Brunch with a little extra soufflé of joy @savoieeatery weekend brunch is served Saturday & Sunday until 2 PM, and it's the kind you linger over. The soufflé pancakes are light and elegant, the steak & eggs are perfectly satisfying, the menudo is comforting in all the right ways, and the green juice keeps it fresh and balanced. A polished brunch that still feels warm and inviting. The staff is soo friendly friendly and the atmosphere is really inviting.

I took my daughter-in-law to a girl's brunch to this location and we weren't disappointed. The aesthetic of the restaurant was amazing! It's just beautiful! The food was delicious & if you're in the mood for soufflé pancakes, this is the place to go! We tried different things on the menu and everything was scrumptious. The staff were very attentive and polite and made us feel at home! 5/5 stars!!

Kind of hard to find if you're not familiar with the shopping center but it is right across from the movie theaters if that helps. There's plenty of parking on that side. Came here for brunch with a group of 7 this past Sunday. We all opted in bottomless mimosas for $25/person if you order an entree. The service and food took kind of long although it wasn't too busy. But once everything came out and we got orders in, everything started flowing. Our waitress was a nice young Asian girl so sorry I didn't get her name but she was helping us our entire time. She kept the bubblies flowing the entire time and was on point we never had to wait to be refilled. The food was okay it's basic American/Mexican breakfast foods that I'm not too big of a fan of so it was just okay to me. Hence the name I'd thought there would've been more Italian foods but maybe because it was brunch so maybe the Italian foods were more so dinner items. Would love to see and check out their dinner menu now.

Cucumber & Lychee Martinis. Dangerously deliciously delightful!

Savoie, the place across from the AMC Otay Ranch, is what I've always called it. Now, it's our go-to after the movies. And what better way to cheer yourself back up after watching a front-kick-right-in-the-feels cinematic masterpiece, Rental Family. Give Brendan Fraser all of the awards! NOW! We had each previously been there before, but this was our first time together. And lucky us, we just made the tail end of the brunch menu. Our hostess sat us in a nice booth considering we were walk-ins, like the weary traveler looking for a place to rest their feet requiring sustenance after a long journey! (Honestly, it was like 100 ft from the theater to the restaurant entrance). Our server showed up like The Flash to take our drink orders! And when she came back w/ our drinks, took our food orders post haste! Excellent service! Hellooooo, cocktails! My phenomenally photogenically pleasing partner of precious perfection chose the rather refreshing Cucumber Martini. I went with the Lychee Martini, because why not add a little zest to life?! Both were exquisite concoctions of liquid bliss. Some things just mix well, like my beautiful brunch date & I. The food! Rib-Eye Steak with vegetables & (substituted out potatoes) truffle parmesan fries was the obvious choice to replenish our protein deficiency after a rather exuberant weekend! I think they gave us the entire side of the cow, as the portion was massive! The leftovers made an excellent munchie meal that evening. *Rib-Eye was an improv choice & not part of Brunch Menu. I need to add a distinguished mention for Hannah, because she found & held my girlfriend's sunglasses overnight & I was able to swing by this morning to get them. The food was so good, we forgot our belongings! TL:DR - Brendan Fraser rules! Saturday Afternoon Steak is always an excellent choice! Carpe Diemartini!!

It was our first time sitting down for Sunday Brunch at Savoie on a beautiful day. Let's start with the service. Our drinks and food came out pretty quickly. Our napkins and silverware that were on the table were dirty, but we were quickly brought clean ones. We enjoyed our brunch items of chilaquiles and soufflé pancakes. Unfortunately, the avocado toast was not the best. It was soggy and the bread felt like it was not toasted. What would have made it a 5 star? We expect brunch to be overpriced, but there was not a wow factor for what we paid. Ambiance was loud, but not in a good way to enjoy a nice brunch conversation.

We tried Savoie's brunch and for sure we are coming back. Ordered: Souffle Pancakes - fluffy and delicious pancakes with whipped cream/berries. 5/5 Savoi Benedict - perfect runny eggs the way I like it. Creamy, rich and buttery hollandaise sauce. I wished the crab/lobster/shrimp mixture had more seasoning on it. 4/5 Classic Breakfast - nothing special. Two over easy eggs, crispy bacon and well seasoned breakfast potatoes! 4/5 Cappuccino- 3/5 Orange Juice - 5/5 Highly recommended with their welcoming atmosphere, outstanding customer service and delicious food!

