The front desk rep was extremely unapologetic and rude and told us we should have gotten a written statement for the free day pass?! What?! I'm extremely disappointed at the lack of customer service. I was so excited to try this gym but for $29.99 for a day pass, I'll pass. After we were disappointed and left, the front desk rep didn't even care. Even an apology would have gone a long way but hey that might cost me another $29,99!

They have a good location in the corner of a shopping center, ample parking, and overall friendly staff. I was excited to start using my Groupon, but for some reason the management made it very difficult for me to do so. The instructions were to go to their website and sign up for all of your courses. I logged in and created the entire class schedule I wanted. It was very convenient until one day when I received an email from the studio saying they deleted all of my future reservations due to a new policy they were implementing regarding Groupon purchasers. I was told that I needed to re-register for each week every Sunday. So not only was my nice schedule I had carefully created gone but now I had to sign on weekly and hope the classes I was previously registered for weren't full by the time I re-booked them. Talk about inconvenience! I was very turned off by this as it did not seem they were catering to the customers but rather to their own convenience. There were also multiple occasions where I signed up for a class and then received an email right before it saying it had been canceled. The management seemed unorganized which gives the customer the impression that this place is unprofessional. That being said- the actual classes were great! I burned tons of calories in Zumba while simultaneously learning that I truly do possess no rhythm once so ever during Stiletto Strut. The instructors put you at ease and really teach you how to have fun while getting a great workout. I truly enjoyed every class I attended. They also offered specialty classes for different occasions such as Valentine's Day. To sum up this place- the instructors are great, you get a great workout and they are fun and knowledgeable. I would give them 4 stars. The management seems like they don't know what they are doing. I give them 2 stars. Total for this studio = 3 stars.

I've been to about a dozen classes since, all of the "Sexy Fit" variety. The regular instructors I've had are top notch. HOWEVER there's one who subs in sometimes who knows her stuff, but makes her up her routine in the middle of class and often confuses herself (and us) while trying to walk us through the routine! If not for that I probably would have awarded this place five stars. Sorry. If you're interested in just trying out a Sexy FIt class or two, they offer drop-in classes in the realm of 15 or so dollars. And to get the most bang for your buck, heed the following... Best workouts for: STRENGTH:: PoleworX As of reviewing the class was scheduled only once a week, Tuesdays at 7:30pm. Crystal, the instructor, is super peppy and leads you through an energizing dance aerobics warm-up, and then a series of strength drills using the wall, chair, and occasionally the pole itself. It was really cool to learn new exercises that I can do at home (with the exception of the ones using the pole, of course). The main area of improvement for this class is that difficulty varies by week and by whoever's attending; one session I went to was significantly less strenuous than the other sessions, I think because there were a lot of first-timers who were discouraged by the initial difficulty of some of the exercises early on in the class. CARDIO:: Zumba Me 5 minutes into this class: "Holy crap I don't know why I thought this was a good idea I am not a dancer does this instructor lady ever stop moving" My thoughts at the end: "Holy crap I am still not a dancer but I am COVERED IN SWEAT and I'm going to be sore tomorrow". I don't know the instructor's name, but she is DYNAMITE. Her energy is amazing, and as a consequence so are the classes. I attended two of these, and the music each week is the same or very similar, but that was very helpful to me because, as I mentioned earlier, I am NOT a dancer--choreography is not my thing, and memorizing moves is painful and embarrassing. However, for each brief song, there are only a handful of characteristic moves, so I spent maybe only 80% of the song fumbling and the last 20% actually "getting" what was going on. But really, the best part of the class is that there's no judgment here (and this goes for the rest of the classes the studio offers as well)--you do what you can, earnestly and energetically, and that's good enough. Other classes: Lapdance: Lakita usually teaches this, I'm told, but she's only taught 1/3 of these classes I attended and she was SO friendly and supportive. Moreover, she offered crystal-clear guidance/instructions. Main caveats to this class: 1) I personally found the stiletto strut (jauntily walking across the room in heels) at the beginning a bit annoying. I am not an athlete by any means but I guess my mindset in this case comes close to one--namely, if I wanted to practice walking in heels (and get some kind of workout in them, presumably), I would have signed up for the actual "Stiletto Strut" class. 2) In Lakita's class the music was TOO LOUD. Bring earplugs. I'm serious. I was covering my ears for as much of the class as I could. Pole Prelude Kind of a fun little intro class to what you can do with the pole-- good for beginners, but not much of a workout. Sensual Pole Flow I only attended one of these, but loved it! My hips were sore the next day in places I didn't even know I had muscle, which is awesome. It's also a good class to try and master some of the trickier moves that require some more coordination.

