Yes, it was so good that we craved more and came back again with one of our sons. After trying the butter chicken Frankie wrap, our 2 other sons wanted more, specifically for their lunch tomorrow. (Yes, we were warned that it's best fresh, but we informed the chef that they had the leftover wrap this morning after it being refrigerated overnight and reheated.) On top of our regular items, we tried a new curry that was recommended by the chef (chicken andhra), as well as a new bread (paneer kulcha). Once again, everything was delicious, and we have more leftovers to enjoy tomorrow. Until next time...and can't wait to try a new dish. read more

Went here today and got the vegan duo and the chicken duo lunch specials. The chicken tandoori leg was clearly raw. When we brought this to the attention of the server and asked that it be removed from the bill she said she would have to talk to her manager. They ended up comping only $3.00. Rather disappointing given that my friend bit into the raw chicken and is now waiting to see if she gets sick.. read more

Awesome, Awesome. 2nd time here. They adjusted the spiciness to our taste. Lamb vindaloo, 1/2 spicy for me, 1/2 medium for my lady. Chili garlic shrimp rocked. Truly such an amazing place! The lamb korma was so tender and not gamey at all The staff is so incredibly kind too. The minute you walk in, you're hit with the most amazing aromas. No clue how this restaurant is rated 4*+.. Just the food is so the below average Ate, chicken biryani, aloo paratha, chicken tandoori, gobi Manchurian. All of them are bad. If you cant make good dish in any of the basic categories of biryani, parathas, tandoori or indo-chinese, I don't know how you are running an Indian restaurant. The staff greeted us immediately, smiling and was very inviting. Our waitress was sweet, efficient, helpful and didn't make us feel rushed. So rare these days. The food was delicious. We got the butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, potato samosas, garlic naan and an Indian style coffee. At the end of the meal our waitress asked if we'd been there before and as it was our first time she returned with a complimentary mango yogurt, which our young kids devoured! Great experience and great food! We even had a whole other meal out of the leftovers the next day :) Highly recommend! read more

Delivery, take outs, patio dine-in is open daily from 11am-10pm to order by the Menu. Buffet is not yet served due to health and social distancing reasons.

First things first -- plenty of parking in the plaza, so no need to circle around hunting for a spot. We arrived around 3:30 PM, and since weekday lunch pricing is $21.99 per person from 11 AM-4 PM, we were pleasantly surprised when the hostess kindly allowed us to stay through the transition until 4:30 PM before dinner pricing kicked in. That was definitely appreciated! The ambience is what you'd expect from a buffet: open, spacious, and filled with plenty of tables for larger groups and families. Now onto the food... The ambience was nice with many wall, booths and tables and a TV playing some Bollywood music. I enjoyed the atmosphere. I stopped by on a Wednesday for a lunch buffet, and I was very pleased with the large variety of items, including chicken tikka masala, tandoori chicken, chicken or lamb curry (did not try it) and chili chicken. The butter chicken sauce was very tasty. The tandoori chicken also had a pretty good marinade and it was not overcooked. On the vegetarian side offerings , they had dal, some kind of dry potato (aloo) curry, Saag Paneer, Navaratan korma, Bengan Barta, and also miniature Samosa and egg rolls. All the dishes were tasty and hot. The buffet was so good I bought one to go for my wife. I will definitely come back. The owner was very polite and also the waiter (Durzo sp?) was very polite, accommodating, and gracious. Royal India gets five stars on the variety of offerings considering buffets can be limited, five stars in value, and the food gets 4 1/2 stars. I will be back thank you very much.

The lunch buffet was under $20 and included the garlic naan bread. I like how hot food items were refilled frequently and their tandoori chicken was moist and not dry. Thank goodness for their small desserts as I got to try different ones without filling up too quick. Service was ok. Took a long time to get our waters refilled and for my Mano lassi to come. Regardless will be back soon as the food is delicious!

When I arrived, the restaurant was packed. I had to check in and take a number, but they managed to seat us in under 10 minutes. If you're not into crowds, I would definitely avoid Sunday's. My usual visits are during the weekdays when they open first thing for lunch. You get first pick of the buffet offerings and it's much more enjoyable without the crowd. My faves are the Chow Mein, Teriyaki Beef, Fried Rice and Honey Walnut Shrimp. So....if you have a craving for AYCE buffet, check it out!

Everything except for the hibachi I got was cold. Shrimp, pork, chicken, all cold. They have an okay variety of deserts but other than the coffee and orange ones they were pretty bad. The flavor of the food was good, but the temperature of it was what really grossed me out and worry about food poisoning. It was during dinner at around 4pm so crab legs were included. My daughter devoured them and so did I. Best part of the buffet. Customer service: the waiters were very nice and kept our table clear. As soon as they notice we had our empty plates they would come around and grab them. I did notice and maybe it was just for that moment but we did get different waiters just grabbing our plates. Maybe they are doing a system where everyone waits on every table. Whatever they were doing it worked! We did mention at the end that our food was cold after we had paid and all because we were asked how we liked it. She did apologize and told us we should have brought up sooner so they could warm it up. That since it was slow the food gets cold. It was nice she apologized and all, but working in the food industry myself it is not any of the customers job to remind you to keep an eye on food temps. And you're supposed to keep food hot. Regardless they were nice. Would I come back? No. Would I recommend it? No. $60 for two adults $9 for my 4 yr old and $5 for my two yr old. So basically $80 for a family of 4 for cold food. Flavor was good though. So if you want to try it maybe you're lucky and get hot foods

I had the chicken Baja bowl and everything was super fresh and yummy. My suggestion for Urbane Cafe is to add more protein in the bowl. Most restaurants give a minimum of 4 ounces of protein on their dishes. I'm not sure if there was more than 2 ounces of chicken in the bowl. Chicken is very thinly sliced and there wasn't much of it though. Other than that, everything was good. The white chocolate cranberry cookie was amazing. I used to stop by here all the times, several times a week, to pick up the cookies for my evening snacks. It's $3.19 per cookie now and it's not very big. I can easily eat three of them in one seating. The focaccia bread is very good and they make it onsite daily. There was no one in the restaurant when we came but people were trickling in soon after and there were many to go orders.

The food was outstanding. I got the combo shawerma plate and a cheese and zaatar flat bread, the food was delicious and plated nicely. Not to mention that have a brick oven for the flat breads and pitas. I am so full but may have to try their sweets. I really hope this place stays in business!
