As long as you cancel at least 24-48 hours in advance by phone or email, you won't be charged. I've had to reschedule before and it was no problem. This location is inside a larger building with a prominent SkinSpirit sign outside. Just go in the main doors, head up the stairs, and the office is the first door on your left--it's easy to find. Milena Bonilla P.A., who is Board certified, evaluated me and treated my hair and skin conditions. She knows how to treat African skin, which scars easily and is prone to hyperpigmentation. She also addressed my hereditary hair loss and the products that I need to buy to treat it. I am impressed with her results. There are many skin product samples in the office, which I have taken home and tried. I now know which cleansers and sunblock work best on my skin. Ms. Bonilla nor anyone else in the office has ever pressured me into getting cosmetic dermatology work done, like Botox or chemical peels. I strictly go there for medical dermatology, like blackhead removals and annual skin cancer evaluations. I can't say enough incredible things about Long Island Dermatology. I highly recommend.

I later continued my email correspondence and requested to schedule an appointment for my procedure. No response. Nada. Zilch. Silence. Later, I found out the reason why I got no response was because the person I had been corresponding with was no longer there. Fair enough, but at least put some forward on the email or have someone cover it. From my perspective, my appointment request just went unanswered. In my mind, I figure if this is how they act before they get my money, imagine how they would react once they actually have it.
