Food- Burgers and Sandwiches are probably the go to. The burgers are pretty big and way better than most bars. I personally like the build your own burgers to get exactly what you want, but their premade special ones are also fantastic. However the sandwiches are the showstoppers. From the Nashville Hot to the Tri Tip... they have fantastic options. Beers- Big Dogs always has good beers and on occasions they have some special ones that you think about years later. So my suggestion ask the bartender about some of their special beers. Some are truly one of a kind you'll wish you could have over and over. Happy Hour has some great beer specials too! Environment- This is where it gets tricky. The tap room is a 5 star. Always amazing bartenders who are so knowledgeable and make you want to come back. The Bar side is quite different. It is typically Smokey and the bartenders tend to be more focused on the gamblers and regulars. The patio also is a much different vibe from both the tap room and the bar. So you could have 3 completely different experiences depending on where you sit. Happy to have moved closer to here as it's always a good options!

The vibe is always on point--lively, inviting, and just the right balance of upscale and relaxed. The cocktails are nothing short of exceptional--creative, beautifully crafted, and packed with flavor. I tried two new ones this visit: a stunning pink cocktail with rum, coconut milk, and passionfruit that was both refreshing and indulgent, and a tequila-based cocktail topped with a rich, velvety cheesecake foam--completely unexpected and absolutely unforgettable. The food? Phenomenal. The lamb chops were incredibly tender and full of flavor, finished with a subtle Indian-inspired flair that elevated the dish. The crab lettuce wraps were a standout as well--light, fresh, and generously loaded with crab in every bite. My husband ordered their house-brewed rice beer, and it was just as impressive--smooth, crisp, and the perfect complement to the meal. Every visit here feels like discovering it all over again. If you're looking for a place that delivers on both food and experience, this one is not to be missed.

We walked in and it wasn't busy. Perfect!!! We sat down and reviewed the menu. There's regular tables and lounge seating available. Nice bar.. Food: Wings on HH (It came with 5 Wings) Honey Sriracha Tikka Masala Bowl Plain Naan Bread Our mistake for sitting on the lounge chairs. It was hard to eat. The Tikka Masala was delicious and so was the Naan Bread. The wings were ok. I ate one. I wouldn't order that again. The curry was delicious. The server didn't know I'd they had yogurt or raita. She said they had a lemon sauce. Regardless, wr got the raita. Overall, great spot. This time around i didn't drink but next time I will have a beverage.

We love the outdoor seating area. Basically all their food offerings are Mexican. We had guacamole and chips, salsa and chips, tacos and Mexican style corn. The tacos are street style served on yellow corn tortillas, which I love instead of the white corn tortillas. The guacamole tasted freshly made and I enjoyed the green salsa option. Unlike other places that only offer red salsa. It's a great place to go enjoy some tap house beers, and just chill for awhile.

I like the concept of a taproom and kitchen brought to you by the local Mexican-American community. Couldn't have picked a better venue to watch Mexico vs. USA in the 2026 World Baseball Classic. Most of the patrons were there for the same reason, which made it more fun to watch. Weather was perfect to spectate in the patio, along with the bulk of patrons that evening. The game was showing on all screens, so we didn't miss any of the action whenever we needed to go inside to order from the bar. We loved the Chips & Salsa, SVZ Burrito (with Bang Bang Cauliflower, No Cheese, No Sour Cream), and Churro Fries for dessert. For craft beer, I enjoyed a flight of four five-ounce tasters, followed by the Mocha Machine imperial porter. Jose V. provided excellent service, taking orders from the bar, and bringing food to the tables. He was always friendly, helpful, and prompt.

There is a small, cozy bar on one side and the dining room across from it along with a fun merchandise section. They offer both Sicilian and New York style pizzas. While eating you get the chance to look around and see comic book type art on the walls depicting space fighting. It's basically an entire loaf of amazingly light and fluffy focaccia bread with pizza toppings; it could easily feed a whole family! Love that they were playing early 2000's alternative music which matched the ambience. The only issue I've seen in this place is they seem to over work their servers. We came in on Father's Day and there was only one server and no busser to even help her, so she was serving, bussing, and placing/putting together/sending out to go orders. She was a great server and had it under control, but also the service could have been even better if they get some more help in there. Can't wait to keep coming back!

The weather was perfect, making it an ideal setting to celebrate two cherished occasions (Mom's heavenly birthday and our parents' anniversary). John enjoyed the Prime Rib French Dip (slow-roasted prime ribeye, caramelized onions on toasted bun), while I had an amazing Ahi Tuna Wrap (ahi tuna, Asian slaw, wasabi aioli & spring mix served on a flour tortilla) with sweet potatoes fries. Brando was in his element, soaking up the fresh air and making a new friend, Kage the Doberman. Tails wagged, barks were shared, and memories and gratitude filled the table. It was a night of good food, good company, and loving remembrance...a fitting tribute to Mom and Dad in our hearts forever. Great service by Alix who kept Brando's waterbowl filled and an endless supply of ice cookies.

Hence, the entire draft selection at all of their locations consists of craft beers made by independent breweries. The centerpiece of this location at Tenaya is the impressive selection of 50 rotating craft beers on tap. This includes plenty of strong beers for hardcore craft beer enthusiasts like myself. Now, it also includes beers made by the newest location in their family, Evolve Brewing. The size of the location is also impressive. It is divided into a gaming tavern (with ashtrays and video poker machines on the bar), beerhall sports bar, outdoor patio, and private event space. To me, the most unique item on their food menu--and its claim to fame--is the Eddie Spaghetti pizza. As Aces & Ales has evolved--no pun intended--the business has placed more emphasis on its food menu. Historically, their kitchen was secondary to their draft selection. Now, the business wants to be a restaurant first, and taproom second. Upon being seated, you are handed oversize food menus with heavy lamination (as done at their Evolve Brewing location at The Bend). These overshadow the single beer menu provided separately on a smaller sheet of paper. The server is trained to use scripted language to further induce you to order food. In other words, it's not the kind of place you can come for a beer without being expected to order food. Though, that is what the name of the business implies. I'm okay with the concept of the restaurant being primary, and the craft beers secondary. As long as this is reflected in the business name. For example, why not call it, "Aces & Ales Tavern, Restaurant & Taproom"? Similarly, "Evolve Restaurant & Brewery"? Another surprise during my most recent visit came after paying my bill by credit card. The server returned with a receipt that included a 2.99% "credit card surcharge." First of all, why is it not rounded to the 3% that it really is? Secondly, this is not a typical fee charged by restaurants. Therefore, shouldn't it be disclosed to customers before accepting their credit card? Furthermore, does this lack of transparency have the potential to discourage repeat business? Or, more frequent business from regular customers?
