I do it because it's the closest store to my house... This Raley's sucks so bad I'm starting to actually like Save Mart. I will not be shopping here any longer. They had only 1 heavy whipping cream option available, and the expiry date was in two days (today is the 14th, expiry date is the 16th) yet there was no discount. I asked the manager if I could have a discount... after all, I would buy another brand I'd they had one available. No discount, the manager says something about how they will get dinged for it... so f**k me, the customer, right? The manager says that the cream won't magically go bad on the 16th. So next week when my cream goes bad, I should bring it back to the store so he can have a sniff, I guess. I loathe how this store has outrageous prices, consistently sub-par produce, and bad customer service. Their checkout lines will literally be 8 customers deep and they WILL NOT open a new lane. Why is it that COST LESS GROCERIES has better produce and service than RALEY'S???? Why does Raley's hate its customers? My mom used to shop at the location in Century Center when I was a kid, and I have been shopping at Raley's since I've had my own money. Well, not any more. This company has gone downhill.

They should have been stopped at the door but the 3 cashiers at the front of the store let them all come in. They walked their bikes to the back of the store by the milk and eggs and started riding wheelies on their bikes and making everybody get out of their way. I couldn't find 1 worker at the back of the store and had to go find a cashier at the front of the store to let her know. I asked her if she seen the kids on their bikes come into the store and she said yes. I said well they are riding wheelies at the back of the store so she announced it on the loudspeaker. When she did the kids riding their bikes heard it and started leaving knocking everything off of the store shelves . In the meantime all of the other store employees came out of the back room of the store and had to pick all of the store products off of the floor. My complaint is why were they even allowed to bring their bikes in the store ? Put a bike rack outside and make them leave their bikes outside.

What I found is that they have quite a melange of products for sale here and most of them reasonably priced. I hit the jackpot when I located the Fancy Feast Pate variety kitty food. Eureka! Two for the price of one at .50 cents each. I also hit pay dirt on the Pure Harmony wet cat-food as well. .50 cents each. Purina Beyond, grain free Texas Beef Recipe wet dog food was a steal at .75 cents each 13 oz. tin. They have a freezer section here as well which keeps ice cream in particular frozen. They have a good selection of dry boxed cereal. Some of the boxes are smashed or dented but so far the bran flakes me and my Mom dine on are a steal at $.99-$1.50 each. The only area I think that I would like to see improved is the area at the check-out. There are 2 registers and two different lines but so far on both trips here, only one register and cashier can be seen checking patrons out. Even with a line which was consistent on both trips here; they didn't open the other register. One more area too is that of a itemized receipt. The receipt when looking at it has just prices and a generic if any description of the items. For me, a person who purchases Purina brand foods for my fur babies and participates in the "Member" part of the companies give-a-ways which require a paid receipt in order to receive rewards; unfortunately with the way the current system is; I don't qualify for my rewards (Purina) submission like this. Other than this; it's a solid store and worth looking into. They sell candy; name brands as well and ground coffee and more.

What is happening here?…read more I decided to go inside last night, and the first thing that hit me was the smell. The entire place smelled like a dog groomer's shop almost like wet dog mixed with shampoo. Maybe it's wet towels or a drainage issue, but it was definitely noticeable. The next issue was the ordering process. Apparently, they no longer take your order by the toppings glass, but no one bothered to mention that. In fact, the 5-8 staff members who walked by us including the manager in the pink shirt never acknowledged us at all. No "Hello," no "Welcome in," nothing. Not exactly the example I'd expect a manager to set. We ordered two mini yogurts with lids, two sides of Heath topping, and a couple of other items. When our order was placed on the counter, neither yogurt had a lid, and none of the toppings were included. The employee walked away, and we had to wait for her to return so we could ask for the toppings and lids. When she finally came back, she handed us the toppings with what felt like a passive-aggressive attitude. One container was full, while the other was only about a quarter full and tossed into a bag. When I asked for the lids, she smirked and said, "They're in the bag." Maybe they were, but it would have taken very little effort to either finish the order properly by putting the lids on the yogurts or simply hand them to me when I asked. Unfortunately, the lack of customer service and attention to detail made for a disappointing experience. The Roseburg Square and Pelandale locations have always been much more welcoming and professional.

The people that work at the store are so nice. For a store that's called an outlet, I would not expect the employees because to be as nice as they are. On two separate occasions, I was looking for items that were not on the counter. One lady found me blue cheese in the back. The other guy looked around for okra, but they didn't have it. He didn't mention that they had it at one time. I love the giant avocados and mangoes. If you're a Stan state student or employee with an ID, you also get 10% off on Wednesdays. I like this little store. I always find something new. And I am treated like a valued customer.

The young man also discredited our reward, for we had $5 off. I thought cold stone encouraged employees to be kind and welcoming to all costumers.
