As usual, the Blue Burger grill always exceeds my taste buds' expectation. Everything is fantastic, really. I had the fish and chips ( went with a salad instead of fries actually) today for lunch , and it was delicious !! The fish was cooked perfectly and melted in my mouth. A nice fresh Cod white fish , and the portions were generous. You can't lose eating here. Brandon the owner is wonderful and makes sure everyone is happy. While lately we've been going to Happy Hour more often, today I stopped by for lunch with a friend. We came at 11:30 in order to beat the crowd and by noon it was almost full. We ordered a Blue Burger and an American burger. Both of us had fries. We both asked for medium rare. While they usually hit the doneness right, today both burgers were served medium rare. Not enough for me to complain but not perfect. As usual, the service was excellent. They repeatedly checked up on us and kept glasses filled. The noise level can be an issue and it was today. Hello Everyone: This is a review for Blu Burger Grille for lunch on March 27, 2026. Following is our experience and my thoughts: 1. Server: Our server, Mandy was very good. Timely with our order, items were delivered to us as ordered and she brought us more water when our water glasses were low in spite of the lunch hour being busy. 2. Drinks: There are a variety of drinks to select from, there is a bar in the Grille. But, we opted for one watermelon and one blackberry lemonade since it was over 100 degrees outside they sounded refreshing. They are $6.00 each with a $1.49 charge for a refill. Thoughts: There was not really any "lemonade" flavor to the drinks and there was not a lot of depth of flavor in the blackberry lemonade. The watermelon seemed more reminesint of watermelon, but also had a very sweet flavor, so I don't believe these were made fresh. The size of the glass was surprising for $6.00 (small) and it had quite a bit of ice. If we would have poured out the actual "lemonade" there would have been about a cup worth, so I cannot recommend this as a purchase. 3. My husband ordered the California Burger as described on the menu. I have a copy of the menu in this review for your FYI (ingredients). He asked for medium-well with regard to his beef and it was served well done. 4. We asked for our french fries to be "crispy" and they were, so kudos to the staff for getting that right! Ketchup, mustard, salt and pepper are on each table. The amount of fries served with the burgers is just right. In some places, you get a mound of fries, but we would rather have quality versus quantity. 5. I ordered a build your own burger with: beef, whole wheat bun, pepper jack cheese, pickles, lettuce, tomato, red onion and bacon. Unfortunately, I also experienced my beef burger served overcooked. It was definitely not medium well, rather it was served very well done with the outside of the burger very dry. The bacon was very chewy and tough (and this is also an extra charge). Staff got my request for the mayo toppings to be served on the side correct which I appreciated, because it was our first time at Blu Burger Grille, I did not know if I would like their mayos enough to be put all over my burger. And, they were served on the side in the small cups as you can see in the photo. Someone beside our server brought our meals to us, so I wonder if they were done and sitting on the counter contributing to the beef continuing to cook (and staff grabbed them to get them to us). 6. One of the reasons we went into the Grille was because they were advertising a new Dubai Chocolate Torte within an email sent to us that looked good. So, we tried it. Thoughts: For $14.00 a slice, we expected real whipped cream. I am not sure what the white dollops on the side of the plate were (see the photo) as they were mostly airy foam. The torte itself is more like a cookie. There was a crust on the bottom which reminded us of the crunchy part of a KitKat bar. There was a nice drizzle of chocolate on the plate to drag your fork-full through to heighten the chocolate flavor. But, I don't feel this fit the definition of a torte. It reminded me more of a cookie you would bake in a 9 X 13 pan and top with ganache. Therefore, I had a few bites and hubby ate the rest. Unless you like very sweet desserts, I would recommend ordering their gelato instead. 7. Ambiance: During the height of meal services, it is very crowded and a small space so it is very loud. If you are hard of hearing or there for a business meeting it may be difficult to hear your stablemates. Perhaps it would be best to go before or after the typical rush hours. Staff is very efficient there, when it is busy everyone is working to keep the tables turned for the next waiting guest. 8. Overall: This was not a "bad" lunch experience, it was okay, but the result being a bill for $70 for lunch we expected things to be a little more top notch. Regarding the lemonade: We were expecting lemonade with fresh watermelon muddled in it and lemonade with fresh blackberries muddled in it. Therein was the disconnect with regard to the menu and exceptions on our end. Had we known they were made from syrups, we would not have ordered them to avoid the disappointment. In reference to the whipped cream: I am not sure what brand of heavy cream is being used at the Grille, but the cream on our plate was very foamy and as you can see, there were not any peaks, not even soft peaks and very little flavor. So, I don't know if it was not whipped long enough or if it was out on the counter and was starting to break down. But, I am guessing this is not a dairy heavy cream product that is whipped fresh in the kitchen in the kitchen based on what we were served today (I cannot speak for other days). It is a very small restaurant and very few of the tables and none of the booths have any private space because they are all along a main aisle to the kitchen the bathrooms or the patio. The menu is pretty large. The burgers give you plenty of options to mix and match. Service was very attentive and professional. I heard the burger with fig jam, caramelized, onions, and swapped in Swiss cheese for the goat cheese. I think I should've left the goat cheese in as it would've counteracted the super sweet flavor of those two other items. The bacon was not crisp, and I didn't like the fact that this cheese was just thrown on their cold and was not melted on the burger itself. The bun was a little bit stale as well so all in all I give my burger a three out of five. The french fries were delicious and one of us got zucchini fries as an option, which were fantastic. Totally recommend those as well as the onion rings. The gelato/ice cream options for dessert are good. Salted caramel with chocolate caramel cups was great as well as the double chocolate. Probably will return when in the area and will probably build my own burger and probably choose a pretzel bun. read more

