I've bought 2 vehicles from Santos Ford, and have nothing but good things to say about them! I will admit the service department could use a fire under their ass every and now and then, but as a vehicle owner its your responsibility to recognize issues and call them out when you see them. I know for a fact that Santos Ford stands behind their work and their products and will do everything to make it right! My first purchase was back in 2011 (Used 2006 Mercury Mountaineer) from Craig Prien. I was actually looking for this specific vehicle for about a year, and Craig called me on more than one occasion to let me know when they had vehicles I might be interested in. I have to say that Craig knows his stuff and definitely has the customer in mind when he's finding you a loan! He actually got me an extra set of keys that the truck didn't have, and a full tank of gas. I loved this truck and put lot of time and care into, and when I brought it back to trade in for something more fuel efficient they were more than happy to accommodate me! My fiancee and I had our hearts set on a 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid, and when the payments that we were looking at had us considering driving to Turlock to shop around, Mike Hemrick (General Sales Manager) really stepped up (in a HUGE way) and made sure that we stayed in Los Banos. They gave us the Fusion below cost and set us up with the best possible deal for our situation. They're even tinting the windows for us for free!!! They could have lied and told us that financing was the best option, but instead Mike called Ford Credit, and got us a 2.5% 3 year lease, that when we decide to purchase the vehicle,we will have saved over $2000 in total costs vs the 4.49% loan rate we were initially considering!! We are so happy with our purchase, and being able to buy American, LOCALLY, is the best part about it. Mike and Craig really stepped up, in big ways that they did not have to. They really made us feel like part of a family, and definitely did not treat us as a pay check. Mike really made it a point to let us know how much he valued our business and told us if we ever had an issue to see him personally, and that his is door is always open. Even if you're not in the market for a car, go in and check out what they've got, when I was there they had 3 Shelby GT500s in the show room that would make you drool. My next vehicle purchase is going to be with Santos Ford, and so should yours!! read more

My Dad found the leak on his own and took it to the dealership to show them. They quickly scheduled for him to bring it back so they could fix it and gave him a rental in the mean time. Still don't understand how they couldn't find the leak and it took my dad months of calling and calling and trying to find the leak himself to get the car fixed. In the end, it's been fixed and we're thankful for that. We will see if a leak shows up in the next rain. read more

Mike Nolan went above and beyond for me. My fleet vehicle, a Buick, died right before Pacheco Pass. I got it over to Santos Ford and the diagnosis was a coolant/radiator problem. Needless to say, I was without a car to get home. Mike made sure that I got a rental car from down the road and his service folks gave me a ride over to the rental place. He even mailed back my garage door opener that I happened to leave behind. Great guy and hard workers. I highly recommend this dealership! read more

Due to a recall, I had to drop off my car. I had to call just for them to check the drop box, then it took me calling again for them to say "well we didn't have the parts and your car wasn't fixed" Now I'm not mad at the man I spoke to on the phone, it's the people who failed to check the drop box, and failed to communicate this information. It is ridiculous I came back the next day, dropped my car off and was told that it would take TWO hours for my car to be fixed. Called at the two hour mark, still not ready. An hour later, "Oh sorry your car still isn't ready and everyone went to lunch. I don't know how much longer it'll be." ARE YOU SERIOUS?! So first off, my car sat at the dealership all day and no one took a look at it until 1pm that day, then it wasn't until I called that I was told not only did no one touch it the parts weren't here. Then I was told bring it in the next day and it will only take two hours. Nope. Three plus hours later and everyone is on much and no one can give me a specific time as to when my car will be ready. read more

These guys always aim to please and I cannot imagine going anywhere else for service or my next car. I think anyone is not totally satisfied is likely trying to get one over on these guys or is trying to promote someone else. read more

Ok, we have been looking for a truck formy daughter. We live in Modesto. I called and talked to Mark about a Ford F150. He said they still had it & was $29,999. We drove all the way to Los Banos & drove it. We made an offer and the manager comes back & says thats not the correct price. Its actually $39,999. They advertised it wrong. These people are liars and are falisifying their advertisements to get you in there. Then they tried to sell us a new one! I urge you to buy from honest people and these guys arent honest! read more

