Zander answered my questions, until I asked if they would take a certain amount. He said he would get back to my son. He didn't. He couldn't talk to me since it's not my profile. Kid was sitting next to me. He said he would call us back in a few minutes. We waited 30 min and he didn't. We called him back and then he placed us on hold forever. Still not real sure why. Funny enough, came back he just sold the car. I understand that can happen, however it's still on their website. Offered to send pics of the same car just a year newer and then hung up on us. My son called him back, he said oh that car's getting detailed. He had lots of those cars and to pick one. He wasted our time, was unprofessional. Left a voicemail on my son's phone where he said, "Calling for ***,this is Zander" and hung up. We purchased a 2023 Tesla from Russ on November 11th and traded in our 2021 Subaru Outback. As of today--over a month later--our lender still has not received the payoff for the Subaru. This delay is now impacting my credit, and despite calling multiple times and leaving several messages, no one has provided an update or returned my calls. It appears the finance paperwork was completed incorrectly, and unfortunately the issue has not been addressed or corrected by the dealership. This has created a significant hardship for us. I am hoping management will finally respond so the payoff can be sent and this situation resolved immediately. I have worked in an automotive setting for over 30 years and I have never seen this kind of incompetence. Someone needs to call me back so I can get this resolved. I wouldn't recommend Russ to my worst enemy for a vehicle. I can't believe we gave our business to him. Edit - still no response from this business to correct this issue for us. I'm in California, so quite a ways away. I got all the info I needed about the car and set up a day to go see it. Car was great. They did a full multi point inspection and addressed everything that the car needed to be safe and drivable for the new owner. I checked the car out and I loved it. Ended up driving it home. If you're looking at buying a truck- I would NOT go here. From the start it's been red flag after red flag & it is partly our fault for not speaking up sooner. We bought our truck going on 2 months ago & it's been in their "shop" more than it has been at home. We dropped it off 2 weeks ago and never once got an update until about 10 days later BECAUSE WE CALLED, & they said our sales rep was no longer with them. Nothing had been communicated within the staff members and nothing had been done with the truck this entire time. They finally got to "working on it" the day before we picked it up and to our surprise no one was there to hand us our keys or even provide a receipt of what was done to our truck. We took it home regardless and it still sounds and feels like absolutely nothing was done to it. Silence!! I've been beyond patience and now I'm beyond frustrated. My son bought a WRX and also requested full coverage warranty. The warranty cost $3,700. The engine needs to be replaced. We thought, thank goodness there's a warranty. $3,700 and it only replaces a radio. So, now we're double screwed because it's a preexisting issue. We have to pay a bullshit warranty and the cost of a new engine...$7,700 plus full coverage car insurance and pay auto loan on a car that doesn't run. Well, Russ guaranteed a refund. He also asked us to bring the car into the shop to see if there is something they can do to help. The car sat there for weeks before even got looked at. We called to ask the status and were told we need to drive the car to the other shop. Seriously...! Then we drop the car off, still nothing...we pickup the car and they send us an invoice!! What!?! Worst dealership I've ever had the misfortune of buying from. Once they have your money, they move on to the next sale and you don't hear from them again. I spent over $110k on my car and as soon as they had my money I became an after thought. Six weeks pass and I still haven't received the title card, so that I can put the car in my name. I called them on a Friday and they said they would look into it. HOURS later they finally call me back to inform me that there is a problem with the title and they will send it to their title company on "MONDAY" to fix it. So they sat on the title, which they knew had a problem, for "SIX WEEKS"!! I was never contacted about when my car was being picked up or when I should expect the delivery. Days pass and I all of the sudden I receive a text message from the driver that my car is being delivered in a few hours. I had know idea it was even on the way!!! I was suppose to get a set of after market rims and tires with the car I bought. They told me they would ship with the car, since I live in Minnesota. Car was delivered, NO after market rims and tires with it!!! I called them and Jose "my salesman" said he couldn't believe they forgot to ship them. This is the quote from him: "I can't believe they forgot to ship them with the car. They were stacked right next to the car on the showroom floor ready to ship with it." Finally I get a call back from Jose and he tells me there was a miscommunication between him and his manager, and that the after market wheels don't come with it. So why did they have them stacked next to the car on the showroom floor? A miscommunication between those two, yet I'm the only one who pays for it! I was really interested in those after market wheels and they said they could sell them to me for cost since there was a misunderstanding. I kept after them for "8 WEEKS" trying to get a price sheet for those rims!!!!! FINALLY GAVE UP! Never did receive a pricing sheet!! Never did get to buy those rims!!! I finally got to drive it and the tire warning light is on! So I looked in the menu system and NONE of the tire sensors are communicating with the car. Then another warning pops up that the oil needs to be changed. So I go into the menu for that and it says the oil life is at 4%!!! Now the first thing I have to do is schedule a service appointment for it!