While they bake a number of things, I think it's safe to say cakes are their most popular item. They make really awesome wedding cakes, sheet cakes, cupcakes, and a really stellar king cake. The latter is available year round, which is really convenient. The doberge cake is perfect for chocolate lovers and the NOLA wedding cake is decadent. A lot of people sleep on their ooey gooey cake, but it's definitely one of the most indulgent things they make. Their custom cakes look incredible and are extremely creative. They also bake some really high quality bread. From french bread to pastries, they can produce stuff perfect for building the perfect muffuletta, poboy, or the underrated but always lovely pullman loaves. I love matcha and I've found a lot of places' matcha are too thin or not flavored enough. The matchas I've had at Nectar+Ice (banana bread & baklava) are so creamy and delicious! They also have snoballs, lattes and affogato so everyone can enjoy them. The owner was very helpful and also let me sample the weekly soft serve special which was also yummy. The only reason it's not a perfect 10 is the small space (can get a bit crowded during a rush) and its hours are only from Wed-Sat.