Blu Burger Grille is the premium spot for a tasty, well seasoned great burger. They have many choices to choose from for additional toppings, bun types, and different type of meats for their patties. Their burgers are big hence the expensive price tag that goes along with it (think $20+) But don't be afraid to indulge in their appetizers and gelato too. This time around I visited during their happy hour (2-5pm) and they had some nice deals with $3 off appetizers and $5.50 beers. Another visit!! Usually 5 stars- sadly this experience was a bit less than our usual experience. But, I guess I should have stuck with burgers. I had the shrimp pasta dish- I was told it was spicy which I am good with...This was over the top spicy. I commented that to our server- their reply was the heat could vary depending on the person preparing it....yikes!! It really had a nice flavor if it wasn't so dang hot I was sweating to death & my mouth was on fire. My husband's burger was top notch of course!! Burgers don't usually appeal to me, so I've driven by this place quite a few times. What has always stood out to me is that it's always PACKED, so in the back of my mind I knew it had to be good. I assumed it was just your standard diner-style burger and fries spot, but I was so wrong. First, the space was so clean and updated. Always a plus when you're not sitting in a sticky booth. Second, I had no idea they would have so many burger options. Not just toppings, but veggie, turkey, chicken, and for a gluten-free girly, any place that offers a lettuce wrap is a huge win for me. I got a lettuce-wrapped turkey burger, and it was easily the best turkey burger I've ever had. I also ordered the sweet potato fries, which were amazing. Before my food came out, I added a cup of soup after our server told us it was homemade and delicious, and omg... she was not lying. I seriously contemplated going back the next day for dinner. I showed up a little early and I understand they were slammed, but three other customers came and went, and they hadn't even started my food preparation 40 minutes into me ordering the food. So I would just like to respond to a previous post and response from the owner of this establishment. I'm out here visiting my brother from Nevada where we actually have establishments that are friendly and nice and treat their customers right we came into this establishment last night and we actually called to make the reservation and told whoever answered the phone that we had a service dog by the way for the record on service dogs. The ADA says the owner does not have to service water to the dog, but the dog can have a bowl with 2 ounces of water which it did and this is all legit and they had the paperwork for the dog, So which he said we just need to make sure we have the papers and prove it's a service dog. My brother is a Vietnam veteran and he has a service dog. This is the mellow dog you'd ever meet when we go out to dinner he sits by the table. You would never even know he was there. They had a tiny little bowl 2oz that had some water in it the owner also said his response that we were feeding the dog at the table. They never feed the dog when they go to a restaurant, and the dog had no food and was just laying under the table the people at the table next to us actually commented to us how good the dog was and you wouldn't even know she was there. From the second we walked in the two girls standing at the beginning of the restaurant we're making comments about us bringing a dog in the restaurant they put a blanket down for the dog. The dog laid down. You would never even know she was there. She was under the table and didn't move the whole time. We're there before we got our food, but we had already ordered. The server comes over and tells us we can't give the dog water in the restaurant and grabs the bowl and tries to take it away, which upsets my brother and she's lucky. He didn't say what he was thinking. We decided to stay she poured out his water and we didn't walk out because we had ordered our food. They gave nasty looks to my wife. they made comments behind our back and I was very upset, but we ate our food, and the food was nothing to be excited about. It was a burgers joint with overcooked burgers so they have a place outside for dogs. Any kind of dog doesn't need to be a service dog where they'll allow them but a dog that needs to be there. They're gonna treat the people that come in with this disrespect when when we called him to make the reservation, they should've told us. They didn't want the dog in their establishment and they didn't want our business because they'll never get our business again and they should be ashamed and anybody that would go here and promote their business. That's their choice cause this is America but if you're a vet or an American or somebody that needs a service dog, please avoid this place. They are not friendly no matter what the owner comes back and says to my response because they responded to my brother and that's what irritated me and now you get my response. . So in the future if you don't want dogs on your restaurant that are service dogs or any other kind of dogs posted on your door. Tell people when they call them to make reservations and tell you they have the service dog and you will have a much nicer life . Have a nice day.