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just started collecting cars last year. They have other cars I would be interested in, but there is no way I would ever buy anything from them again!!! THIS DEALERSHIP REALLY SUCKS!!! We drove 30 minutes out of the way in snow to look at specific truck I was interested in and when I got there the salesman I made an appointment with wasn't there. Also the truck wasn't there either. The other salesman there tried to upsell me to two other trucks that I was not interested in and out of my price range. The sales manager told me told me my monthly payment would be about the same price if I added another year to my loan. I bought a Ram from Muscle Motors a couple weeks ago, Roberto was my sales guy. Really good experience overall, I had to do a little bit of extra running around and paperwork due to my financing, but he was easy going and fun to work with, and made sure that I was taken care of even when he wasn't there the third day when everything was completed. Truck gas tank was topped off before I left and it was smogged. Can't say that the interior detail was the best, it was clean except for under the center console. Whoever vacuumed did a pretty cursory job - where it was folded down there was pet hair and dirt left over. I do recommend you check your vehicle over closely before you take it home, the radiator cap was left just sitting on the radiator instead of fully closed and it ended up leaking on my drive home. No issues since then, I'm loving having a truck! read more

Muscle Motors is the epitome of terrible customer support post sale of vehicle. I purchased a 2016 C7 Z06 from them in September 2nd 2024 with 9,028 miles on it. The day the vehicle was driven home a service suspension warning came on and the vehicle was brought to their shop. The shop fixed said issue but informed me that a O2 sensor was melted and needed to be de-pinned/re-pinned and would get back to me when the part was received. I proceeded to call 15-20 times between then and now, I also showed face at the dealership multiple times asking between managers, assistant managers, and the salesmen who sold me the vehicle why I had not been notified or contacted regarding my cars issue. During this 8 month time frame I found out the car had an accident on file (Was not disclosed to me at purchase when I asked if it was a clean car), had a missing retention clip on my left rear caliper causing visual circular wear patterns (Informed them of this issue as well due to each Rotor being $3k), and a frayed voltage sense wire on my battery which resulted in a new battery being required and replacement of the wire connector. This dealership has salesmen who neglect to inform you of issues surrounding the car even when you ask them for specific information and will not fix or try to help push repairs for vehicles when warranties are purchased. The mechanics must be blind as well to have not seen the multiple permanent codes that were either cleared by them or the previous owners, melted components, and missing components on the vehicles on site. I would never recommend this shop to anyone looking for a stock or built vehicle. They will sell you the car, but post that transaction, do not expect support or anything near help from this dealership. read more

BIG FAT ZERO STARS if I could, SUPER SHADY!!! I recently 2/25/24 visited Muscle Motors with my son after flying in from SFO, having made a deal over the phone and securing a loan through the dealership. Upon arrival for the test drive of the 2020 Raptor $63k we were interested in, we were appalled to find it filthy, with dog hair scattered everywhere. To make matters worse, the truck was advertised with 53k miles, yet upon arrival, it showed 62k miles. Apparently, the owner of the dealership had used it as his personal vehicle, adding 9000 more miles than advertised. When I confronted them about this blatant discrepancy, they brushed it off as if it were inconsequential. I insisted that it was dishonest and disrespectful not to communicate the accurate mileage upfront. Their response? A laughable $3000 reduction offer, while still trying to charge me for rims and a tunnel cover that had accrued the extra 9k miles. This place is an absolute joke, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I spent today $800 flights one way $60 Lyft from and to airports. $160 Car rental one way back home. Beware of this dealer. Would give negative stars if possible. Long story short: They sold me a faulty vehicle that I would be using for work. They kept the truck in the shop for 2 weeks when I brought the vehicle back for repairs. They did not fix the necessary items for me to feel safe using the vehicle, so I returned the truck. They held my refund for 6 days longer than they said they would. Because of this, I wasn't able to buy a truck for my snow plow operations. Its been 3 weeks since I tried to buy this truck, no refund and no truck. It's