I am extremely picky when it comes to my nails as I have had several horrible experiences at different salons in the area and within a 20-30 mile radius. Saras Nails is by far the best around and I know many people who come from afar just to see Jenny and all of her qualified technicians. Jenny only hires the best to ensure every customer is satisfied either if it's their first visit or they are a regular. They all provide exceptional service each and every time. Today I decided to stop into Sarah Nail salon to get a pedicure for the first time. The Customer-service was horrible. I told the technician that she needed to scrubbed a little more. She only spent about 3min on the foot scrub. My feet still felt a little rough. I was told that I needed to pay more to have a special treatment. But the technician never put any effort into the 1st service. I spoke with the manager and she was not helpful. She did care to find out what was going on or how she could help. This salon had no other patrons at this time and it would not have been any inconvenience for them to do this service. Needless to say I will never go back again. And if anyone's looking for a salon I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

I was looking forward to a relaxing mani/pedi today, exactly two weeks since having a baby. I was greeted very nicely upon arrival. However, the young girl that did my nails could not have been more rude. She was very rushed and when I asked her if she could spend a bit more time on my heels, she actually threw the pumice tool down on the table next to me. She made it very clear to me that she did not feel like working today. It was hard for me to shell out the $42 to this girl after my experience with her. It's a shame that this girl was so miserable because the rest of the staff seemed very pleasant. read more

Went in for a massage. Never again. I had to ask the masseuse multiple times to leave the room while I changed, then she expected me to lay down and put my face on the dirtiest lambs wool face pad...it had multiple strands of other people's hair and someone's smudged mascara which she finally covered with 2 layers of paper towel, She started a timer that was going to tick for the entire 60 minutes but I convinced her to take it out of the room. I have never felt so exposed and personally violated during a massage (think inappropriate touching and the door opening multiple times)), and I have had plenty of massages in the past. As if the experience itself wasn't bad enough, she then chased me down asking for a tip (I had paid someone else after having a pedicure, including all tips). I used to go here exclusively because it is very clean, and the staff was always so sweet. I stopped going after I got a particular tech a couple of times in a row. It was very off-putting to pay money for a relaxing experience with a tech that was rude, rushed, and looked like she couldn't wait for me to leave. I left one time with a bloody cuticle, and the next time with a burn mark on the top of my foot from the hot stone! I do appreciate the kindness of the rest of the staff, and I would definitely return if I could be guaranteed not to have the young angry tech ever again. read more

I was compelled to comment on this place because it is so bad . First upon walking into the place in is not very clean . Then , as the pedicure was happening she was moving so fast through the steps that I even made a comment to her and asked her if that was it ? "Regular pedicure " she says . Ok well I have gotten regular pedicures at a ton of places and it's never taken that short of an amount of time . I didn't even feel like my feet were clean after it . Horrible . I started going here a while back because I thought they gave a much more thorough pedicure than where I go for my refills/manis. Good massage, hot stone, overall enjoyable. Each time I go now, it gets a little worse. But today, I went for a pedicure and it was awful, I should have insisted I just pay for a polish change. I was sat down next to a couple of people who had been there before me. I was done WAY before either of them. I was exfoliated on my legs for about 4 seconds each leg, and the bottom of my feet were scrubbed with only 1 tool for about 5 seconds each. Others were receiving much more service than me, as indicated by the length of time I was in the chair. Then the lotion came and it was simple rubbed in, again, no massage. Nail polish was put on, not smooth, not shiny. Then I got a mani, and was scoffed at when I asked for a third coat because it didn't seem opaque enough. Then I went to dry my nails, they usually give a shoulder massage when you're sitting there...I got one, and I counted, for 11 SECONDS! Why bother? I am a nice person and there's no reason I gave them to give me substandard service compared to every other customer there. Def won't go back ever again. What a waste of money. read more

I would not return, not only was the technician extremely rude when I walked in. She judged the color I chose, and not to mention the gel color came off that same NIGHT! I have been going to Sarah Nails for a while and I have yet to write a review. I received the best pedicure I have ever had there! I am a repeat customer because they constantly show wonderful customer service. They take their time when they give you a pedicure and really massage. My feet always leave their feeling soft and looking great! I will definitely continue to use Sarah Nails! read more

