Last night we attended the 830 show! It was good! Would have been better I think if we had been at…read morean event with less high schoolers. Seemed to be a theater class there. They were fine and respectful just felt like the comics held back a little because it was kids. We will def go back for a 21 up show. We will won these tickets over Christmas so it was a nice surprise to get to do something in our own town that we had not done. The comics were good we had great laughs. Looking forward to going back. They had a good drink selection as well.

I love a good improv show so I was happy to find Front Porch while I was in town for a couple days…read more I was surprised to see a show so late, but it gave us a chance to still do something fun after dinner. The show we went to seemed to be like an add on show from the main event just before. They seemed surprised that we showed up for just the late show only. Anyway, it was a beginners improv night with some guidance from the regular players. We had a lot of laughs even though it was only about 40 mins. Next time I'll come for one of the regular shows because everyone was so nice and I really enjoyed the space.

Danny Moron and Danni Moron, the Moron Twins were a great duo to entertain the group…read more It's nonstop laughter from start to finish as the duo cracked jokes that interlaced with each other in a smooth delivery. They incorporated material from guests on the bus and peppered laughs throughout the tour. It was irreverent, a little raunchy in just the right way to make you blush. One of the highlights include Danny existing the bus and taking the show to the street with innocent bystanders becoming part of the show, all while narrated inside by Danni. We covered several blocks with Danny running through the streets and squares while we laughed in the air conditioned trolly. A great show, must do when visiting Savannah... and you'll learn a little history too... but much, but just enough.

They skillfully wove in fascinating historical facts about Savannah while keeping us laughing the whole way around the city. A quick heads-up: the humor does get a little risqué at times, so it's definitely not for the faint of heart! The highlight (or should I say lowlight for my husband's dignity) was when he received an unforgettable "lap dance"--or more accurately, a face dance. I've never seen his face turn quite that shade of red or heard him laugh so hard. It was priceless. If you're looking for a fun, lighthearted break from the everyday routine with a good dose of levity, we highly recommend this tour. It's a hilarious way to see and learn about Savannah!

I found that TAB was kinda on my route back to the hotel so I headed that way on a solo adventure. Unlike the droves of other bars nearby, this one is tucked away by itself and downstairs in a basement. The vibe is all 80's/90's and heavy on nostalgia for millennials. I loved the beetlejuice snake popping in and out of the ceiling! There is a whole room of pool tables, a section of arcade games, and other fun activities like a photo booth. Maybe it's because I was in a good mood and a few cocktails deep, but the DJ was crushing it. He finished up with karaoke right as I arrived, but for the rest of the night he kept the energy high with amazing mixes. I couldn't bear to miss any jams so I ended up staying until close and finishing out the night. I can't wait for my next visit to SAV to come back.

There's literally a photo-booth, pool tables, arcade games and a bar with great drink options which are very reasonable. The bartender was very attentive and assertive to what we needed. We literally just had a great time for hours and the bartender was so helpful in just including himself in on our shenanigans and even taking our pictures when needed. I really love the old school decor. You can find everything from a VCR to the old school TV shows playing in the background, old school games, they even had this scary looking doll lamp and different nik knacks throughout the location. The bathroom was super cute with different paintings on the wall and it was so clean and not expected of what you would see in a bar. I definitely want to come back for karaoke or some of the other themed nights.

Frustrating experience at Johnny Mercer Theater…read more At the theater to see Hadesens musical. There are several things that need major help. The line to get in the theater was ridiculously long. There were only three metal detectors, people were trying to get in theater from everywhere. The seating isn't elevated enough where you can see around the person in front of you. Parking of course was ridiculous, to be expected, but there should have been someone directing traffic. Oh and I called the non emergency number for assistance to get exit the parking garage and they were unable to assist. assistance with leaving the parking garage. We have been here waiting more than an hour. Do better Johnny Mercer if you want to keep people coming to theater.