been snowing the last week and I don't have a plow. I've lost clients and money because of this the incompetence at Muscle Motors. Long story long: Bought a truck from Muscle Motors at way above KBB. I expressed at the beginning of my purchase that this truck will be used for my snow removal company, and our season starts in 3 weeks, so I needed the truck to be in good shape. They assured me it was thoroughly inspected and good to go. Needless to say it wasn't. -TPSM Light was on when they sold the truck to me - (they installed "used" tires and rims which threw off the sensor) -Check engine light (came on during my drive home) - Turbo needed rebuild - Steering rack unstable/clunking (didn't notice until I hit the mountain pass/windy roads on my way home) - Back left brake was squealing - one pad was worn to 3mm while the others were 7-9mm? -Air Filter was filthy so not even that was checked How was this vehicle possibly inspected? Turns out the inspections was done at Les Schwab. They did take the truck back for repairs when I complained, but they initially only worked on the turbo. The day I was supposed to pick up the truck, the brakes and the steering rack had not been check. Russ the GM "didn't even know there was an issue with them". I told them I wanted a refund but they said to give them another day and they would fix the rest. I gave them the extra day but when I came to pick up the truck the TPSM sensor was still on and the steering rack was having the same issues. I ended up returning the truck. They kept my refund for over a week when I was told I would have it in 2-3 days. When I called about the refund, I couldn't get it because Russ (the GM,) was out of the office. When I called Russ later that week, he said he couldn't give me my refund because everyone else was out of the office. These guys are terrible. Needless to say Russ is the worst. Honestly. Super unprofessional and everything you expect from your stereotypical sleepy car salesman. Called me "babe"? on the phone and told me "the brake guys who do the brake stuff" would be looking into the brakes. Dude is clueless, and he's running the place. He also hung up on me twice (though the first time I was cursing him pretty good) and literally told me "it didn't matter" that I didn't receive my refund the week before. Well it did matter. I needed that money to buy a plow truck for my 40 snow removal clients. It's snowed over a foot in the past week and I've had no plow. I've lost clients and had refund many accounts because these guys can't get it together. So thanks Russ and guys at Muscle motors. DO NOT BUY a vehicle from Muscle Motors Auto Sales. The worst experience we have every had buying a vehicle. We bought a 2015 Ford F150 on Aug 2023 for our company. When buying the vehicle, everything was ok.The sales process was fine and the sales guy was professional. We bought this for a California business and the dealership delivered the vehicle to Sacramento vehicle wrap shop for us. The wrap shop took two weeks to do a full wrap, then we got the truck. 20 miles down the road to get the vehicle smog checked, the check engine light turns on. After getting the code read, it was emissions code so we took it to a shop. The shop in CA repair shop said there was no CAT and it was replaced with a dummy Catalytic converter. After a lot of back and forth with Muscle Motors, they agreed to fix the truck. We drove it back to Reno and have the truck fixed by their shop. Not 5 miles down the freeway, there is a loud metal scrapping noise. The shop forgot to put the mounting bracket on the exhaust, so it was dragging down the freeway. We strap the exhaust with a belt and drive it back to the shop. They put the proper mounting scrap on and we drive down the road. We drive back to CA and after 80 miles of driving, the check engine light turns on again. We call Muscle Motors and they refuse to do any more work saying its not their responsibility because the truck is "sold as-is no dealer warranty". After a code read, it turns out the O2 censors are bad and code P2112 Throttle Actuator system is bad. This is a $1300 fix we paid out of pocket. Muscle Motors sells used cars that are not smog compliant, clear engine codes, then completely blame the customer when show them with proof. Highly advise you stay away from this dealership. read more

They do a great job at keeping those hard to find models in stock and specialize in high horsepower and specialty cars that you just can't seem to find anywhere else. Long story short I came to Reno for another even and actually bought a camaro from them. I have had some bad experiences from dealers in the past, one tried to sneak in $5k worth of extras on an already overpriced camaro and had no knowledge of what the car actually was. I had a very pleasant experience at muscle motors they know what they are talking about and have a deep knowledge of the cars on their lot. No more going to a dealer and knowing more about the car you want than the salesmen does. They are more worried about how much money they can get out of you than if you get the right car for your needs. Unfortunately purchased a vehicle April 4, 2021 from Muscle Motors. Living in Ohio everything was handled over the phone while utilizing pictures and videos to help with the transaction. I asked on multiple occasions if there was any damage to the vehicle which I was informed multiple times the vehicle was clean and damage free. In the pictures I noticed a couple wheels were curbed so they were nice enough