This place is ridiculous. I order a cali burrito with everything on it. It honestly was the smallest burrito I've ever had. Simular to a burrito supreme from taco bell. I had soggy french fries that were probably sitting around for a while. My guacamole and sour cream were on one side of the burrito only. I had to open it and spread as much as I can to make it even across. They're prices are ridiculous. my second visit here sucked...waited in the drive thru for over 30 mins, the only reason we didn't leave was because we were boxed in by the other cars, when we got up to the window the guy apologized for the wait and gave us a free drink which was cool but when we got home the food was over cooked, greasy and cold. The food is good... but make sure you double check to make sure your order is correct! The drive thru customer service is horrible. The girl that works the window is always very rude and ALWAYS messes up our orders somehow. Missing food and/or drinks, food prepared incorrectly, ect. I bought two carne asada burritos today.... I paid 17 plus dollars and I live less than 5 minutes away from the restaurant and both burritos which were the size of a small water bottle were ICE COLD when I got home !!!!!!!!I will NEVER buy anything from this establishment again! The fish tacos are pretty good. The beans and rice are just ok. The rolled tacos are just ok as well. Its very close by, but I think next time I will try the others near the same area to see what I like best. I will definately give this place another try with the suggestions others have made. Literally just left the drive thru 20 minutes ago service was crappy the little boy running the drive thru didn't greet me took him forever just to take my order. He gave me just a little bit of hot sauce then as soon as he hands me my bag he shuts the window and walks away not even giving me a chance to tell him he never gave me my drink that comes with every combo. I get home and my beans are cold like they have been sitting for awhile and the cheese wasn't even melted on the beans so I know they served me cold food. I think this place has the best carne asada burrito in this area. I always ask for extra hot sauce and they employees there are always generous about that. The carne chips are ok. This Santanas is somewhat connected with the other Santanas but seems to be the red-headed step child of the bunch. For some reason it is not associated with the others(not listed on the map of other recognized Santanas). Also, this Santanas did not change the name to MXN. But you can tell it is the same because the menu is identical; as well as the fries, tortillas, and sauces available are similar. I am guessing this maybe a brother or an uncles store of the families. I love this Santanas the most because it is identical to the old school Santanas I grew up with...not the new changed style. The prices at this location stayed cheap for a long time(I believe they are still cheaper then the main stream Santanas/MXN). They have more traditional plates located here that are not found in the others(ie Menudo and such). Also the portions are old school, they PACK IT ON! I notice over the years the main stream Santanas/MXN joints are starting to skimp on their portions. Gotta love this Santanas...it maintains the old school Mexican joint vibe...nothing has changed and it is the same as it was since the early 90s. read more

I eat here almost every week. The food is better than most Mexican fast food restaurants. The problem is with their service. It has really gotten bad lately. They have a newer girl that takes your order and she is not polite and always looks like she is either ticked off or ready to cry. Doesn't make for a pleasant experience. The manager should know better. Put someone with a smiling face on your counter and customers will appreciate that. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE! First arrived thru the drive thru there was a long line I understood because it was during lunch time took about 15 mins for the lady to take my order was telling my order and the lady rushed me through my order and told me okay that's it and pull through even tho I wasn't finished with my order I ordered rice inside my burrito and it was put on the side I ordered three orders of peppers and green onions and she only gave me one I told her I needed two more and she gave me and attitude and told me to go park and get it I got out waiting for my order and she had me waiting while taking everyone's else's order and gave me an attitude and told me to just take them and not pay.. I was already irritated because she didn't give me the Sprite I ordered and charged me for it as well but didn't wanna ask her because she already had an attitude.. Actually the food is pretty good, but the INCONSISTENCY in prices and the cost compared to La Posta down the street is a real downer. You have to know when to order and who's working to get the right deal.They don't care, they have the drive thru and they're open later than La Posta. I live close to Santanas and have eaten there for about 5 years. Tonight my wife went and brought home dinner for the family. I got a California burrito and traded my son half of mine for half of his bean burrito. About midway through my California burrito, I chomped down on something rock hard. I pulled it out of my mouth and it was a steel wing nut! The thing was about 1 inch across. Thank god my son didn't get that half. Anyways, I drove back to the restaurant and showed the girl at the counter. She said something about it falling in the potatoes and knew exactly where it had come from. This leads me to believe they saw it fall in the food but decided to serve the food anyway when they couldn't find it. She recognized it the second i showed her. All she said was sorry. I had to ask for the managers number which does not seem to work. Now i will spend the rest of the night pissed off, hungry, and with a sore tooth. I am going to see a dentist and send them a bill for the day of missed work. I wish I could post a pic of the nut. If they will leave a hunk of metal in your food, god knows what else they let slip in. I am forced to give them at least 1 star in order to post, not by choice. read more

The food is decent depending on how hungry you are. Prices are fair. My family and I order from here every now and then because their carne asada fries are better than Sarita's. However Sarita's has them beat in so many other aspects--namely customer service. I understand that working a drive thru while catering to customers who order inside can be pretty hectic, but there is absolutely no excuse for being rude to customers--especially when your job is PRIMARILY customer service. Normally I don't have a problem--they can be slow sometimes but I don't mind it. This morning, I ordered a Buenos Dias breakfast burrito (which was good) and I waited in the drive thru (with just one car ahead of me and hardly anyone else at the store) for like fifteen minutes. When I got to the window I got no greeting. The cashier (Diana) gave me my total and I was having some trouble handing her the cash because I was trying not to drop any coins and she looked annoyed the whole time. A minute later she just handed me my burrito and glared at me and just turned away after I said "thanks". I have to say, there's something wrong with how you're doing your job if the customer is nicer to you than you are to them. I'm giving them three stars because they haven't disappointed any other time, but today's experience warranted 0/5. read more
