I'm currently living in Las Vegas, NV. The man at the front desk advised my sister, she needs a deposit of a $100.00. I called 719-543-6530 the gentlemen was so rude "Saying I can charge $100.00 or $200.00 whatever I want" then hung up the call. I called back and the man refused to take my card for the deposit and refused my business after I paid $89.80. He basically told me " Call Travelocity to cancel" then hung up the phone. The room we rented was extremely hot. Hot in comparison to outside, was about 86-88 degrees even at night. Employees denied a refund, and offered another room, but the other room smelt completely of cigarettes. The only actual solution offered to us was 2 fans to put in the room. The deal breaker was seeing a roach in the bathroom. Do not come to this place unless you want to have a heat stroke in the room, and to see roaches coming from the vent. read more

Home, sweet Home. I don't just mean that I am happy to be back in Pueblo, though I really am. But I also spent a month living at the Santa Fe Inn when I first got to Pueblo in 2015. The place has progressed quite nicely. The woman at the front desk was super nice. The room was clean and fresh. There was a flat screen tv. All of these were huge improvements from my last stay. They have smoking rooms and deity bless them for being one of the last bastions of civilizations. They also have a pool, which is clean and sparkly. There is vending and laundry available. And it's a good location for the money. Depending on your definition of walking distance, you can walk to the park or downtown or even the Riverwalk. If you are coming to Pueblo, and I highly suggest you do, I would recommend staying at the Santa Fe Inn. It's way less expensive than any place that I would recommend. read more

One of the worse motels I have ever stayed in, I was so grateful that I brought my sleeping bag. The sheets were stained and I found a few bugs in the room and on the bed. I was exhausted from jet lag to a trip to a 3rd world country and driving back to New Mexico and this prepped me perfectly for this experience as I was acclimated to sleeping in dirty unkept places. Pueblo is a crappy place in general, but I was hoping for a decent nights sleep. I left as early as I could, and I would highly recommend staying anywhere but here. read more

Do Not Stay Here!! Last minute booking based on their online photos and descriptions, and the booking agent. Arrived 10 minutes later and was shocked at how terrible it looked. Sketchy people hanging around, exterior looked dirty and tired, parking area had pot holes and messy. We didn't feel safe and told the floor clerk so and that we would not stay. I will NEVER stay here again or recommend this Hotel to ANYONE. As soon as we arrived our room was dirty and we seen what we thought were ants so we called the front desk. The guy working was nice and moved us to what we thought was a better room. After getting off work we went to the room and it was literally crawling with cockroaches so bad even the dog wouldn't sleep in it. We took videos and pictures of them and the front desk acted like it wasn't their problem and tried their hardest to put us in a different room which didn't happen, now we're fighting with them for a refund and not to mention we didn't feel safe or comfortable and all the cops and ambulances that showed up in not even a 12 hour period. This place is a dump. I originally booked via Bookings.com, the photos and description that this hotel has on Bookings.com are totally false and misleading! I recently checked in an had to wait 20 minutes for the "front desk guy" to appear. Mind you this place checks in via a window, I felt like I was at shady gas station while checking in. The guy was rude which should have tipped me off. The 2 cops that were responding to a "domestic disturbance" during my 20 minute wait should have also tipped me off, but I was too naive I guess. Also, all of the "guests" staying at the hotel are monthly customers and I'm pretty sure they had people camping in their cars in the hotel's parking lot. So finally after 25 minutes from arriving I walked up to my room and was shocked by how dirty, run down, smelly and old the room appeared. The A/C wasn't working so they had one of those cheap, roll-away A/C units attempting to cool the room and the exhaust was tapped to some carboard contraption on the window which faced the public balcony. Basically anyone could access this room by simply tearing the cardboard, sliding the window open and simply hopping into the front window. I immediately walked out of the room and cancelled online. I asked for a refund or at least a partial refund and fully explained the situation to both the hotel and to Bookings.com. Bookings.com offered a pathetic $25 credit. I will never use Bookings.com again, please stick to using Hotels.com because I had a similar situation happen with Hotels.com and they fully reimbursed me. Do not stay at the Santa Fe Inn! I honestly would rather be homeless. If I didn't have my child with me I would have just slept in my car. This place is repulsive and hazardous to anyone here. I want my money back as I couldn't stand a second night of hearing the drug dealer in the room next to me yelling and hurting someone because they couldn't pay him. I feel like I need to bleach my skin! Images on the website are definitely false advertising. The staff says the hotel is undergoing renovation, however I honestly doubt that it will ever look as nice as the website says. This place should be condemned for its own safety. I booked for the 15-22 of March 2020 and checked out the 16th because the place was just that repulsive. And sadly I can't get my money back due to booking through a third party company. So there was a good bit of our money down the drain because we had to pay for this shit hole, and then a real hotel. I also had to buy cleaning products, for the room because clearly they don't have a cleaning staff that knows how to clean properly. We had to go through two rooms at this place. First one was terrifying. Someone destroyed the smoke alarm, there was exposed wiring all over the place, bugs in the beds, and despite signs being posted all over about smoking and drugs and all that, it was clear this place was definitely not really concerned so long as they get their money. So I helped some friends get a hotel and we finally came across Santa Fe inn. It was a good price so we booked it and checked in. Well we were told at first we had to wait until 3:00pm and it was like 2:10pm. Because we were told the staff had to make sure it was clean and ready to go. Which we were pleased with because my friends have a 5 year old and an 8 month old that crawls all over the floor. We checked in at 3:00pm and as soon as we walked into the room we were hit with a horrible smell. Next I went to the drawer to get a pen and there was broken glass in the drawer which we figured out was some kind of pipe for drugs. That same drawer was so dirty, so we started looking around and we noticed the bathroom was dirty, especially the tub. My friend started to clean the floor with a white rag and that rag was nowhere near white after he was done, under the bed was just completely disgusting!! The refrigerator had old crumbs and stains from what looked like juice. It was bad!! It was so obvious it hadn't been cleaned after the last customers and under the bed and the floor couldn't have been cleaned for weeks. with covid-19 being so contagious, spreading so quick in Pueblo, and with it not just being recommended but also very much required that businesses clean and sterilize every inch of the business you would think the santa Fe inn would not be renting rooms like this. When my friend called and complained he was told to either check out without a refund or deal with it, the staff did not even offer to come clean the room or give my friends a new room. So I just want to get it out there that this is what my friends delt with and could have been so dangerous. I was absolutely disgusted by the condition of the room and even more disgusted by how the staff handled the situation!!! read more

