Ed serviced our HVAC unit, and he was very knowledgeable and careful and found some burnt wires and probably saved our home from much bigger problems. If you haven't had your dryer vent cleaned in a while or ever, I would highly recommend it as ours was so jammed up the clothes were taking longer to dry and that in itself could've caused a fire and bigger problems than just paying to get it cleaned. I was shown pictures of the inspection and have a good grasp of home repairs, so I asked to be shown the suggested issues and the person from Four Star suddenly said oh, no big deal. Just so you know. Then when I asked about if he was going to replace the filters, he said he didn't have any and he only changes his when he remembers. And they "looked clean anyway." I'm attaching pictures to prove what a scam this company, or at least its employees, are. I then had to buy filters myself and replace them, giving less than zero value to their maintenance plan. I will be choosing a competitor from now on. I wouldn't let them change a light bulb.

I guess they are desperate to try to clean up all their negative reviews. Also, I have recordings of all our phone calls and video footage proving he did not even knock on my door (although he claimed he did). If I keep getting dishonest responses from them, I'm going to just make the publicly available online and point people there. I have had enough of being called a liar by crooked people. The phone call unprofessionalism is quite shocking. Worst "company" I have ever dealt with. Installed an HVAC and it broke down a few months later. At first it would just not keep the house warm, but then the HVAC completely died when it got really cold. I called them, and Christina was a no-show multiple times. I was polite every time I called, but Randy B. ended up calling me "trash" and then telling me to "go f*** yourself" before hanging up on me. I don't even know why he did that. I could just not pin him down to if/when he would come look at my HVAC. I guess he got mad. They didn't even register my HVAC so I had a 5-year warranty instead of the 10-year warranty I was supposed to have. Didn't leave me any documentation, didn't even tell me they didn't register it. I found out when I got another contractor to replace my compressor, which Randy should have done under warranty, but refused. He uses Christina's account to respond on here saying my review was "not accurate", yet all my phone calls are recorded and I have the proof. Then to avoid discussing what exactly is "inaccurate", they cite private information somehow as if it's HIPAA or something. There's nothing private about an HVAC install, fellas. Watch out... they operate under multiple company names and have multiple company pages on Yelp. They both wrote themselves multiple fake 5-star reviews for their own company (operating under two different company names, so be careful). I reported the 3 fake reviews that I saw on this particular company page, and Yelp said they have been removed. I'm sure their other company page has similar fake reviews. And this one may have more that I couldn't identify. Note that they have more 1-star reviews than 5-star reviews. That's should be a bad sign right there. This company is as scammy as it comes. They got my original, detailed review removed from here because I posted the exact same review to both the companies they operate that I know about. I'll make sure the reviews are distinctive this time. They escaped a lawsuit because my wife wanted out of South Carolina. Beware.
