Although this pizza place has pretty good reviews through Google and yelp right now, it is definitely not worth 4.6 stars. The pizza was probably a five out of 10 and the wings were probably a four out of 10. The Greek salad was Good, probably a eight out of 10. We Ordered an extra large pizza and it was extremely floppy. There were also very few olives included and they tasted like they came out of a can and we're not fresh. The biggest disappointment were the wings. I ordered two different flavors of wings and when I received them, they came in a tin can with all wings put together at once and they combined both of the sauces together in this big soupy mess. It was about 1 inch of grease and sauce Bathing over the wings. The quality of the meat for the wings was decent, but the flavoring was all wrong. Overall, the food was sustenance and nothing more. We won't be getting this again, but it wasn't the worst thing in the world. Try it if you want. read more

Husband and wife team that really care what you think. we were there in the middle of the day, this gave is time to talk with Sal and Maria, nice people! we started with the calamari cooked to golden perfection. next we have a cheese pizza, it was in the top 3 or 4 we have tried. good crust, tasty sauce and good cheese. wished we lived closer, the sandwiches and calzones also looked great. read more

Almost walked out when I saw the dated decor and our drinks were served in bottles but we ordered food regardless of our first impressions I had a Greek salad with a fettuccine Alfredo, and my girlfriend had baked ziti we were very happy with the quality and the taste of the food I guess it's true you cannt always judge a book by its cover. read more

Horrible customer service. Only 1 star because I never got a chance to try any of the shrimp parmesan I ordered for a coworker's retirement party at the Punta Gorda Airport. We normally order pizzas and subs and they're always great. So I was SO disappointed when I called in an order to feed 10 people and instead got enough to only feed 4. When I called to tell them I wasn't happy, I was told repeatedly that I should've ordered more & I should've known a 1/2 tray only feeds 6-8. (I never requested a tray-I said I needed to feed 10 people.) Bad form putting blame on the customer but thanks for the apology. Still upset no offer to work with me in buying something else to feed the rest that didn't eat. Real family business, really from NY, really doing it right! True NY-Style food, made on-site bread & mozzarella, desserts flown in from NY, daily specials you'll never question, & a GREAT STAFF. I'm a mid-western pizza guy (that means both square-cut and deep-dish) and I've been inundated with NY-style this & that down here forever. However, the Special Stromboli is the closest thing to the pizza I grew up on in Rockford, IL. You can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches. A Caprese salad made from local tomatoes and mozzarella that is made in-house! I love supporting private industry; even more so, a family business (1 father, 2 sons + fiancées + ...), But a family business doing it right gets full street-cred in my book. Bonus points for closing on Sundays; a family must rest to do a job well. read more

Great food!! My husband works near here and eats there with his coworkers often and today I met him for lunch and I got to try a little of everything. Pizza was good but the calzone was amazing!!! The calzone was so large and delicious!! Also we had cannolis that were great!!! I'm from Boston and am very partial to mikes pastries and have had a hard time finding good if not great cannolis since I moved to FL and I finally found the place! By far, the best pizza in SW Florida! You'll swear you're eating pizza in NYC or Jersey. I get my weekly pizza fix here and I'm happy. The crust is perfect. I always get the cheese slices. I've always thought the pizza was sub-par, the crust just isn't very good. The reason for 2 stars is because we had been ordering pizzas and calzones but I was always disappointed. I asked to have a pizza sub made, due to not liking their regular crust, and after the order taker asked the manager or owner they came back with a big NO. So I told the wife (who was ordering) to cancel the rest of the order and haven't ordered since. Another restaurant that doesn't put the customer first.
