I will miss the buffalo chicken sandwich. Moved to Oregon was sad that I found this so late in my 2.5 years in Phoenix.

My fiancée is from Philly and we were in the area, so popped by. When we got here, it was around 1:30pm on a Sunday and it was dead. The young man behind the counter was playing on his phone, while two others were hanging out in the kitchen. I wasn't super hungry so set on the Philly Fries (fries, Whiz and meat). Almost $10. My fiancée just got fries. Took roughly 10 minutes to get my order as the fries were fresh and everything was hot. Totally delicious! The restroom's faucet handle was detached but still operational. Otherwise very clean! Reason for 3 stars: food portion rather small for nearly $10, football instead of baseball (or "Rocky" as they usually play - not even a Philly game and out of season), and, no longer serving Tasty Cake!!!! Sandwich was average. Ambiance is nothing special. I went on a day they do 2 for 1 starting at 4pm. I arrived at 3:30, the place was dead and there was no way she was going to give me the 2 for 1 so I ordered a drink and sat and waited. A group of regulars showed up 10min before 4pm and she gave them the 2 for 1 deal. There are much better Philly cheesesteaks in town. Tried Corleon's for the first time and got the Philly with cheese whiz and a side of fries--so good. The sandwich was packed with flavor, super cheesy (in the best way), and the meat was tender and juicy. The bread was soft but held everything together, which I appreciate because no one wants a Philly falling apart mid-bite. Fries were hot, crispy, and not overly salty--just right. Super solid. Cheesesteaks are simply great, exactly what you look for. Get the grilled onions, they add a lot, and if you are into whiz they do it right here. Only knock is the soda machine lines have been dirty for a while. Past few times I was there the sodas taste pretty rough, cleanliness is not a strong suit. We ordered delivery from here and it arrived very quickly and was hot. We tried the original wit, the cheesesteak fries, and a slice of the pizza. We were very impressed with all of the items! The bread on the cheesesteak was the perfect texture and the wiz to meat ratio was great! The pizza slice was very good - the sauce wasn't too sweet and it was nice and thin. Well, this is a very run down Philly cheesesteaks joint. If we go in order of events: 1. we received a $50 dollar gift card to this restaurant and thought we'd go there for lunch. 2. We picked out 2 sandwiches and a kids meal. $43, okay..... $50 with tip 3. I give the guy that is running the register the gift card.....that doesn't work, I can't enter the gift card number manually. 4. Hmmmm 5. He calls over the manager, she tries to run it through the magnetic strip reader again, nothing different happens..... 6. Sorry this card won't work, but if you go to the website there should be an email address or two that you can contact. 7. I pay with a credit card. 8.Reach out to the mentioned email address while we wait for the food, but they bounce back. 9. ... 10. Pictures of the interior of the restaurants are attached, the tables are dirty, and it was warm in there, 100° in Phoenix, and the restaurant was probably at 85. Not pleasant. 11. Discovered this place when our first option was closed on a Sat in the adjacent mall. We didnt have high expectations, but this place is solid! Food: Plenty of options, but the Original is the go to here! I was also pleasantly surprised by the well cooked fries. Service: Counter is a bit aloof, but the food comes out solid and if you need something, they get right on it. Overall: After 4 visits, including 2 in one week! This place seems like a winner and we will be coming back! read more

Well they have made some changes. There is no pizza any longer. The Cheesesteak sandwich isn't as big as it use to be. The Cheesesteak maybe smaller but it's also cheaper. But the service is still great. The place is clean. The Cheesesteak is still very good. They only have 1 size for the cheesesteak sandwich but it's one of the best tasting in Phoenix. The place is dirty. I used to come here years ago all the time. The place has been run into the ground. They have a broken cooler at the front by the register, my son and I tried to find a clean table or high table and we had to wipe off part of a high table. Every table was dirty! Only one other patron in the place. The kitchen doesn't look clean. The walls need to be repainted, the bathrooms are disgusting, which tells you everything you need to know right there, the floors need to be cleaned, the place just looks like a train wreck. If the cleanliness and the lack of investing money back into the place to keep it nice is that bad, is the food safe? read more

We were blessed and totally lucked out!! BEST SANDWICHES we've had from there, which we never thought they could make them any better than they already are!! The meat has such flavor, that perfectly goes with their OMG GRILLED ONIONS THAT LITERALLY MELT IN YOUR MOUTH!!!! Most authentic tribute to the Philly cheesesteak imho (I'm from Iilladelph) in the Valley. Service is fast food style, and they work real hard at not making you wait too long. In Philly, the steak and onions are already piled high on the flat grill ready to slap on your preferences. Here? Made to order and does come to you hot. It's got the vibe of a cheesesteak shop except it's a little bigger dining area than some of the more traditional ones. But nice vibe with memories and memorabilia from the City of Brotherly Love. Since I worked/lived in Philly, this is the best cheese steak I've had so far that compares. I love their beverage cups on cheese wiz belongs on fries not steak and if you know what a Wawa is - you're the real deal. They have a really good flavor of beef, the fries are hot and crispy which means excellent and the staff is friendly. I really enjoyed their soft pretzel which reminds me of when I worked there - available on every food cart inside and outside - truth be told often called breakfast for me! read more

The cheese steaks are the best in scottsdale. The condiment bar with peppers , pickles are amazing. I ordered the cheese steak with onions mushrooms and cheese whiz. The roll was spot on and the ribeye was tender and flavorful. I didn't not order the onion rings but I saw an order roll past and I will definitely order them on my next visit.. Located right in Scottsdale, Corleone's gives you those Philly vibes with the way the decorate inside. I ordered the philly cheesesteak with cheese whiz and onions and decided to find a seat. The place was super dirty, which I would understand if it was busy but my friend and I were the only ones in the place. Most of the tables needed a wiping down, so I just brushed off the crumbs and took a seat. Now for the cheesesteak, the meat quality was not what i was expecting. I got a ton of gristle pieces in my meat and it kind of threw me off unfortunately. The bread held up pretty well but it's not the bread I would want with a philly. Corleone's is still the best Philly Cheese Steak, west of the Schuylkill River. I came here this evening with our oldest to enjoy a tasty treat. Tuesday nights are BOGO on all sandwiches and it's been a while since we both were here together. A Father and Daughter bonding exercise. We ordered the same thing, except differently. I had the Beef, and she had the Chicken. Oh, and a Cheese Fries chaser. Both were delicious, but we must be getting old, since we each took half home. LOL But as much as we enjoy the Cheese Steaks, we've found their pizza to be outstanding. If UR use to that thin, east coast floppy cheese pie, then this your piece of heaven. This was a pretty good sandwich and the cheese was properly folded into the steak. The outside tables are still open if you want to basically dine in.
