It is separate from the restaurant, kind of intimate and it has its own charm. When planning, I met up with the manager Ranjan, and he made sure that all our requests and requirements were met to our satisfaction. He was always available to us. On the day of the event, when we came in a little earlier, they had already set it up to accommodate our 60+ guests. They even helped us with our decor etc. The food was amazing, the service excellent and all our friends and family enjoyed the party. The servers. Prakash Ankit, Shailendra and Sai were very attentive to our guests and made sure they were well taken care of during the whole celebration. The Dahl was fantastic, but the absolute showstopper was the Biryani. Take it from someone who has spent time working in Hyderabad: this is the real deal, highly reminiscent of the city's absolute finest. We finished things off with the Shahi Tukda, which was so incredibly rich and tasty it probably needs its own tax bracket. Beyond the food, the logistics are a breeze. It's right off El Toro Road with ample parking (a true Southern California miracle). They also offer catering if you want to be the hero of your next event. But this was table service, and a perfectly comfortable one at that. There were maybe eight or nine tables, and one lone server holding down the front of house. Casual, older, thin, moving with purpose. She greeted us warmly, dropped menus, answered the phone, checked back often, kept the table tidy, and somehow managed to make the whole room feel cared for without a hint of drama. We added naan, because not ordering naan would have been foolish. The food took a few minutes longer than the impatient part of your brain might expect.
