It's a Julia Morgan designed building that inherently provides a warm and welcoming ambience that doesn't require a lot added decor.

Eria Sausalito - Waterfront wedding experience

    Eria Sausalito

I know I've left a lot of positive reviews for ERIA over the years, but they continue to impress…read moreme. Recently, a close friend of mine was looking for a wedding venue, and I immediately recommended ERIA. They ended up having their ceremony at San Francisco City Hall, followed by their after party at ERIA's new Marina location. It was such a fun way to celebrate because after the reception we walked over to Bar Darling, and the catering came from Little Original Joe's. The whole evening really embraced the city, and it felt like guests got to experience San Francisco rather than just attend a wedding. The team also added so many thoughtful touches that made the night feel special. They had cookies from the upcoming La Boulange Bakery pop up as a late night treat, which everyone loved, and they even arranged for a photo booth that was a huge hit. My friends couldn't stop talking about how well everything came together, and I was secretly thrilled that my recommendation worked out so well. The next morning we headed to Sausalito for brunch at Cultivar, which was fantastic and somewhere I hadn't been before. From there we made our way to ERIA's waterfront venue, which is just as stunning as ever. They projected home videos onto a screen overlooking the water, everyone gathered with sparklers, and the whole evening felt incredibly intimate and memorable. It was such a beautiful contrast to the energy of the city the night before. One of the things I loved most about the weekend was getting to experience both locations. The Marina gave us the excitement and nightlife of San Francisco, while Sausalito offered the peaceful waterfront setting that made the celebration feel completely different. Having both experiences in one wedding weekend made it feel incredibly unique. I've been to ERIA many times now, and every event somehow feels different while maintaining the same high level of hospitality and attention to detail. If you're looking for a venue that can help create an unforgettable wedding weekend rather than just a single event, I couldn't recommend them more highly.

I recently visited this spot for an event on 4/18/26. And,I really wanted to love this space…read morebecause, at first glance, it IS beautiful. The panoramic views are stunning, and the location--right in the heart of Sausalito--is pretty much perfect. The dance floor was comfortable, the vibe was there, and it felt like it had all the makings of a great event. But here's the ik...... and it's the reason for the 2-star rating. The bathroom situation was beyond unacceptable. We're talking extremely small (only 2 stalls for the women), poorly equipped for the size of the crowd, and within 30 minutes of the event starting, the toilets were already breaking down. Not "a little slow"--completely failing. For an event with 60+ women (and drinks being served for FIVE hours), we were left with essentially ONE working toilet. Diabolical. Uncomfortable. Irritating. And it didn't get better--it got worse. Halfway through the event, the second toilet started to overflow. Yes, overflow. It was nasty, and there was no real resolution or sense of urgency from the venue to fix it. Just... left to deal with it. So while the space is undeniably pretty and well-situated, it is absolutely not equipped to handle a crowd of 125+ people. Not even close. A venue can look amazing, but if basic necessities like functioning restrooms aren't handled--and can't be remedied in real time--it completely takes away from the experience. Beautiful space, but not a place I'd trust for an event of that size again.

We had three places to choose from for our wedding and Christ Church was by far the best place imaginable! Nilo and I never dreamed of having a church wedding. We have been together in a committed same sex relationship for 19 years. When the law prohibiting same sex marriage was toppled in June 2013, we knew immediately we wanted to marry in Sausalito as it was the site of one of our first dates back in 1995 and figured prominently in our lives since then. While looking for a venue, we stumbled on Campbell Hall using a Google search. I sent an e-mail to the address listed inquiring about the Hall and within minutes received a response from the rector, Father Chip Larrimore, saying that not only could we use the Hall, we could be married in Christ Church and he would be honored to perform the ceremony. I was floored. Nilo and I, both Catholics, stopped going to Church some years ago. We had no idea the Episcopal Church was so accepting and welcoming. We went to see this incredibly beautiful church last July (2013) and met Father Chip. We knew as soon as we walked in that we would marry there and booked the date for July 4, 2014. We also started attending this beautiful church built in 1882 and became members in January 2014. Neither Nilo nor I had ever experienced such a welcoming community in our lives. We live in South Hayward and drive 57 miles every Sunday to attend Mass there with our new "faith family". While some of the reviewers listed "cons" along with their "pros", I have no "cons" to mention. Everything was incredible. While parking is limited, we hired a shuttle service which was quite reasonable to bring our guests up to the church and take them back. Pure Luxury was the service and they did a wonderful job. It took all the stress out of parking for our guests and they all had a great time on the short ride up the hill. Our reception was held at the Spinnaker Restaurant in Sausalito. Guests parked at Spinnaker and were shuttled to and from the church from there. We used Campbell Hall for lunch for our wedding party and for a short cocktail hour immediately following the wedding before our reception began. The Garden, which is adjacent to the Campbell Hall and across the street from the Church, is so beautiful and the best of our wedding photos were taken there. The entire wedding was everything I dreamed it would be and more. I am attaching some photos of the church and our wedding day there. We videotaped the wedding (although the first 6 minutes were lost...UGH!); the link is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kT0Z_5vJSMQ. Listen to Father Chip's sermon if you want to know how incredible he is as a person and as a priest. I know you will love this church as much as Nilo and I do. 100% recommended for your wedding and if you have never really been into going to church...check it out. You might be as surprised as Nilo and I were by what you find there! Feel free to contact me directly via email at thomasjohnbauer@gmail.com if you have any questions.

And on top of that, the gorgeous view of the San Francisco Bay at twilight was unforgettable. The building itself has a traditional feel and high ceilings, and the French doors on each side let in the breeze. We put the bar on the veranda, which was a great spot for those who wanted to step outside and enjoy the evening air. There's a huge, newly renovated kitchen, which my caterer loved, three bathrooms, and even a small nursery with a crib for babies. The music (sound) level was fine from my acoustic trio, and there's a built-in speaker system for those who want to use it. Many of my guests stayed in Sausalito Hotels and walked to the wedding, in historic Christ Episcopal Church across the street. I've gotten loads of compliments from guests on my unique and charming Sausalito wedding. Thank you Campbell Hall!

The clubhouse needs some more upgrades (formerly a seminary cafeteria) but with a dance floor and lighting it looked great and the outdoor space is lovely. Our guests raved about the property and amazing location. It's really stunning. Our photos are gorgeous. Venue communication: Could be much better. The coordinator seems to hand off much of her duties to the in-house catering coordinator (who is great) but which led to miscommunications that could have been avoided. Getting responses to emails was usually slow (sometimes 2 weeks!) so we would often just call directly to get answers. Not sure if this is true, but it felt like we were their first wedding. Overall we'd highly recommend the property, just be ready to be very proactive.
