Wonderful lunch; lived in Thailand for year and have visited since then. Meal was superb. Waitress was excellent.

We've been twice, opening night dinner for the first time. Laughably uncoordinated staff took our order 3 times. Growing pains for sure & hopefully short term for a pretty steep initial learning curve. Green curry, red curry, Nam Sod we're all wonderfully prepared. Luckily we met friends there and talked and laughed at the goings on for almost 4 hours. First impressions made us hope the family run kitchen and wait staff can fix their megga communication problems. We went back a week or so later for lunch and everything ran smoothly in part because we were now only one of two tables. Food was delicious once again. Recommendation for now if you're in a hurry is to be first or second through the door. Otherwise, if you have time (at least for the first couple of weeks), the entrees are really superb. read more

I'm giving this place a 3 for a few reasons. The crab rangoons were very basic. They were good but not worth 10$ in my opinion. The fresh rolls weren't very flavorful. They were full of noodles. I was not a fan of either of the sauces. I like my peanut sauce creamier and the other sauce wasn't all that great. They do have the best pad Thai I have had in auburn so far. Their fried rice was good as well. The prices are a little high for me. I was really hoping for a cheap Thai spot that had great food. I will be back to try it again though. The food here was delicious but it took us over an hour to get our food with very littleinformation coming from our waiter who didn't seem to know much about the food or when we would get our food. He actually said I have no idea. We did get our food after an hour and we found out that the waiter had not turned in our order. They sent us an another order of egg rolls which we had had already and took $4 off our bill.... The communication was poor at best and no compensation for the wait. It will be a long time before we go back if ever. read more

We had to wait for a bit for our food, but it's only because they are still working out a few kinks since they just recently opened. The staff were incredibly nice ! The flavors are complex and delicious with just the right amount of spice( I went with level 2, hubby went for level 3 ). We ordered the drunken noodles and pad tangy- 10/10! Favorite restaurant in auburn or Opelika, hands down. Been here several times and it's always been a flawless experience. Best Thai food I've ever had (pad thai, curry, larb, drinks, appetizers, all A++), plus the prices are great, the atmosphere is nice and elegant, and the service has always been fantastic (even on busy nights when they're understaffed) It's also the only restaurant I've ever been to where I can get Thai tea/coffee made vegan, and the servers are super helpful and understanding with dietary restrictions. If you go here, tip well, these guys really deserve it. read more

This place is a great Thai place in auburn. Super lowkey and heard about it through the grape vine. I had the pad Thai and it was really my first time having Thai food and it was amazing! The guy working was super cool and nice and could really tell he loved having people coming in and supporting. He even brought us out some samples of the jerky and it was AMAZING. We have visited the Thai Kitchen many times. From the very first visit we noticed that they have a problem getting everyone's meal out at the same time. some as much as 10 to 15 minutes apart. We have stuck it out, because the food is very good. But this visit was the final straw! We were celebrating a friend's birthday and the Thai Kitchen was where the birthday person wanted to go. There was four total in our party. When we were seated, we had many tables to choose from, for the most part. So the area we sat in had several empty tables around us. We did not have a good feeling when the waitress that greeted us clearly did not know the menu or the drink selection. She told us they did not have a certain beverage, that we had ordered during all the previous visits, and brought us the beverages we knew they had all along. Then told us they were out of egg rolls. Then we saw someone else that came in after us get egg rolls delivered to their table. when we questioned it, the waitress told us that she was wrong and they do have them...but she never came back and offered them to us. This waitress was totally confused the entire time of our visit. Then after an hour and a half wait, we finally got part of the food we ordered. Food for only one guest. Then about 10 minutes later another guest got their food ordered. So this now left two guests without their plates. We once again questioned it, and was told they were working on it. Finally at least 15 more minutes passed and we asked for management. The female that came to our table never introduced herself, but from past visits we believe she his the daughter of the owner and/or cook. She showed no remorse for our super long wait, or the fact of the tremendous difference in food arrival. She was to check out the problem. Many more minutes passed and they kept bringing out food for customers that had arrived after we did. What made it worse was the fact a table of customers that came in after we did, had eaten, paid their bill and left. At this moment I let the management person know that they had lost four customers..FOR GOOD! We exited the restaurant, never to return. There are too many good restaurants that truly appreciate your business out there. read more

The food itself is great! Love the pad Thai and panang curry. However, the price for Thai food is very expensive, and serving sizes just keep getting smaller. Water tastes a little strange as well. Love this place, but wish it provided more value for the price. Maybe more people would come in as well if it was more reasonably priced read more

We took two attempts to eat here. First time, one of servers stopped as at the door steps and said they are taking reservations as they don't have enough servers. Ok, it's a new plays they are figuring out the whole thing, so we gave them another try. Today, I made a reservation over the phone, it took 10 min and about 6 attempts to call them until someone finally picked up. Again, whatever, I was excited to be able to eat there, finally. We ordered calamari and seaweed salad as appetizers. Both were meh...calamari was cut too thick and was rubbery, seaweed salad had funny taste (lard?). My hubby ordered that tea and he said it was OK, a bit too sweet. Then, we ordered main dishes, me: spicy basil chicken with fried rice. It was supposed to be served with some mint... Well, it wasn't. Hubby ordered nuddles with grilled chicken. It was supposed to be served with spring roll and crushed peanuts on a side... It wasn't... What a disappointment. We called our sever and asked if there was perhaps a mistake with our order.. Indeed, the forgot a spring roll...but what about the other things? Food was very spicy even though we asked to be medium spiced, but it is a relative thing, so that part I can understand. Overall, we are not coming back and we were both pretty disappointed. Auburn needs good rest, but this ain't one. read more

Best Thai food in town but the WORST service from the kitchen.... Told a 45 minute wait and other people got served their takeout before me who got there after me, people inside sitting down got served their food before us... I ended up waiting almost 2 hours for food. The waiters said the kitchen was fighting and one waiter said I would get something comped for waiting so long but the manager (?) Still made me pay full price. I don't think we'll be going back. I wish someone wouldve been honest about the wait time. read more

Authentic and delicious! Great new family owned and operated restaurant across from Auburn mall behind Waffle House. This is the only place I will go for my favorite Thai soup: Tom Yum! Also beautiful interior! read more