Well unfortunately this place is a tweekers paradise. Roaches, little kids under 5 running in the parking lot. Right on the counter where are you check-in there is a list of rules and in big bold letters it says no marijuana smoking allowed on these premises. I literally seen this happen. And the crazy thing is when I book my rooms on Expedia the pictures don't match nothing to my experience or room. Had a very bad experience this past Labor Day weekend. Guy at service desk through a window was very rude to my mother. Said didn't have our reservations and told us to call the phone number we had made the reservation with. When I called the number which it was the hotel was told to stop harassing them and go away. I tried to tell him that we didn't use any third party and he would hear it and hung up the phone. Were nice taking money from 77 year old women when making the reservation but awful when arriving to get the room. read more

Only place that was affordable last minute traveling 900 miles from home , wouldn't recommend it though. Made reservations online on there website , discount was given, website says with the pandemic going on that they are keeping hotel sanitized which I highly doubt with it smelling old and Dusty. Laundry facility was permanently closed ,room service isn't given (was told to go to the office and ask for vacuum to do it myself ), toilet was clogged (told to fix it myself ) so had to by draino and plunger...I think I'm better off sleeping in my car if it weren't for the slow free wifi read more

For a motel this place was beyond what we expected. The king room was so clean and the restroom was super clean as well. We weren't hoping for much but goodness gracious this room was big. Beds were white as snow and clean and comfy. Staff was accommodating and so nice. They have a small fitness center laundry and pool. Great place to stay! I will return again. read more

I would not recommend this hotel. They state 'a no smoking room'- have you initial and will charge you if you smoke in the room. I get to the room and it stunk like cigarettes! The man at the window was nice enough to 'upgrade' me, the next room did not stink like cigarettes. However, the table was dirty- dried on liquid (the flies loved it)...and you guys there was a cockroach or two (probably millions) in the bathroom. I simply squished them and told myself never again. Front desk help was nice but not much else. The maid "sue" pilfered in our stuff when we went to dinner and despite claims she freshly cleaned the room there was urine on the toilet seat and bathroom floor. Also the older heater had exposed wiring and went off in the middle of the night in winter with an infant in the room. Not cool. I wish I could give this dumpster a minus star. This place is a nightmare and should be shut down. First off, the website is total false advertisment. The place looks like a meth addict convention center. There is no breakfast and the room heater didn't work in our room ( 27F outside back in april). The desk person is psycho ( Sandra) Gave us a room with defective keys 3 times and refused to help us at 11pm at night saying it was our problem and that she couldn't leave the front desk. ( she was pissed because we interrupted her little netflix movie) . Place smells like scum, beds are horrible and there are roaches in the bathroom. The manager was another story...basically told us to deal with it. The only reason we decided to stop was bc the place looked so nice in the website. When we told the manager she said ' um yeah. We need to update the website', sorry about that. What kinda explanation is that! People talking outside our room at 3am, a prostitute in the hallway looking for clients.
