Awesome mac and cheese. Meat ball sliders were insanely good. Go check this truck out wherever it pops up

The Grilled Cheese folks had a food van, the Chinese guys had a nasty trailer with their name scribbled on the side and my choice of food was the food trailer from Sweet Magnolia. At least that trailer looked professional - I'm not sure how Wok n Roll made it past inspection...that one was a roach coach. One truck in the corner was serving two items, another was only ice cream and a burger truck was also on hand and empty. Nobody cleans the tables, so when I sat down, I had to toss aside the disgusting table cloth littered with food particles and eat just on the table. There is no desert caravan as indicated on the website The area is poorly lit The music is somebody's Ipod and a guitar guy played every 30 minutes You know how there is always somebody happy and peppy outside the trucks on TV inviting you to come over, well this was the opposite. It seemed nobody wanted you to eat at their Trucks..at least at 9pm, but it was open until 10pm Sweet Magnolia had good BBQ brisket, but was skimpy on the portions of meat. Overall, it may be worth a visit once or twice year, but it could be better.

I typically head over to their Facebook page to check out their weekly listing of which trucks are going to be there. Some of our favorite trucks are Frites Street, Waffle Love, Flippin Rice, and so on. The ambiance is pleasant and it's great for a group of people to enjoy since there's always a variety of trucks present. If it's my boyfriend and I who are going together, we will each get dinner from a truck and then get dessert from another one to share. It normally gets really busy but we are still able to snag seats as someone else is getting up. Minus one star because they always have music there which is way too loud! It's okay to listen to for some time, but then it gets overwhelming and tough to have a conversation with others. If you go late in the evening, the area does get a bit messy and it isn't well lit. We'll still come back to support the food trucks!

As someone born and raised in Louisiana, soul food isn't just food to me--it's home, it's family,…read moreit's love on a plate. I've been living in Arizona for almost four years now, and I haven't had real soul food in all that time... until tonight. Mel N Libby's showed up at my apartment complex, and I knew I had to try it--but I'll admit, I was nervous. If you're Southern, you know what I mean. I asked where she was from, because a real Southern cook just knows. When she said the Carolinas, I felt that nervousness melt away. I ordered the Mel Special, and let me tell you--this was a feast. Ribs, tenders, baked mac and cheese, collard greens, fried shrimp, cornbread, and banana pudding. The portions were generous, the food was hot, and every bite tasted like it was made with intention and love. My first bite honestly brought me to tears. It reminded me so much of my mom's cooking--comforting, rich, soulful. It healed a part of my homesick heart that I didn't even realize was still aching. Mel N Libby's isn't just serving food--they're serving memories, comfort, and a true taste of the South. If you're missing home, craving soul food done right, or just want a meal that feeds your spirit as much as your stomach... don't walk--run to this truck. I will be back every chance I get.

Leading up to the big night, Chef Miranda, was incredibly helpful in securing a bartender, Brittany that we loved, and recommending a party rental company that I enjoyed working with. He carried about the details, and to tailor them to my husbands like, to make the evening special. Dinner was amazing- loved his appetizer choices, the steak and sides were perfect, fresh focaccia, and special bday cake were all raved about. Professional, excellent catering skills, and ease in working with make him easily a 5 out of 5.

My wife and I love to cook and have prepared some outstanding meals at home over our 40 years together. We have extensively traveled and lived throughout the world and as such developed pallets for superb cuisine from all over. As we grew older we gleaned the best of what we enjoy and developed them into our own cooking skills. My wife being Korean born refined her cooking skills in the eastern cuisine like Korean, Japanese, Thailand, and others while I have refined my skills with French and Italian. Prescott is a beautiful place to live but its culinary basis is built on sawdust. We usually cook for ourselves if we want a top notch meal. Now the past several years I have been confined to a wheelchair and transport is very limited. We used to spend winters in Hawaii where we could get great quality meals and seafood whether we prepared them or went out. So our 40th! I wanted to do something special for my wife since I have not been living up to my end of our culinary relationship being confined to a wheelchair. Thus I started seeking out a Chef that would come to our home with his staff and prepare a custom made meal for us. I selected Chef Thomas and Copper State Kitchen. I started by a rather lengthy discussion via phone and followed up with sending Chef Thomas some of our favorite recipes, sufficient for him to develop a five-course meal for us. Chef Thomas is very professional and easy to work with. We refined the meal over the next two days we agreed on the following proposed menu; I supplied the wines. Amuse-Bouche * Fig Jam, Blue Cheese, Red Wine Poached Pear & Arugula Crostini Starter * Prime Rib Poke with sesame crunch and microgreens and pipkuala aioli (based on my deconstruction of the infamous Tiki Bar in Waikiki dish) Pasta Course * Lobster Tagliatelle in a Champagne Cream Sauce Main Course * Beef Wellington with foie gras and red wine demi-glace Dessert * Crème Brûlée (torched table-side) Wine Pairings * Santa Margarita Prosecco DOCG * Domaine Salmon Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc * Tenuta de Sesta Brunello di Montalcino 1996 * Chateau Rieussec 1st Grand Cru Classe 1863 Sauternes 2004 Every course was perfect and very enjoyable. And they cleaned the kitchen meeting my wife's expectations. I highly recommend Copper State Kitchen for your personal culinary experience to celebrate your special occasions.

I originally brought my lunch from home but when I heard they were visiting, my home lunch was quickly saved for another day. I originally intended to order their Bronx bomber sandwich but was sold out by the time I visited around 11:40am. Mind you, they opened at 11am. I was really bummed out but luckily had the back-up option of the Brooklyn burger. I ordered the Junior size and it is a quarter pound beef patty while the regular is half pound (two patties). The Junior is still plentiful and all meals comes with fries. This order left me incredibly satisfied and full. This was one of the best ~$10 I spent on lunch in awhile. I hope they do come back so I can try out their Bronx sandwich!