to fix them. Once I received the vehicle I found out the windshield had multiple chips (1 that already started to crack), a paint chip in the right rear and left front, multiple dents through out and the front air dam behind the grill was broken and the crash bar was bent (most likely a small fender bender that wasn't reported to carfax). I immediately called the sales person who said the windshield was like that, funny how they didn't tell me till after I received the car. Guess I should have found time to go see the vehicle in person. Also the car needed paint correction due to all the swirls and poor detailing job from the dealership. Now to the best part. Apparently they never got the title to the vehicle before they sold it to me. Never once was I informed of this, again not till after I owned the vehicle. They told me that it would take a little bit to get the title and they would keep sending me 15 day tags so I could legally drive. Getting a new 15 day tag was like pulling teeth and I've been forced to drive illegally on multiple occasions. Well a month later I gave them a call to get a status, still no title. As I write this review it has now been 4 months since the purchase agreement and the credit union still hasn't seen the title. Stay far away from this dealership. read more

And of course, as with any horror story, the car did not have warranty at the time of sale due to an alteration that I was not told about. Travis knows that I would never have bought this car without warranty (whether it ran or not), so at worst he lied to my face, or at best it was neglectful practice on his part & the business. I made attempts to return the car with valid reasons for a refund, then a partial refund, & then a trade-in in hopes to get some of my money back. However Travis and this stealership only offered me an ungenerous trade-in value or *surprise, surprise* an option to buy an aftermarket warranty through him on a cost that he felt was fair (as if I didn't pay 52K on a car that should of had warranty in the first place). If your looking for a sales manager/business that takes responsibility for their sales & has enough integrity to take care of a customer after a mess up on their end I WOULD HIGHLY SUGGEST you look elsewhere. If your thinking of buying a car from here I suggest you be willing to sue them to keep them accountable on the nature of your contract. It is my hope that this would keep them more DILIGENT with you than they were with me. No customer should have to make multiple attempts within business days to get information about their sale, purchase, or status. There were two occasions out of MANY that Travis was ever proactive enough to return my call/texts before I had to call him. The last we talked Travis had some asinine insights into why anyone would care if a car had manufacturer warranty or not, which is concerning for anyone doing business with him. I would not trust their IOU's (even if they are signed), Travis still hasn't made good on that part of my contract - in my case maybe this can warrant a lawsuit. Worst customer service with savage sale person. Pulling tricks just to kick you out with out showing the car they have. Read on if you care. First time went check out a F type R car is not there. No one greet me I'm like kool. Went there again today for 2 M4 and 2 M3 listed. Went in saw a super dirty black M3 parked right at their office entrance and trying to take a peak of the red leather interior a dude came out ask how can I help you. I told him I just want to see those M3/M4 and appently he can't hear very well or because I'm Asian and my GF is black. He opened the office door and said oh is on the back I went in 5 sec he said oh the blue M4 is in the shop while still stand outside of the door. So I went outside because my gf still standing next to the door. He said and asked me blue M4 right? And than I said you have a white one too right? He said is park across the street and look at the dirty M3 said this is M3 with out any intention of show this dirty car either. We left right the way. Who is he try to lie over here. 2018 M4 with only 13k miles on it trying to sell for 65k and it is in service. ?????? If you judge me like that and let me tell you something with that little "performance" lot you have just cause you bought all the desire cars doesn't make you treat people like us this way. Above market price listing with disrespectful service have no care about showing people their desire car. I will prob have to email them let them check my credit and agree to their max out ripe you offer to prob get some sort of notice from this people here. Imagine try to deal with them oh wait there is prob no deal at all. Avoid them unless you look like some one that can afford it cause they all look like they selling exotic cars or something. Perhaps I need to wear my suit and Gucci sunglasses to see a BMW M car , outrageous. I have to say... i have seriously been so impressed with this place. I keep seeing the reviews about how you drive off the lot and they don't care.. this couldn't be anymore wrong. I bought my car and drove off the lot and my check engine light when on. They took all the right steps to help us out. They were in contact with us every part of the way and we got a loaner car in the meantime. Matt has gone over and beyond with helping us out. I highly recommend coming here. There is also zero pressure buying. Matt was amazing at just showing us numbers first before we committed to see if we would even want to buy.
