Buffet breakfast this morning was terrific

The Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor is in a perfect location if you are flying in and out of Logan airport or doing business in East Boston. Sited perfectly next to the airport, though you cannot hear the airplanes from inside the hotel. This hotel also has a great restaurant called the Harborside Grill with some of the best clam chowder you will ever eat. This is an outstanding restaurant and hotel with staff that are helpful and very pleasant to be around. Gorgeous place next to Boston Harbor.

This place has stunning room views of the harbor and great customer service. Every associate from check in to the restaurant were so friendly and helpful! Rooms are pristinely clean. They also have a free shuttle to and from the airport. The Harborside Grill and Payio is the restaurant on site and the meals were perfection. I'll stay again on future Boston trips!

We had a really pleasant stay here. The staff was kind and welcoming, even during a busy event weekend! The hotel is a little dated in the rooms but clean throughout and with a modern lobby that has amazing views of the harbor - breathtaking when you walk in! The room we had was comfy and the harbor view was incredible, such a peaceful and inviting feature. Public transit really made it easier to manage the location too, since it was a little bit of a journey to downtown (but super easy to get to the airport!) we'd definitely stay here again!

After spending all of my rewards points for this hotel (equivalent to $375!), I was mortified by what I saw. The joker working the customer service desk was severely unprofessional, slouched, kept typing on his computer not even acknowledging me, didn't even bother looking up when he said "ID and credit card!" I walked up, said "Hi, how's it going?" He completely ignored me, handed my ID back, and handed me the credit card and told me to scan it. It was "declined" for some reason and he did it again himself which left me with 2 temporary holds. Thankfully my credit card dropped one of the holds. The hotel was dirty, smelled bad, and my room had peeling paint in the bathroom, the shower door didn't close completely so water got all over the floor - and the lighting was awful. People really pay $375 for a room like this?! I pay $150 for 10 times better and YES even at airports. I travel a lot for work, and leisure so I'm not new at this. Which is also why I had 40,000 points to spend. My daughter came with me on this trip and she pulled down her sheets and saw what looks like blood on them. We were so exhausted from traveling since 3am, she just came over to my bed to sleep after seeing this. I am not happy about this, and truly do wish I can just have my points back due to this. The hotel has no pool, either. It's mostly a pilot, flight attendant, business hotel with no extras. Sad. Disappointed. And broke.

We stayed here for one night before our flight. Check-in was smooth, although the front desk staff forgot to give us our free clam chowder tokens, which I had to pick up later. The beds were comfortable, and our room had a great view overlooking the runway -- a really cool touch. The airport shuttle was convenient, running every 20-30 minutes and taking about 10-15 minutes to reach the airport. We tried a burger from the restaurant, which was decent. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

I attended a conference hosted here (did not stay in the rooms here) and was BLOWN AWAY by the food served at lunch. It was Mediterranean-style and every single dish, from the roasted salmon to chickpea soup to variety of salads, was delicious and felt healthy. I've hosted and attended many conferences at hotels before and I know that isn't always the case, so I'm particularly impressed!

I have started staying in Hyatt more frequently and this did not disappoint. Easy check-in Clean ,well appointed, & comfortable room Helpful staff Fair price on this visit Easy parking Location very close to airport After 10 years of Hilton diamond, I really don't see any value in the Hilton program. Hyatt generally has nicer properties and for similar price I think I'll start staying in these hotels for frequently.

Did someone say great views, easy airport access, and only ten minutes from downtown Boston? I absolutely loved my stay at the Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor. The location is unbeatable, sitting right on the water with postcard-worthy skyline views and a peaceful atmosphere that feels miles away from city noise. I needed a hotel close to downtown that also offered a reliable airport shuttle, and this one delivered. The shuttle runs every 20 minutes, which made my travel plans effortless. The hotel itself is beautiful, with spacious rooms and stunning views of Boston that set the tone for my weekend meeting. The service here truly stands out. Every staff member I encountered was professional, kind, and eager to help. The on-site restaurant is excellent, and you cannot skip the clam chowder. It is one of the best I have had in the city. The gym is also impressive and has more machines than most hotels in Boston. The Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor is a game changer, and staying here is a choice you will never regret.

The Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor is my favorite airport hotel in Boston. The views of the harbor and the city skyline are unbeatable--so much better than staying in the middle of the city, in my opinion. They've got regular shuttles to and from the airport, which makes it super convenient, and the rooms are clean and have everything you need. Gym is good. Breakfast is solid too, which is always a plus. If you're looking for a reliable spot with great views, this is it.

Some minor issues like there is some small holes in the bathroom. Had issue with the shade going up and down and had issue changing channels. They give you $10 dinner credit but you must use it by 10 pm and it's only for dinner. After that, you can't use it. they give you clam chowder token chip to redeem at the restaurant but you must get it before 10 pm and you can't not get it before noon the next day so all these redemption options are limited.

This hotel property is AWESOME! The location is right at the Boston airport and the view of the harbor is beautiful. Equally important is the staff. Always cheerful and willing to do what they can for great customer service. And while I'm at it the onsite restaurant Harborside Grill is better than the average hotel restaurant. It serves its purpose well for what it is. I particularly enjoy the egg white omelet as many places do not provide the option to have egg whites. Anyway when I'm traveling to Boston, this is one of my favorite hotels.

The hotel itself is great. I had a beautiful room with an amazing view of the harbor. Room was spacious and clean. Hotel staff were professional but not particularly friendly. The hotel is about a mile from the airport and had a 24 hour shuttle. There is some great outdoor seating right in the harbor and you can take a water taxi into Boston from there. The disappointment is twofold. First I didn't appreciate the $50 destination fee which gave me a whole two bottles of water and a $20 credit if I dined there- excluding alcohol. These add on Fees are misleading- just put them in the actual rate- stop trying to fool people that the place is less expensive than it really is. The restaurant was the big disappointment. Again beautiful view from the table but food and service were disappointing. Our appetizer showed up before we got water or our drinks. My server dropping it off failed to leave plates so we had to hunt those down. I ordered a flight of Sam Adam's beer and the server just put them down and off he went without telling me which beers were what. The roasted onion appetizer filled with spinach and cheese was different and tasted amazing. The margarita pizza we ordered was disappointing to say the least. Very little tomato sauce on the pizza and toppings were tasteless and not very generous. It lacked seasoning and the crust was dry. We will definitely be staying at the hotel again and we will definitely not be going back to the restaurant.

Wow. I haven't stayed in a Hyatt in a long time but I think this will be my new go-to when looking for a hotel chain. Room was great and even though I asked for "harbor view," and we got "runway view," it was really cool. We loved seeing planes taking off during the afternoon while settling in. And - very soundproof - didn't hear any noise from planes. Nice to get a little "destination gift" too but I had to ask ("are these for a wedding or conference?) before the Front Desk offered it to us. I do wish there was an option to make the bathroom and makeup light brighter.

Our bathroom, it has a tub too

Now the area is always busy and non stop traffic, but it was centrally located for the things I wanted to do. I only did ride share for things that were outside of the downtown Boston area or too far to walk with my mom. The hotel is clean, front desk associate Wensley, was always so kind and pleasant whenever I needed something or returned from sight seeing. I was in a premium double queen and OMG, spacious room, barn door bathroom, hardwood flooring, a seating area, view of the greenway, fridge in the room, and an overall very nice and comfortable room. It was enough space for us; we weren't stepping over each other and we used the extra seating area as a changing area when we needed to change for the evening dinners. My only complaint is with housekeeping, the room was rarely cleaned prior to 4pm and we would leave around 9am every day. We only received 2 face towels despite asking for 4. After going to the front desk and asking a note be entered we finally received enough face towels. We couldn't figure out when they would take our bath towels, we put them on the floor they would take them, put them on the rack they would take them. I have always put them on the floor and if on the rack it means I'm using them again. Either way, I did appreciate fresh towels on the days the room would be cleaned prior to our return. Overall the stay was comfortable, the bed and pillows were comfortable and I slept better there than at home. I'm starting to notice a pattern with sleeping away from home....maybe I should stay away from home more often! One thing to note, each floor has an ice and filtered water machine. That was a nice touch and it kept me from having to purchase bottled water and spending extra money for delivery of water.