Been in this town 6 mos. We own 3 ford vehicles, will never trade here again, took our new car because a shock went bad , on the 3rd week its been there and its still not done, they never called to update us, ive been calling daily to chk status. Called early this morning and they said today for sure it will be done and they will come pick me up to go get it i SAT here all day waiting for their call canceling some appointments its 4:30 so I ended up calling and saying what's going on and they said oh it's not aligned yet probably be done tomorrow will tomorrow we will be out of town and we needed that car for tomorrow's trip we've gone above and beyond being patient. We're from the bay area and we went on a road trip to long beach on Thursday 12/12 and halfway there our car broke down. Our car got taken in and they said they'd have it fixed in a few days (Monday the 16th to be exact). Monday comes and they say it won't be fixed till Wednesday (18th) so we have to prolong our stay in Long Beach and when Wednesday finally comes we take 3 greyhound buses to get to Santos Ford only to find out the car still isn't ready. We end up staying the night at a nearby hotel until eventually we get picked up by relatives. They then say it'll be fixed Friday (20th). As you can probably guess it still wasn't done by then and they finally say it'll be fixed the next week. So on 12/26 my dad and uncle go to pick it up and halfway there (2-3 hour long drive btw) they tell them it'll be ready the next day. Today they drove all the way over there just to be told it wasn't ready AGAIN. This is RIDICULOUS and this whole ordeal could've been avoided if they didn't throw these completion dates around like we have all the time and money to waste. read more

I purchased a 2016 Ford Edge from Santos earlier this year from Craig in the sales department, and we had a great experience. I would highly recommend visiting Craig if you are thinking of purchasing there. About a month ago the check engine light came on my car (bad O2 sensor) It took a little push to get the service dept. to get us in, but once we spoke with Mike everything went smooth. Recently bought a 2015 civic from Santos ford my grandfather has a good relationship with this dealer. Alothough I got a good deal I found out car had a quarter panel put on it and procedures to do so where not even half way correctly done need less to say I am very disappointed in the car I got I would think they would be checking there cars more thoroughly... I would highly suggest checking ur vehicles if you purchase from here. Claiming that the car fax was clean sorry to tell you car fax is not a reliable source. read more

I originally inquired online and was somewhat frustrated with the lack of response and effort I received from the internet guys. HOWEVER....we decided to visit the lot in person. First time I've gone to a car dealership that was doing the BAIT and SWITCH. I thought they'd stopped doing that years ago, but NO it's still alive at Santos Ford in Los Banos. They advertised a truck for $29,999, but after we got there, drove the car and waited 20 minutes for our salesman to get us the best deal he could, the sales manager came out with a quote of 39,999 plus tax and license. When we asked for an explanation he said it was a mistake in their advertising. HOWEVER he had a different truck that we could have for the same price - which was the 39,999 price. We were helping our granddaughter purchase a truck since she had just graduated from the nursing program, and when she drove this truck she was so happy that it was in her budget. Her happiness turned to disappointed when she was told the REAL price was $10,000 over her budget. We unhappily left the dealership with no truck, but lots of bad feelings about Santos Ford. read more

I took my Ford F150 truck in to Santos Ford to be checked because the steering was hard on turns and had excessive play on the freeway and the truck is still under warranty. They called me to say they didn't find any problem with the steering but the steering fluid was old and dirty, recommended a fluid exchange to which I agreed. When I went in to pick up the truck I was flabbergasted to find a bill of $364! I was charged $185 to check steering, $174 for fluid exchange service! I will definitely not be a returning customer, but will return to Frontier Ford in Santa Clara. Besides Santos Ford ridiculous pricing, the steering is still hard and has excessive play! read more

I had a recent car buying experience at Santos Ford in Los Banos. Dealing with the salesman, Jeff Roberts was a good experience. (Thus the reason for 2 stars) No pressure, no haggling back and forth. This is what I can offer, this is our best price, and we were done. I bought the car on 3/19 and it was to be delivered 3/20. The problem arouse with the service department. The used vehicle I purchased need two new tires, and the seats cleaned (the major issues)... No problem, they'd get the tires replaced, detail the car, and then Jeff was going to deliver it to me in Fresno (65 miles away). Well, getting the tires took a lot longer than expected ... When the car went to detail, it sat there and nothing happened. So an unhappy salesman had them give it a quick wash and brought it to me 6 hours later than planned. Jeff was apologetic and told me to bring the car back, at my convince, for the full detail. I called Jeff on 3/26 and made arrangements to bring the car in on 3/28 at 10:00am. Made my hour long drive, got there a little early, only to be told there were 6 cars ahead of me .... Excuse me!?!?!? I have a 10:00am appointment ... Sorry no, you're just going to have to wait ... The service manager was NO help at all, nor was the salesman that was there, as Jeff was off work. So, long story short, if you buy a vehicle from Santos Ford, you might get an okay deal if you've done your homework, but don't expect any after sales support or service despite what you are told. Once you take possession of the vehicle, they don't care anymore. Make sure everything you needed to be corrected, is corrected before you leave the lot. I am truly thankful that I don't live in Los Banos and would need to depend on them for service. Avoid the service department folks, at all costs. read more