First month was amazing and i saw results on my measurement. I decided to keep up with it and lost a little over 30lbs and was feeling wonderful. I unfortunately due to an injury had to pull back, but what i witnessed at this gym was beyond great. The two JNS brothers are in this for one reason and one reason only, they want to see people do well. I have seen them there at all hours of the day, and i have seen them go out of their way to help someone in need. They provide the encouragement, accountability and knowledge that is needed for a healthy lifestyle change. This is not an easy journey, but with the help of JNS staff and owners, the journey can be obtained. Listening to their recommendation and believe there recommendation and routines and you will be able to achieve success.

Over a year ago, I was a member at this gym and had a personal trainer. However, I had to relocate from the area for work and could not complete my sessions, so I canceled my membership and the remaining private training sessions. Fast forward to this week, my checking account was charged without permission, and when contacting the gym, I was told this was because of new ownership. My problem, however, is that they should not have authorized any charges, given that I canceled my membership over a year ago. When calling to request documentation and proof that I would receive a refund, I was told I "lacked patience" and would have to wait. This is highly unprofessional and illegal. I would be weary of joining this gym as they conduct business poorly.

The gym is basically like a Tardis, bigger on the inside! I have extreme anxiety about going to gyms when they're absolutely packed, and refreshingly there weren't a TON of people taking up all the machines. I went around 11:30am on a Tuesday. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a very friendly staff member. He made sure I was taken care of and let me know where the bathrooms and water fountains were while I waited for Bailey. The gym is CLEAN. Very nice aesthetic and not overwhelming. I forgot to ask, but I think they offer boxing? There's a boxing ring in the middle of the gym. That was awesome to see and very rare! My workout with Bailey was INTENSE, but in the best way. He pushed me past the limit that I thought I could do, but made sure I was always comfortable and not in pain where my injuries are. 10/10 will definitely be coming back!

I joined Kinetix Fitness in Jan 2025 as it was walking distance from my home residence. The gym has…read morefriendly staff and a laid-back atmosphere of members looking to come in, work out, and go on with their daily activities. My membership was going great up until a recent unexpected note in August 2025 that the gym's lease had ended and would need to move a location further away. Their initial email notice on August 8th at 325pm CST was clear and transparent, but the follow-up to members was not clear and timely as expected. I sent a follow up email on September 3rd, 2025, to find out when the new location will be open as we did not get an update since August 8th, 2025. I got a reply on September 6th, 2025, advising that they will not make the September 8th, 2025, target date and it would be extended due to a reassessment review from the fire marshal. The same day, September 6th, 2025, Kinetix sent a note to all members with the update plus charging September membership. At first, I understood the reasoning for the delay, but I did not agree that Kinetix would charge members for the month of September since the facility is still closed and provided no supplement to members that did not have access to a gym. After careful consideration, I decided to cancel my membership and request my September charge be refunded/prorated since they charged my account for a facility that is not operable. I am not sure when they will be open, but as of right now the gym is still temporarily closed on November 3rd 2025. It is unfortunate that the gym had to move and have a temporary closure, but I do not agree with charging memberships in September when the gym is closed. I would have appreciated not charging members accounts till facility is back up and running since they closed at the end of August 2025. My account has been cancelled, but now I am requesting my September charge be refunded and awaiting a reply. Neal advised on September 19th, 2025, that the request has been submitted and it may take a billing cycle to my account. Another follow up was provided by Neal on October 16th, 2025, to resolve after multiple emails, and still now no refund has been provided. I am sure I am not the only one that is dealing with these unfortunate issues, but I wanted to share my review/experience to those that may be thinking about joining Kinetix in the future. I do not recommend this gym as there are cheaper and much better options in the area.
