He agreed to give my son an hour lesson. My son went and enjoyed himself. ----- All they care about is what they can extract from you in the moment. It's quite odd that they would rather take $50 today instead of nurturing a long term relationship. Previously we had some good experiences and used them during off season, even did a camp with them. My son couldn't find his equipment before the lesson, so I tried to call to see if we'd need it or not. However, we had the first slot of the day. So I called as soon as they opened, but they didn't pick up and it went to voicemail. We got someone to borrow the equipment and raced over. By the time we got there, they had given my son's appointment slot to another kid... And TOOK our $50 for the lesson. They refused to let us make it up. Even though we made the appointment last night and all thier slots were open and they weren't available for us to see what Thier policy is, etc. I just found the coach who was now busy with another kid during our time slot and the manager incredibly poor at customer service. It left a really bad taste in my mouth. To top it off, it was a birthday present from his aunt!! They didn't care. They stuck to thier policy and we're uncaring, showing no empathy. So we will never go back again. In the end they took our$50, but lost out on hundreds more over the next 3 years.

Also, this gym is right down the street from my house. I could really save time and gas money to get here in short notice. Initially, I met someone at a pride festival showing off his muscles to the crowd. He introduced me to this location. I couldn't believe this gym just opened in May 2025. They are desperately looking for clients. I am not a full member yet. I came here as a trial guest. I really liked it. Because the air conditioning was working on the workout floor. There is plenty of parking and it's lit up at night. That makes me comfortable to come at night. I believe it truly opens 24/7 because I was here on the eve of Fourth of July. The parking lot was crowded and people were going in and out of the place. All machines are more modern compared to 24 Hour Fitness. There are a couple of Smith Machines (weight training apparatus with a barbell fixed within steel rails, allowing only vertical movement), which is my favorite. However, I saw a couple of out of order machines by the wall. The men's locker room was below my standard. There are only 34 lockers and very small. The shower stall is also small and there's no place for soap. The layout is very awkward. There are 3 levels of membership. The basic one is very affordable. Fancy ones allow you to access other amenities, which I don't have need for. I will be back to try 2 more times before joining possible this year.

I've been here all parts of the day and I thought it would just be hot during peak hours because of the amount of people in the gym, but it's also hot at 2pm when there are like 15-20 ppl there. Not to mention, they don't take maintain their equipment, machines break pretty often, and when they do they won't be repaired until maybe 2 months later. It's honestly laughable because when I used to go there the weighted dip machine broke in June and wasn't fixed until august.