What was most frustrating was the complete lack of accountability. No one seemed willing to take ownership of the issue or make a genuine effort to resolve it. The front desk staff were consistently rude, dismissive, and unwilling to help. Every interaction felt like an inconvenience to them rather than an opportunity to assist a paying guest. The customer service I received was far below what I would expect from a hotel in this category - As someone who travels 3 to 4 times a month for work and leisure, this was the first hotel in my life where I chose not to leave a tip. Tipping is something I normally do gladly when I receive even a basic level of service, but the attitude and lack of professionalism displayed by the staff made it impossible to justify. The breakfast was also disappointing. Having stayed at other AKA properties, I found the quality significantly lower than the standard I have experienced elsewhere within the brand. The location was another concern. The area around the hotel, particularly the park directly across the street, often felt uncomfortable and poorly maintained. As a solo traveler, I would not have felt comfortable walking around the area alone at night. Between the unresolved billing issue, poor customer service, underwhelming breakfast, and concerns about the surrounding area, this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have had. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this property to others.

That time due to everything going on in the world with minimal travel we enjoyed a cheap rate for an entire weekend with probably the best view offered for the hotel of TD Garden as well as the Leonard P. Zakim Bunker Hill Memorial Bridge. Which I know it's just a bridge but it was a nice sight for an in-city view. This most recent stay was due to a concert at TD Garden my wife and I were in town for. Which I will say if you are looking for a place to stay for an event at TD Garden, good luck finding a better option than here! Check in staff and valet workers were friendly and greeted us with a smile. Rates were very reasonable for end of summer and with a concert so close. Room was smaller this stay around and our view was more of just a building with a small glance of TD Garden if you looked to the side. Overall a very clean room and still a good amount of space. Can not think of any complaints for our stay and would stay here again. They offer valet parking and anytime we needed the car it was quick to get it back. Inside the lobby/first floor they have plenty of seating and what they dub "The Bistro" that offers breakfast, dinner, and full bar and I believe Starbucks drinks too. Location wise it is quite ideal, obviously if your activities/work is in this area of Boston. Besides TD Garden it is also close to North station along with plenty of food and drink options. Personally for a morning coffee or matcha I say check out Blank Street Coffee, then food wise I would say take a quick walk to the North End or closer try Tavern In The Square. Definitely a hotel worth looking into while visiting Boston!

The environment was beautifully decorated for Christmas, like last year, and I had to take some pictures to have as desktop wallpaper on my computer. We had a very nice time and the selections on the menu were impressive. I went with the carrot cake chai black tea, mainly because it had pumpkin pie kinds of spices and vanilla rooibos. It tasted wonderful, like an autumnal tea, and all our teas came in beautifully decorated tea pots, apparently from Australia. The Four Seasons also does this interesting thing where they give you a liquor that fits with your tea order, to be added if you wish or drank by itself. I had a sip of mine and from someone else's, a bit strong for me but a bailey's one was alright. I'm fine with just tea myself! As for the food, this year's high tea was one of the best I've had. The menu was different from last year's, which was great too but in my opinion this seemed like an upgrade. Some of the food items included pieces of salmon in a little pastry, mini lobster roll, peking duck crepe, curried chicken croissant, a beautiful deviled egg, vanilla bean and brown butter scones, an eggnog tart, and a Santa hat shaped raspberry pastry. We even got some alternate options for a lactose sensitive person, so that's a great plus as well. The atmosphere was elegant and calming, and the service was great. The Four Seasons high tea was a very special holiday event, and comes highly recommended!
