We love this place! The sushi is always delicious, the service is always great, and we get our food pretty quickly, and straight out of the oven! The fried rice is enough for three meals, and my only suggestion is to add more shrimp. I think I only got six or seven pieces of shrimp in my entrée and I would've loved more! read more

My husband & I kept passing by this place & decided to try it one night. It was also recommended by a co-worker who lives in the area. We had a taste for sushi & said why not? The restaurant is located in a newly built small plaza. We walked in on a Saturday evening, & we were graciously greeted & immediately seated. It was a bit busy with a steady flow of people coming in & out, but there was no wait. The restaurant is small but long & nicely decorated with a nice ambiance. Because it is rather small, the seating was communal. Cozy....but not necessarily my preference. Depending on where you sit, you may be quite close to the party sitting next to you. If you happen to get one of the few booths, you'll have a little more privacy. If not, you'll get to know your neighbors sitting nearby. However, the staff is super friendly. Our waiter/ waitress checked on us often & our glasses never went empty. The sushi rolls were huge & the presentation is lovely. I got two because that's usually how many I need to get full. However, at this place, one roll did the trick! So with two & a miso soup, I was absolutely stuffed. They give a whole heap of raw fish on top of the rolls that are topped with fish. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing:-/ My husband ordered shrimp fried rice with his rolls. I tried it & found it to be a bit underwhelming. He felt the same way. It was a bit bland & tasted like it may have been more steamed than fried. There is a difference. Despite that, I would definitely go back for the sushi & great service. read more

UPDATED Heard from management with in 48 hrs. and they are working to make it better. Like I stated maybe it was an off day, everyone has one. I appreciate them reaching out and will try them again soon! Thanks again! I know this has had many high reviews, and maybe we just hit it at a bad time, but no one there seemed to care. A party of 6 for lunch at 1. Our waitress was very overwhelmed! But still never apologized. Never checked on us nothing. Had to ask for one of our party's lunch. Had to beg for more water and our bill. Our waitress never brought it to us. Someone else from the kitchen brought us our bill. Also mine and my wife's teriyaki chicken was cold, and the food was nothing more than a bland chicken breast sliced with sauce poured over the top of it. Rice was bland but most importantly it was cold!!!! But couldn't send it back or complain or tell anyone because no checked on us! WON'T BE RETURNING AND CAN'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!! read more

Mediocre. I got the Yum Yum roll, Nashville roll, and Spicy crawfish roll. They all tasted bland. Not as great as I was anticipating. I do eat sushi from different states often though as my job requires me to travel quite a bit. I didn't like any 3 of the rolls that I ordered. read more

I have eaten here at least once a week for over a year and the last two meals were beyond horrible. I went by on Tuesday night and ordered sushi, egg roll, and shrimp fried rice. Having had bad fried rice at some oriental food places I asked how they prepared the rice and what was in it. I was told it was prepared with egg, peas, carrots and onions, and different sauces. After arriving home and opening the fried rice it was simply white rice with soy sauce and a few carrots. The shrimp were so over cooked they were inedible and I threw them away. The egg roll was over fried and so hard it was inedible, the sushi was a dynamite roll, crunchy shrimp with spicy tuna on top. The shrimp was not crunchy and was cut up in such huge pieces you couldn't bite them. Tried to eat it and it fell apart. After thinking about it I went back by on Wednesday afternoon and explained my frustrations and they asked if they could make it right and I said again, if it is just going to be the same then I would order Biminbop. They promised they would prepare it the right way and made it and I went home expecting the most incredible fresh fried rice. To my disappointment again, no egg, no peas, a few carrots and no onion, no frying and no sauces other than soy. I love the food and have never had a bad experience, probably will be my last trip!!! read more

This is the best sushi we have found in the area. It is reasonably priced and always fresh. As much as I hate to admit it, I have not tried anything else there because I just can't pull myself away from ordering the sushi. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and it is always clean. !BEWARE BEFORE YOU EAT HERE! Me and my friends just finished our first semester of college and decided to have a celebratory lunch at the new Asian place in our hometown. We ordered as usual, I got sushi my friends got sushi and hibachi. You know those salads that come with your order with the dressing? My friend had a bug in hers! A live, moving bug with pincers and wings; later to find out it's called an Earwig. We immediately let the server know and he apologized but we had leave we wouldn't eat there. We didn't stick around to talk to management or anything we just got up and left. Besides the live bug in the salad; the decor is cute love the modern rugged mix, the fur on the booths is kinda cheap and slides around. The menu is huge disorganized and looks like it was made on Microsoft Word™. One star for the bug, another for the decor. read more

No complaints at all! Fresh food. Great presentation. Perfectly cooked and prepared. The soup with my lunch box wasn't the typical clear broth. It had flavor. Loved it! The bento box had ideal portions of a mini-egg roll, tempura shrimp and sweet potato slice, chicken, steamed rice, and a mini-spring roll. The chef came and checked us and the staff was friendly and attentive. I don't think I can expect or ask more of them. My first impression was very good. What can I say about Sapporo Japanese and Korean Restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are very gracious. We had the Yuki roll, Yum Yum roll, Tuna Poke, beef Bulgogi, and tried grapefruit Soju(yum!). What an amazing meal. Ms. June was lovely, and we definitely will be back. OMG, I will for real get on my soapbox about this place. It's at the end of strip mall. It's very unassuming. You walk in and it's so lovely. The vibe was great. They have a big full bar in the middle. We were seated right away. Our sever was a hoot. I can't recall his name but he was loud and over the top. You could tell he liked his job. He kept our drinks filled. Gave us some hints on what he likes. The menu is vast and very affordable. They have ramen and I do love it. They also had kimchi fried rice... there were 4 of us. We had salads with ginger dressing, miso soup, and tons of rolls. They offered a coco roll - get in my belly again and again...DELISH! We also ordered veggie fried rice. All was tasty. It is a very relaxing environment. I was totally impressed. I will definitely go back to try the ramen! Bathrooms were clean. I need one of these put in Chattanooga. read more
