I got opportunity to go to Row house using my ClassPass subscription and this is a place I'll definitely come back to. Let's start with my Instructor Jim: I got there about 15 minutes early and Jim took the time to walk me through everything I would need to know. I have rowed before independently but I expressed that I didn't really understand the mechanics and Jim one-on-one coached me on how to do it correctly before class. During class, everyone was very supportive and Jim kept an amazing energy, making everyone feel pumped and energized. I love the team like mentality. The facility is super clean. I loved the portions where we were stopped rowing to do some free weight movements. I'll be back!! read more

We loved the welcoming and friendly environment! As soon as we walked in the door, we were greeted with an uplifting kindness that had the power to change anyone's day immediately. My fiancé and I had never done an official row class before, just played around on the machines here and there, and we were super excited to give it a try. Both the instructor and the owner (I'm pretty sure she was the owner, at least!) made sure we were situated properly, including getting us set up on our row machines. Additionally, they also guided us through the techniques and made sure what we had the proper form before class started. I really, really appreciated this!! The class itself reminded me of a spin class as it was dark with loud music, colorful lights and included an upbeat instructor cheering us on the entire time. I loved it! I love the atmosphere of comradery that the employees of Row House create amongst the participants. The coaches are encouraging and instructive throughout the rowing sessions, emphasizing proper form and keeping the challenges fun for the group. The whole place has a great vibe, making newcomers feel welcome and capable. I was in the door as the clock hit 8:02 for an 8am class and they wouldn't let me in.

I want to speak to the quality of the staff here at this location. I had joined a while ago because I love group training and rowing, so this was a great option. Unfortunately I could only commit for a month or so before changes in professional life had me unable to continue with RH. I cancelled my membership and that was that. Fast forward to middle of COVID-19, nearly a year since I cancelled my membership and I noticed that I had been accidentally charged by RH. I emailed them and wasn't expecting a follow up anytime soon because they, like the rest of the world, were closed. Imagine my surprise when I get a phone call from Brian, (I assume the owner?), personally apologizing and refunding me. This level of customer service is wonderful to see, and I definitely applaud the team at RH Bellaire. Definitely go check them out! read more

AMAZING workout, facility, owners, & coaches! And this is coming from someone who wasn't the biggest fan of rowing... before today. If you have the chance to check it out, do it! It's totally inclusive - all fitness levels, age groups, etc which is a plus especially if you're bringing that friend that "doesn't DO fitness." The place JUST opened this location in Houston (Bellaire area) this weekend and the classes are already close to capacity. Definitely will be back. Other bonuses/amenities include Ample parking, great swag, clean and spacious restrooms, locker, and the membership rates are super competitive...plus the opening specials are worth giving them a look of IG or via the website. I randomly found out about this place through a promotion at our local Athleta. I took my first class today and thoroughly enjoyed it. The owners are very friendly and inclusive. The instructor, Julie was extremely welcoming and oriented me with the machine prior to the class. She was very enthusiastic and motivational in a very genuine way.