I never write reviews but reading all the negative reviews I felt like I had to comment. I have been getting pedicures at this salon for several years without any issues. The salon is far cleaner than any others I have been to in the area, and I have very high standards for cleanliness. No one has ever been rude to me. The staff is competent and professional. My pedicures last forever. The quality is much better than at other spas where you get charged $50 for a half-hearted polish job that lasts a week. read more

I visited Sarah nails for the first time last week and have only good things to say. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location was clean and welcoming. My nail technician did a great job on my pedicure and it was reasonably priced! Perhaps the best part was they gave customers socks at the end that were missing the toe part, so that your toes could dry. That was a nice touch I have not seen before! I will definitely be back for another pedicure, probably on a Monday-Wednesday when they offer a lower rate on pedicures. read more

My friend is getting married nearby and we chose this location for pre-wedding manis and pedis. The staff could not have been nicer and more accommodating! They switched all 8 of us through manis and pedis and had a sweet little setup for us in the back to relax and chat with the snacks we brought. Our experience was wonderful and I'm so thankful for how great they were to my friend before her big day. Would highly recommend! read more

Sarah's Nails is #1 on my list for nail services. Upon entering the salon, everyone was very friendly and welcoming. They are very clean, which is the major thing I look for and the environment is very pleasing. Jennifer is amazing with my gel re-fills! Pricing is very reasonable as well. Never Again! And this may sound like a Seinfeld episode but its not.. went in for pedicure and while picking out my color, watched my pedicure-ist proceed to wipe her sniffly nose with her bare hands over and over again. She clearly had a cold and kept wiping her nose with her hands - never washed them, never put on gloves. I asked the owner/manager for a new person to do my nails (actually, should have just left). He yelled something, someone else yelled something, then everyone laughed... grossed out and offended, I still didn't leave. Then, I got a very poorly done pedicure with zero effort and zero care. I should not have paid, but I did... then proceeded to get a polish change somewhere else. Terrible service and effort from a place I used to frequent. read more

I would give this salon a 0 if I could. I walked in about 45 minutes before closing to get a full set of nails for my best friend's wedding the next day. I understand that's a little late, but I thought it was plenty of time, and it was the first chance I had to get there. Clearly annoyed with how close to closing it was, and that they only had one other customer, they agreed to see me. The lady did not even cut or clean my cuticles, which looked horrible under the finished product. She went right to grinding my nails down. She pressed so hard with the grinding tool, and held it on my finger so long that it began to burn, and I had to pull my hand back a couple times from the pain, to which she just smiled and didn't say anything. She then did the worst job gluing on the nails, and cutting them down, not even looking how long each one was. After that, she literally wet my nail, and dipped it in the powder jar! For each nail! Everyone who has gotten acrylics before knows that the powder is picked up and applied with a wet brush, then smoothed out with the brush. NOPE my fingers were dunked INTO the powder quickly. After that, more painful grinding then a sloppy nail polish on top. They were so thin that they began to break the next day. When I went back to get my money back the following day, I was told I could have asked the technician to do it differently, and did not receive my money back. I went here for the first time today for a pedi and gel mani. My technician did a great job, the place was clean, and they had a decent selection of regular and gel polishes to pick from. This is the reason for 3 stars. However, I asked upon arrival about the cost of a gel mani ($30) and pedi ($30) and asked if there was a special since it was mid-week. I was told that it would be $45, plus $3 since I had chosen a premium polish brand for my pedi. I assumed that meant that I would be charged $48 total. Fine. Well at the end, she takes my credit card and told me it would be $63. I looked at my technician, confused, and reminded her of the conversation we had when I walked in the door. She insisted that I misheard. Another woman, presumably the owner or manager, came over to help and pointed to the door which mentions a special for Tues and Weds for regular mani/pedi only. I expressed real disappointment in the miscommunication that now is leading me to pay $15 more than I expected to and that I felt like I didn't have a choice. I expressed how unhappy I was but she smiled, rang me up, handed me a pen and told me to have a nice day. I understand that the language barrier can be difficult, for both customers and employees and believe that they did not intentionally try to mislead me but the truth is that I didn't see a price menu posted, there isn't one on their website, I asked a question and felt that it was answered and the answer I received should have been honored. read more
