Maybe terry might be good... I have no idea but his son..... Not so much! I will not give a good review after my 5 and a half month old puppy Sadie went for a routine spay on Jan. 12, 2016 and two days later, the 14th she is dead! She wasn't even 6 months old yet. She was so important to our family. Why did this have to happen? I guess I will never know because Nate refused to speak with us after her death. There was no compassion what so ever not from anyone there. Not even when we went to pick up our dogs records, no one said they were sorry no one did anything. I read reviews on a lot of veterinarian pages and everyone always says they were so compassionate and caring. Well I never felt these things about this place. I pulled my other dog out of here as well. I would never go to this place. Google them before going here. there are other bad situations that I came across after losing my baby. I would think twice if you consider Stanglein for your spay and neuter needs. This is truly the most compassionate vet facility we have used. Dr Terry and Dr. Dan as well as all of the other staff. They treat your animal as though it belongs to them. Our dog was critical for a week, they layed on the floor with him and comforted him. We are Forever grateful. read more

I brought my dog to Dr Nate at Stanglein Vet Clinic from a referral from a friend. My dog had bone cancer in his leg, and the Vet Hospital I had initially taken Buddy my dog to was very vague and unclear of his chances at surviving the aggressive cancer. This was a very hard time and I did not get the reassurance or confidence I needed to make a good decision for my family and more importantly my dog, although the suggested procedures would have put me in a financial bind, and probably having to take out a loan to proceed. I called Dr Nate and brought Buddy to see him. Nate was extremely enthusiastic, realistic, and sensitive to our situation. We decided to amputate his leg (this was a certainty) but chose not to follow with chemo after the leg amputation. I felt completely comfortable leaving him with Dr Nate and the caring staff. In such a hard time everyone was comforting and confident in their tasks to give Buddy the best chance for survival. Buddy's procedure went flawlessly and over the next couple weeks recovered fully and before we knew it he was down at the beach swimming and running with his three healthy legs! Buddy had a 5% chance that the cancer didn't already spread and give him only months after the amputation, but we were lucky and Buddy fell in that 5%! Going to Dr Nate and throw in a little bit of luck saved my dogs life. I was able to afford the procedure, which helped us make the decision to amputate his leg, and without amputating his leg we would have never known that was all we needed to give Buddy a second chance at life!! I would recommend Stanglein Veterinary Clinic to anyone looking for a caring, forthcoming, and hard working Vet. Best decision I ever made for Buddy was taking him to Dr. Nate. Overall Dr.Terry himself is a good vet. His prices are somewhat high considering over half the hotels in the Valley cost less then having your animal stay there overnight. But his staff are rude and clueless to anything that is going on. Four different answers from four different people tells me a lot. Also they do not give you any help or payment plan to cover the costs of anything. I recommend trying other vet clinics to see the big difference in knowledge and approach at other places. We brought our 5 and a half month old puppy to be spayed on Jan 12, 2016. She did not do well and Nate Stanglein left her alone over night and waited till the following morning to realize she was bleeding internally. He did a second surgery the following day Jan. 13th where Nate found the leak which was a slipped ligature. he repaired the leak and had to give Sadie a blood transfusion and a plasma transfusion. by 5:30 PM Sadie was in critical condition and needed to be rushed to Valley Central Hospital where she went into cardiac arrest they had to do CPR they stabilized her that night gave her another blood transfusion. but by the morning of January 14 our puppy's vitals were going downhill. By the time we got to see her on January 14 at 7:50am she was not doing well very unresponsive, we sad with her and pet her and told her we loved her. After that we sat with the vet at Valley Central and suddenly heard a loud cry the vet left then came came back and told us that she had passed away. Nate Stanglein should never have left our puppy the first night alone when he told us that her blood count was low he should've stayed with her and watched her through the night and if something was wrong he should've fixed her before it was too late. He killed our puppy and we are left brokenhearted with no answers to why she is no longer with us she was the most amazing and loving and smart little puppy. She was our baby. And he took her away from us all because of a routine spaying surgery that is done every day in this country. If you want your dogs to be alive do not bring them to Stanglein Vet Clinic.
