. Once we got seated at a table we watched unoccupied for over 15mins. We got a great waitress, drinks where great and appetizers, but mains was another issue. The kitchen must of forgot what was on the Santa Fe chicken for my husbands was missing the sautéed mushrooms and onions, bacon and honey mustard sauce. It is hard to say we would ever come back. Ordered the Serloin stake and shrimp dinner with green beans and salad. I requested the steak medium rare, it came back twice medium well. The green beans were over cooked mush. On positive note, the waiter was very good, recieving the standard 20 percent tip. (Not his fault, the food was poorly cooked.) For the price this restaurant is over rated. read more

If I could compare this to another restaurant I would compare it to a Texas Roadhouse. When you walk in there will be peanut shells on the floor, stuffed wild life on the ceiling and horseshoes on the walk way. The food is pretty good! The server recommended the steak, so I gave the Bubba's Sirloin a shot and it has some great flavor. You'll get to pick two sides and beware if you ask for mashed potatoes and gravy they will ask if you want white or brown gravy-so do your homework if you're not familiar with this! read more

If you're looking for a good Steakhouse that is clean has great service this is not the place that you want to eat I've tried it twice and those times have left disappointed in the extreme. The service is bad slow even when the restaurant is slow and there's hardly any patrons there the tables and the walls and the floors are a chewed up dirty grimy mess the entire interior of this restaurant needs to be bleach sand-blasted and cleaned out and redone. If you are looking for a hole in the wall type feeling this would be perfect place for you are blue that we were originally set at smelled bad, I mean like dead rodent bad. Every waitress here has Down Syndrome. Your order will take 245964237 years and be wrong. All the food will be cold and taste old and all of your meat will be cooked to the wrong temperature. I ordered cheese sticks and had to send them back to be fried more, because they still had ice crystals when they got to me. I love the way this restaurant is decorated. I never thought I'd eat around taxidermy animals but they are actually cute and there are funny signs everywhere. The chicken fried steak was good and big enough for 2 people. The 16 oz rib-eye my cousin ordered was "delicious and cooked just right". The rolls were either overcooked and hard or undercooked and gooey. There was a wait @ 6pm on a Thursday and the hostess was rude and got our groups name wrong causing confusion and a longer wait. Peanuts when you enter, shells on the floor, servers gathering around a table to scream about birthday and a hostest that wants to seat you at the bar high tops for a sit down dinner. The server had to come back to the table three times before she got the order right. Nothing orignal here and the food was a little above average. We ran out of drinks and had to wait a good while before getting a refill. Our waitress was not good she was to busy chatting with other employees to wait on us. My family went for dinner and granted there were 16 of us. However, they only gave us one server. All of the tables around us were served and one table had two sets of customers who ate and left. It was well over an hour before we were served and the hot foods were cold when we got them. Every time that we eat at this restaurant we have a bad experience, but we only come to Ada so often and we give them the benefit of the doubt and try them again every once in a while. This time took the cake and we will not be going back. Our waitress was okay at first, she just wasn't very attentive. Our visit took a turn for the worst when we got our food. Two people in our party ordered a steak medium rare and after one bite realized they were very well done and my burger bun was charred black. We are not one to complain usually, but my friend's steak was very dry and almost inedible. After waiting for quite a while for our waitress to come to check on us we told her about only one of the steaks being over cooked. She immediately said okay let me tell my manager and asked how our ticket would be split and walked away. She did not apologize or anything. A few minutes later a man came up to our table and just stood there. After an awkward minute we assumed he was the manager and repeated the issue with the steak. He immediately said okay we will give you a discount and walked away. We were satisfied, we assumed they would take half off or something. No. The waitress came back and said okay we can only give you a small discount because half of your steak was eaten. We were shocked at how rude she was. There had only been one bite eaten from the 6oz steak. We paid and left because we were just over the situation. We will not be going back. read more

We came in to eat about 3:30 p.m on a Friday to eat a late lunch. There was just a handful of people in the restaurant. We were sat at a back table and promptly forgotten about. I had to go up front and ask for a waitress. It then took at least 30 minutes to get our meal. I had pulled pork nachos. I was told they were made wrong the first time, so they remade them. When I got them they were stone cold. There may have been a tablespoon of meat on the nachos. So gross. The meat was chewy and did not have a good flavor. My husband and daughter got the pulled pork sandwiches and they didn't like theirs either. This is the second time in a month I have ate at this restaurant and the service has been so bad. We had a baby who needed a high chair and they set us at a tall booth and stacked two high chairs together to put our baby in?! I ate here last night May 11th 2017 for the first and probably last time. We arrived as a very large party which I understand can be a challenge. They ended up having to seat us with the large party at a large table and then split four of us off into a booth not a big deal I understand it was busy. However where the night started to turn sour was when they seated us at a dirty booth complete with used bread and butter platters that we're dirty and a dirty dish rag. When the server arrived she made a joke about the dirty dishes but did not remove them. My Wife and I ordered the queso for a starter then each ordered an entree ( I ordered the Texas Wrap). When the queso eventually arrived the chips were exceptionally stale and some were even soggy we tried to complain however while the main table seemed to frequently have a server we rarely did and eventually got hungry enough we suffered through the stale soggy chips and queso that instead of being ripped with meat was topped with grease and a few flecks of what I assume was beef. When the server brought my brother in law his salad she asked who it belonged to my brother in law raised his hand and said it was his while my Wife pointed at him the server responded by giving him a dubious look and sitting the salad out of his reach and consulting​ her note pad as if he was lying which offended all of us. I understand that perhaps sometimes people do lie but the key to that situation we've been handling it with some level of class rather than insulting us. It was at this point that the server remarked something about the dirty roll containers that were still on the table at this point we asked​ if she could remove them and she begrudgingly​ did so however we would spend the rest of our meal with a dirty dish rag on our dirty table. The food probably would have been good had it been warm rather I was served my entree (the Texas Wrap) Luke warm at best and soggy. read more

This past Friday I called an order in to this restaurant, We called in two dinners and was told it would take 35-40 minutes to prepare. When we arrived the signage for the carry out said to simply wait in car and someone would be right out. After about 5 minutes I called and was told that they were sorry but they did not see me in the camera. An employee brought the food out and we paid. Once I arrived home I noticed that the sacks were very light. I did not handle the sacks when order was picked up, my husband did. Sure enough, all of the order was not there. What was there was cold and terrible. I called and they said I could come back and they would give me the food I was missing and a free dessert. I lived a few miles outside of town so I was unwilling to do this. Plus, if the food they were going to give me tasted like the food I picked up it would have been a wasted trip anyway. I felt like I took $35 and just threw it in the garbage. I will not be back to the establishment. read more

Came here to get a steak and a beer. So I sat at the bar. Better hope you don't show up when the regulars do. I sat here mostly ignored. The guy next to me is on his second helping of 4 rolls and I haven't been offered a single one. My dinner was good though they tried to give it to someone else. I have had a good experience everytime I have at Santa Fe. The few complaints I ever had were related to new waiters that were learning their job. I'm always greeted with a smile, and the wait staff is friendly. Restaurant always clean (minus the peanut shells, lol). All in all, good place with friendly faces! read more
