From the moment I walked in, they were very friendly and helpful. Marisol and Hikari are very nice and make selecting glasses frames or getting set up for an exam very easy. Dr. Frassato is a very good optometrist who genuinely cares about her patients. She took the time to listen to my concerns about my hard lenses and recommended switching to soft, daily disposable lenses. The difference has been incredible! Not only are my eyes no longer bothered, but the comfort and clarity of my vision with the new lenses are amazing. I highly recommend Redondo Optometry. Dr. Frassato and her team provide top-notch care in a welcoming and professional environment.

My fiancé needed a same-day appointment before Friday, and as a brand-new patient, I honestly wasn't expecting much in terms of availability--especially on such short notice. This was actually the fourth office I had called, and by that point I was preparing myself to keep searching. From the moment Geneve answered the phone, though, everything changed. She was incredibly knowledgeable, well-spoken, personable, and genuinely kind. Our conversation felt less like I was speaking to someone at a medical office and more like I was talking to a friend I'd known for years. She even laughed with me while I jokingly vented about my fiancé's habit of waiting until the last minute to schedule appointments! Although the only appointment initially available was later in the afternoon--which wasn't ideal since my fiancé works third shift and needs his sleep--Geneve never made me feel like I was asking for too much. She simply said she'd verify his insurance information and promised to call me back if anything changed. I barely had time to consider calling another office before my phone rang again. She had already confirmed his insurance, and while we were talking, one of her coworkers mentioned that an earlier appointment had just opened due to a cancellation. It honestly couldn't have worked out more perfectly. The entire scheduling process was seamless, quick, and stress-free. Geneve's professionalism, positive attitude, and genuine eagerness to help made what could have been a frustrating morning into such a wonderful experience. Calling at 8:06 in the morning and being greeted with that level of warmth, patience, and enthusiasm truly made my day. Although I wasn't the patient, my fiancé had nothing but wonderful things to say about his visit. He mentioned how beautiful the office was and how thorough everyone was throughout his appointment. Since it had been well over 20 years since his last eye exam, he was pleasantly surprised by how comprehensive everything was. He also spoke very highly of the ophthalmologist, saying she were incredibly knowledgeable, informative, and never made him feel rushed. They took the time to answer any questions he might have had and made the entire experience comfortable from beginning to end. To Geneve: thank you for going above and beyond. Your communication skills, compassion, and dedication to helping people are truly exceptional. Employees like you are the reason people become lifelong patients. I had filled out the paperwork online so I just had to check in to the front desk and wait. Amanda greeted me and did a short vision test. Then Dr Darin Chun proceeded to do a thorough test on my eyes. He talked about the tests and was easy to talk to. From his observations, he recommended that I see a Retina Dr. He gave me the business card of a Dr that he recommended. I went to the front desk to pay the bill for the visit. They don't take United Healthcare for my insurance so I had to pay the entire amount out of pocket. It took about 1 hr for the visit since this was my first visit. In my car I was able to call the retina Doctor and make an appointment to see him on the next day. Overall my experience to my new Optometrist went well. The staff and Dr Chun were friendly & professional. They made me feel comfortable & not stressed out. If you need an Optometrist, I recommend that you see them. I traveled over 50 miles to get here but it was worth it.

I didn't want to make the drive to my eye doctor in OC so I contacted this office and they were able to squeeze me in the same day. Thank you so much!! The staff was friendly, patient and professional. I have PPO insurance so I was able to go with whomever so that helped. In keeping with the friendly and approachable theme - Doctor Florister was also very friendly, patient and professional. And quite funny. She was a bit alarmed that I had rinsed off the top layer of my eye but reassured me that the eye will heal itself in a day or two if I stopped rinsing. The moral of the story I learned is that if something gets caught in your eyes- just rinse continuously for the first 15 minutes and then stop - whatever is in there would come out by then if not then no amount of continued rinsing would help. Don't be an idiot like me and rinse every two hours ! ‍‍ My eyes are back to normal now with the use of eye ointment and gel drops. No prescription medication needed and not antibiotics because she didn't think it was infected. Overall I was very happy with my experience with Eye Care Riviera and highly recommend it! Cheers!

My husband and I came in simply because it was time for our checkups, and the whole experience exceeded our expectations. We went in thinking we might need contacts, but thankfully we're at a level where they weren't necessary (yay!). The exam itself was thorough, efficient, and surprisingly easy. Even the dreaded air test for glaucoma, which I usually hate, was quick and painless. The paperwork was clear and easy to complete, which was such a relief compared to other offices where forms feel overwhelming or confusing (almost punitive LOL). I also loved the office ydecor. It's full of travel souvenirs and sports memorabilia, which gives the space so much personality and warmth. I really appreciate offices that feel personal and welcoming rather than cold or sterile. Dr. Au is truly exceptional. He's patient, funny, and genuinely caring. What really stood out to me was that he took the time to get to know us: our lifestyle, habits, and reasons for coming in, and offered personalized advice that actually felt doable. He asked calculated questions, seemed very knowledgeable and was very approachable as well. I told my wife about the experience and she said she's looking for a new optometrist so she'll probably end up going there as well. Also worth noting one of the ladies at the front was nice enough to (proactively) follow up with me to ensure cvs for the prescription. Great place all around.
