A bit eclectic, this Tiki Bar is one of our favorite stops...people are great, like the atmosphere and the craft made cocktails are as good as any in Tulsa. Andra had the Momma Mo, a house specialty while I started with a Chi a Chi, their number one selling drink. Andra loves the spice while still being a cool drink. The Chi Chi is a hazelnut version of a Pina Colada, simply wonderful with the natural ingredients. After my first one I began to play in Tulsa's best rum selection. Music fits the mood and we could look out through the roll up window to a view of the Tulsa skyline. This place is always tops. read more

A friend of mine recommended that I check this place out during a recent visit to Tulsa and I'm really glad I did! The Saturn Room is basically a really fun Tiki/Hawaiian themed bar with tons of fun drink options! My bf and I tried a couple cocktails that had lots of different liquors mixed together and decorated with tons of fun things (an orchid flower, a slice of pineapple, a piece of candied ginger, a plastic monkey and an umbrella!) Wow my drink was really strong and quite tasty. I also enjoyed the fact that each cocktail has its own tiki shaped glass/cup. They have seating both indoors and outdoors and the bartenders were really friendly, fun and knowledgeable. I'd recommend this place to anyone that visits Tulsa and needs a drink. :) read more

These people know their Tiki. Excellent beverage list, including beers and rums for those who somehow can't or don't want a Tiki beverage. Decor is fitting, and the moderate climate means that in many months the sliding overhead door/window between the bar and outdoor patio can be left open. It's not a tropical breeze, but it counts as a breeze of some sort. Beverages are listed with their name, description, location of origin, inventor and date - a nice touch. Hello everybody, to start off. We asked the bartenders their favorite drink, and they replied with, "there is a menu right there". After that they already set the vibe for our visit. We showed up at 1:10 on a Friday night. They already shut pretty much everything down by the time we got there(their last call is at 1:30). This is our guest time at this bar and we did not know which way was the patio. Walked to the wrong side to get to the patio then they took our drink and poured it out. Without telling us it's the wrong side or letting us know. The continued to laugh at us in a very unprofessional way and tell us to get an Uber. We had only been out 30 minutes and this was the worst experience we have had. We were bartenders in okc and the fact that we had an actual personality and stuck ip for ourselves they assumed we were overly intoxicated. The worst experience we have had going out at a bar and will never be back. We were very friendly and left a good tip. We do not understand why from the beginning we received bad attitudes. Instead of good customer service for pouring out our drink and not telling us the entrance to the outside patio has a different entrance than the open gate at the front of the bar and refunding us they laughed at us and told us to make a claim with the bank. The bar is stocked meticulously with high end rums- nice enough to be enjoyed neat, in a highball glass. The Saturn Room specializes in shareable drinks, like The Volcano Bowl. With a flaming lime half in the center of the bowl, and a spritz of absinthe across the top- this is unlike anything Tulsa's ever seen. This is a perfect addition to the Brady Arts District. Definitely a downtown gem, Saturn Room is perfect for everything from the first date to a fun patio happy hour meet up with friends. Saturn Room takes it's style from all the cool tiki lounge bars of the 50s and 60s, with everything from killer tropical cocktails (of which there are many) to awesome vintage decor (I am obsessed with their puffer fish lights!) The bartenders are quick to serve and make excellent drinks, and they're always helpful with suggestions on what to try. The bar only has shrimp ceviche on the menu (but it's incredible and really flavorful--and half price at happy hour!) so this is more of a drinks only place. They have buzzer-style trivia on Wednesdays, too! Would definitely check Saturn Room out if you're headed to a show at the Brady (across the street), looking to impress a first date or in desperate need of a patio drink that is awesomely cool and refreshing. read more

it took me forever to come check this place out. while my main goal was to try out most places possible (whether it's a bar, lounge &/or restaurant) this year, I made sure this was one of my early decisions. they didn't disappoint whatsoever. this place is very soothing, dim with mellow lighting (I came late night). it looks like a restaurant with the seating they have but it's a full fledge bar. the waitress was very on task & another lady (who might've been a manager) was very friendly. I ordered two drinks: sound and vision & sharks tooth. sound and vision was white rum, overproof rum, aperol, art in the age rhubarb, lillet blanc, lemon juice & mango shrub. yeah, there's a lot going on with that one but it's good. sweet, slightly bitter. it's considered a tiki drinks so it's in one of their special cups. the sharks tooth was recommended by the lady who might've been the manager. Barbados rum, Jamaican rum float, cherry cordial, lime juice & pineapple juice. not as much going on like the previous drunk but still good. it's layered so it's bitter up top, then gets drinks at the bottom when you're about done with the drink. a lot to choose from, they even had big drinks that you could share (which is something I plan on doing on another visit with a group). the only thing is the location, it's not really surrounded by other bars & such like the other spots in the brady arts district. nonetheless, it's worth a visit. read more

Went here for my birthday with a friend on accident, it was one of the only bars open and we were so happy we did! It's a really cute, colorful and loud atmosphere. The Painkiller is a great drink. Very fresh tasting and the booze is well hidden without the cocktail tasting overly sweet or overly fruity. The outside area is top notch. The service, although busy enough to almost drain the joint of booze, was swift and courteous. I am excited about future returns to explore more of the tiki drinks on the menu. read more

We were visiting from out of town for a concert and stopped by for a preshow drink. The small, but well designed bar definitely fits the "tiki" part. It had great decor and lighting. My biggest complaint was the window to outside was open, during the day. I honestly really dislike that. I prefer my tiki bars dark dark dark. I totally understand having an outside section, and that was well done too. I just don't like the two "connected" during the day like that. At night, maybe.. but during the day? I want to escape that sun! I had the "I can show you the world" and "Deadman's Reef" was also ordered by our group. My drink was fantastic. At first sip I didn't know what was going on, but by the second I loved it. It was a citrus and cream taste. Like a creamy orange type of drink. Super good. I instantly liked this place when I walked in because of the tiki decor and the cleanliness of the bar. The music wasn't too bad either. I came in on a Saturday afternoon around 3:30p so it was empty and I really got to feel out the space. I saw pictures of the cute tiki mugs that the drinks were served in on other yelp reviews but I guess the drinks I ordered aren't served in them or maybe you have to ask for it. Either way I was a little disappointed by that. I'm gonna go ahead and say that their drinks are on the expensive side considering the cost of living in Oklahoma. The average per drink was $10-13.
