I asked where the finger rolls were, and she said they changed companies and didn't have them any more. I was upset, but I was able to get some fresher sub rolls, and I will make do with those. By this time the girl had walked off without another word...I was upset, but polite, but I certainly won't be ordering any more rolls from that store. I have a lot of health concerns so a store like this is just what I need, and while visiting recently I popped back in to see what was up. I was immediately greeted by several staff members who apologized for their disarray - they were redoing the store and a lot of stuff was moved around and under construction. I let them know I'd been there before and had been passing through to check the place out again, and she was so relieved I had seen them before their current state. While we didn't really need any food, my boyfriend and I couldn't resist grabbing some whoopie pies on our way out. They were fairly inexpensive, and I was happy to see they were made by Hungry Hollow up on 26. The cashier told us her favorite was the pumpkin, as we had gotten that and the chocolate. Once we ate them later we wished more were purchased, because (sorry auntie!) those were the best whoopie pies I've ever had.

There was plenty of produce, meats, snacks, and more to choose from. They even have an entire aisle full of beer, seltzers, and other canned beverages plus, an aisle worth of wine. I also spotted aperol here (not sure of the price) which was surprising since many of the nearby liquor stores or convenience stores didn't seem to have any. One thing to note, and this is especially important for those of us traveling from out of state who don't have grocery stores that sell booze (looking at you, Marylanders), everyone who is with you will need to show valid ID. The three of us all helped shop and load the groceries into check out and we weren't aware that we all needed to show ID even though only one of us was making the purchase. I made the silly mistake of leaving my wallet behind but showed a picture of my ID to the staff who reluctantly told me it was fine but to just not handle any of the booze myself. Oops! Lesson learned for next time.

I was definitely confused by the new layout however felt that it gave a fresh and clean look to the store. The true reason behind my review today is due to the two nice individuals who helped me at self-checkout, one who simply just helped me remove an item that I have double-scanned and the other was one of the managers who helped adjust the price for an item that was scanning in more expensive than the price label indicated it was. They were so understanding and fixed the problem with ease-- I really appreciated it! As I mentioned above, I typically choose to use my Walmart+ for delivery over going to the store so do not have many experiences to speak on but I do know that if I ever do need to step foot in a Walmart again, I will be choosing the Walmart location over Auburn any day.

My husband is one of the kindest people on earth, but he relies on a good battery for his tractor. We will definitely go to Tractor supply, and I will go to Hannafords for my groceries. Not worth the few dollars I save there. Why they didn't test the battery themselves when he returned it, is beyond me. Makes me wonder if they have neglected my car in some way. I buy all my husband's snacks for the week. I just bought cranberry juice there 6 pack bottles of 100% juice. $2.50 a six pack. No way you're going to come close to that price anywhere else. They have a baking isle with good brand name products such as nestle chocolate chips and sugar flour and spices. They have coffee, k-cups and tea. They have a vegetable and condiments isle with soups and spaghetti sauce. I got a glass jar of pasta sauce and very good brand name for $2.00 and change. It's almost $6.00 at other stores. And they also have fresh bakery good when you first come through the door with cookies and fresh baked pies as well as bread and rolls. Homemade jars of pickles and jams as well as honey and maple syrup. I can't say enough about this store. I can fill a cart for around $150.00 with everything from breads, cereals, frozen foods, snacks, canned vegetables, coffees, baking goods and more. I went to my local grocery store the other day and 2 bags cost me over $70.00. Now I'm not saying anything bad about other stores, but just want to express the difference in the savings by shopping here. The store is clean, bathroom facilities are clean which is nice as I have a 40 minute drive to get there from home but it is worth it. I actually get excited every week to go because i know I'm saving a ton of money but it's also exciting because every week I go they will always have different items they didn't have the week before. Like this past week they had the cranberry juice and my cinnamon Cheerios with the granola. They had my husband's favorite granola bars with yogurt and they even have his protein and cliff bars most weeks. They also have toilet paper, laundry detergent, health and beauty items and trash bags, paper plates, diapers, dog food, cat food, dog treats and more. You can get about anything you need here. The clothing is cheaper than buying it at one of the gift shops down on the causeway. The negatives are that the parking lot gets very crowded on Saturdays in the summer and it can be tough to park a big truck in there. The check out lines can also get long especially on the far side of the store where they sell the cigarettes. Avoid that line if you can!
