I was quoted to kill the tree stump and remove the roots that were growing from a tree I had cut down, for them to level out the soil. They did take out some surface roots, but they did dig down like they were supposed to do. Their job was to kill the tree and its roots I let them know several days , after they did the job and got paid, that I saw Little trees growing still, oh and they also took my shovel. It took forever for them to reply. Has not returned my shovel, and the root of the tree still remain. I feel ripped off, see the photos and judge for yourself. We hired Santibanez Landscaping to put drainage system in our backyard. We were happy at first with the workmanship, then we started questioning the quality of his work. I was totally disappointed with the lack of communication and follow up with Sergio. He would tell us he's coming to do the work at 9:30 am and wouldn't show up until 11:00 am, then leave for lunch at 12:00 pm and not return until after 3:00 pm. We are elderly people and don't know much about drainage problems we hired someone previously to correct the problem and paid a lot of money and the problem wasn't corrected. We explained our concerns to Sergio and he assured us he would fix the problem completely and if we had any problems he would come and fix it without charging us. I wouldn't recommend this company due to lack of communication and follow up. read more

Argued with requested service multiple times. We wanted yard leveled a certain way. They never did it. Kept trying to say it should be done different and gave excuses to justify their reasoning despite me giving solutions to every proposed problem they gave. Yes. They kept claiming a problem would come up if they did the yard my way. I included a solution that we already planned on doing. What a disappointment! There are no words. Originally satisfied. Then I called for a second service and was left with a HUGE mess to clean up myself. First call was a quick landscaping job, went well. Second job was to remove a tree. Not only did it take nearly two weeks to come get started but they left EVERYTHING without cleaning at all. Who does this? Cut branches all over the yard and roof!! I contacted via phone and text to ask when they would come finish and didn't receive a reply!! Ignored all attempts to finish the job. Never showed up for the job. Called once he didn't show up he called back and then hung up. Then called back and said he was on his way but never showed. We had to wait a whole week to get another landscaper out to fix a leaking sprinkler valve. This review is solely based on that. He also never called to say he wasn't going to come after all or to reschedule. We we're supposed to have our front and backyard weeds done and in the front we were to have our lawn mowed. He came the first time and did get rid of a lot of our weeds in our backyard and he was nice enough to pick up some of the dog poop (not his job but much appreciated). The weeds were so bad that you couldn't see anything, he did put someweed killer on them and killed the weeds. He was supposed to come back a second time and never showed up. He said Friday, maybe Saturday. I have called him and my daughter text him but we have gotten no response. I think it's very unprofessional of him to not come back, not call and he did get paid for our backyard and half of the next month. I'm disappointed with this company. I'm now looking for some to come out and have it done for us. I'm sorry that I have to give a negative review. It isn't something I enjoy doing but I also expect that if we have paid for a service then they should be taking care of what was spoken This is a follow up! Don't waste your time with this company. Missed our scheduled appointment!! We scheduled an appointment for this company to come out and give us a quote to get sod installed. My husband and I are always at work so scheduling a time was difficult. My husband decided TO TAKE THE DAY OFF to have them come by. We scheduled an appointment for a Friday at 9am. My husband called them around 8:40am to make sure someone would be stopping by. No answer, the call went straight to voicemail. I then sent them a message again trying to confirm. (Still no answer) they then call my husband telling him that they had already had an appointment for that time and they can not stop by at the time they originally scheduled us. I hired this company to repair an underground leak in my backyard. He was late each time we scheduled. He was not prepared with the tools needed to complete the job. The first visits he started opening the area. Then he said it was hot and he would come back the next day. Mind you he was late and came in the afternoon so he knew it was already got before he came. We scheduled for the next day, Wednesday. This caused me to have to take off work to be home again on Wednesday. When he came, late again, he finished opening the area and replaced a section of the pipe then said he had to come back Saturday! I was not home Saturday but my husband said he put the bag of concrete into the hole and started pouring water without mixing it. My husband told him that was not appropriate and gave him something to mix in. Then he mixed and didn't smooth the area completely. My husband tried to smooth a little better but it was already a mess. He left my yard a mess and didn't clean up the debris from the concrete etc.. He was fast to come out to give us an estimate that seemed reasonable. However, he broke our sprinkler line and covered it up. He also "sprayed" the weeds. The weeds never died. I'm not sure what was "sprayed" on them. The job was to remove all the weeds and plant a tree. The tree did not get planted. The weeds were not removed, some were pulled but only the tops of them. They used our tools, which was fine but they left them lying all over the yard. I appreciate how quickly they came out but would not use them again because we ended up having to finish what they started. read more
