The seafood was all cubed up into small pieces and the sauce was exquisite. We also ordered a pasta with mussels and that didn't disappoint either. The round of Aperol spritzes was also amazing but they offer a lot of wine as well (which probably would've paired equally well with the pasta, but my heart was set on Aperol spritzes for my Italy vacation). Service was good - bathrooms were clean but tiny and could be better in my opinion. You also have to pay upstairs at the register rather than at your table. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you're close by and visiting the Duomo. It's approximately a 5 min walk away and worth it!

Taglioni pistachio gambino 16€ = $17.50 USD) - This spaghetti type pasta was prepared al dente and served with a creamy pistachio sauce that paired well with fresh shrimp. Grigliata mista (26€ = $28.50 USD) - I enjoyed the variety of freshly grilled fish this dish had to offer which included salmon, shrimp, and white fish. Fritto calamari gambino verde (22€ = $24 USD) - This consisted of lightly fried calamari, shrimp, and julienned squash and zucchini. The vegetables were so addicting and I appreciated that everything was prepared in a light batter. Overall, I really enjoyed the sea food here and the variety of offerings. I can see why this is a popular sea food spot!

The restaurant is on a side street near the busy (with tourists from every corner of the globe) Duomo area. It is easy to find. It has a charming decor (though it is a bit darker and more romantically appointed than other area restaurants, as well as having an underground and almost bordello vibe). It is also larger than it might appear, as there are both ground floor, as well as a lower eating area seemingly for larger groups, as well as used during busier times. We have only eaten on the ground floor level. The menu offers ample variety, but is not what one would term extensive. It tends upscale, though not extremely costly (arguably average to slightly above average fine restaurant prices), but portions are on the smaller side. They have a specialty in dishes augmented and emphasizing the use of truffles, of which we have sampled several times. Over the course of our several meals we've had every pasta and risotto offered with truffle shavings. Of the appetizers we can recommend the meatballs, which are delicate and small, the bacon wrapped shrimp, and the octopus. Their desserts are also not the run of the mill and warrant tastings. All and all, we will always repeat here when in Milan. Frankly, though their Yelp average score is pretty good, we were surprised they do not have a higher Yelp average score.

A quick search on another app with online reservation found me here and I was so glad I found this place. They are known for seafood dish but they have a special section on the menu only for those prefer not to eat seafood. Pasta and sea bass I had was amazingly good. Several interesting pasta proposals, like the typical "fregola" or tagliatelle with clams, bottarga and squids. The main courses are focused on fish proposals, but also some meat ones can be found on the menu. Large list of different Vermentino wines, the Sardinian white wine, and we choose a bottle of an excellent Is Argiolas. Great service and several kind house gifts: pane carasau with olive oil and rosemary, chips offered with the main course and biscuits with myrtle liqueur at the end. It has three dining rooms, but it's always very busy, so a reservation is necessary. The veal scallops in Marsala wine sauce with garden vegetables was absolutely delicious. The fettuccine with mushrooms and Alfredo sauce was awful. Like a canned ragu sauce. Would not order that one. We also had a traditional Milanese dish that was recommended by our waiter. The Ossobuco alla Milanese served over risotto was very good. Ossobuco is a classical Milanese specialty. It is a braised veal shank cooked with vegetables, white wine and broth. It was served over Milanese risotto which is infused with creamy saffron. Nice to try this local dish. Overall, the meal was very good. It included a service charge. However when we went to pay, they charged us for the "free" bread that they brought to the table and tried to charge us an extra 20% fee on top of the service charge. Thanks, but no.
