I went to another place in town that told me I needed $1500 in maintenance and then when I asked again two months later, someone at the same shop told me I needed $400 in routine maintenance. I came here for an oil change and told them that if they noticed anything they thought needed a tune up - I was game as I was about to make a big cross country trip. They came back and said everything looked great. I ran through the list from the first quote I had and they eased my mind. They let me know that they thought all of that was unnecessary and didn't make sense given the past maintenance and state of the vehicle. It was so nice to feel like I was dealing with honest humans. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for routine or necessary maintenance!

I called to inquire on maintenance service for my Lexus-(that is at the Lexus dealer getting an oil change).... I was expecting to leave a voicemail, but they answered the phone... Nice! Very helpful and casual.. he even said they could just look to see if I need my serpentine belt needs to be replaced on the Lexus.. Since I am having the oil change there, I scheduled for the 4runner to get an oil change.. for next week. That really stood out to me because it showed they actually wanted to make sure the engine was worth fixing before spending more money. After that, Clayton took over and continued helping me through the process. He explained everything clearly and kept me updated the whole time. They found multiple issues like intake leaks, an injector problem, and a radiator leak, but I never felt pressured to fix everything at once. I really appreciated that they worked with me and let me prioritize what I could afford. I ended up fixing the main issue, and the misfire is now gone. The car is running much better. Repairs aren't cheap, but I felt like they were honest and transparent throughout the whole process. Communication was great, and I always knew what was going on. Overall, I'd definitely recommend CoAuto if you're looking for a shop that actually explains things and doesn't pressure you into unnecessary repairs.

Jake was clear on fee structure and costs along the way. Sunshine also performed a pretty thorough general inspection and found a few additional things that needed to be addressed. The choice of what to do or not do was completely mine. There was absolutely NO pressure to approve the other suggested services. They sent a text with pictures of what they found and explained anything/everything I asked about. Again, very much appreciated! I ended up needing new lower front rocker arms & bushings. They also performed an alignment (due to rocker arm replacement) oil change, tire balance & rotation and replaced the engine filter. I could see it was needed based on photos sent via the text. Jake found a replacement kit that included arms and bushings which saved me some money. Yay They also found the tires had been rotated improperly for an AWD. Also a 15% discount is always nice. The shop lobby is simple but clean. There are a couple of comfortable chairs and a coffee machine. The office has wifi, so that's handy to get some work done or just surf the web. My job was quoted at two hours but they felt they could get it done in about an hour. My car was ready in about 75 minutes. I'll take it. I had a simple brake fluid flush. My car was returned clean (no greasy finger prints), the service light was reset and my brakes performed as expected.