Enjoyed brunch and bottomless mimosas here with my family. We ordered the Savoie Benedict, The Special, The Incredible Soufflé Pancakes, and The Machaca. Everything was delicious! The waitress did inform us that the soufflé pancakes do take a little longer to make compared to the other dishes and it was worth the wait. The staff was so friendly and kept making sure we were doing fine and also make sure we always had refills on our mimosas. This restaurant is really big, lots of different seating settings. We enjoyed our time and will definitely be back especially for the bottomless mimosas!

Had brunch with the family. My mother-in-law noted that it is a beautiful restaurant and nice ambiance. Service was a little slow, but very friendly and efficient. The Italian Frittata was pretty special, but I wish they had more fruit. Our family also ordered the Eggs Benedict, Steak & Fries, and Classic Breakfast -- all were delicious. But if you like sausage and pepperoni, try the Frittata... it was so good.

My husband gave me the best birthday! Savoie, the people, Mario, our server Brandy, the gentlemen delivering food, wine, so awesome! I appreciate them so much, it helped my friends and I to have a wonderful birthday! I recommend them highly!

The menu- no warning about the 45 minute soufflé pancakes

What is this place? Mexican? French? Italian? It's pretty random. Service was friendly but sparse and a bit adversarial. Had a reservation, arrived on time - made to wait 1hr 15 minutes. No drinks or water or hospitality other than- stand here and look like peasants. Got the bill - not even a discount or dessert or a birthday mention (the entire reason we had a large group and made a reservation!!!). The overall experience felt snobby, like they were going out of their way to seat us and take our money. Reservation was made with more than 48 hours notice and this point was brought up by the manager who tried to blame us for "last minute" reservations. To top it off, the food was very MID. Definitely not worth the wait. Also, soufflé pancakes take 45 minutes per order to cook- but that's not printed on the menu either. Actual dishes come with less variety than printed on menu (ie mixed berry pancakes is actually only strawberry pancakes). All in all, I was - and am- hopeful that this place could live up to the atmosphere and seemingly family run business. But the management team needs HARD lessons on hospitality. It was definitely not the "fine dining" experience we expected. To be honest, I almost didn't leave a review because I don't want to disparage a local restauranteer - but this feedback is necessary to improve operations.

We had a fantastic time at Savoie. Came with a group of friends and sat on the outdoor patio--it had a beautiful setup with a relaxed, upscale vibe. There was a DJ playing music, which really added to the atmosphere. It felt laid-back, fun, and just a great place to spend time with friends. Happy hour was the real highlight. Great prices and even better quality. The coconut shrimp was outstanding--crispy, flavorful, and probably the first thing to disappear from the table. The calamari was also very good--tender and well-prepared. The drinks were on point. The smoky Manhattan was fantastic, and the cucumber martini was super refreshing. Everything was well-balanced and clearly made with attention to detail. Service was truly exceptional. Our server, Sharde, was warm, attentive, and seemed to anticipate what we needed before we even said anything. She made everything feel seamless and elevated the whole experience. Savoie is definitely a spot worth coming back to--great food, great drinks, great atmosphere, and absolutely outstanding service

Such a cute Italian restaurant. We came here for brunch and had an amazing time. The Savoie Benedict had seafood in it and when I cut through the egg, the yolk melted on the English muffin. The potatoes were crispy and soft on the inside. The fruits were okay. Watermelon was kind of mushy. Staff were friendly and interior is so nicely decorated.

Brunching with friends is the best !!! I had one of the best Sundays in a long time. We started out with some prosecco punch. It was so fruity I swore I was on a tropical island. I usually don't drink as much but the raspberry mimosa was calling my name. Once we ordered I decided to try souffle pancakes. It's rare to find these in SD. Try them they are different then an original pancake. So soft and fluffy. A friend of mine got the chilaquiles i will be getting those next time. They were full of flavor so much sauce I loved them. Steak and eggs looks good as well. Lastly I topped my meal with a banana foster coffee. It was devine!! The service was prompt such nice people. I loved the restraunt itself. The decor is so beautiful makes you feel like your in a fairytale.

The waiter put our replacement order last, and it took 35 minutes to get the second meal. Meanwhile, we had to feed our 2-year-old son because he was extremely hungry. It honestly felt like the waiter, or maybe even the chef, purposely made us a very small pasta portion compared to the usual size. To be fair, the pasta itself wasn't bad. We then asked for another pasta dish (our third order). When we asked the waiter for the ETA, she told us it would take 35 minutes or more. We were shocked -- 35 minutes for a pizza that normally takes 8-9 minutes to make? I worked in professional restaurants for 8 years, and it should not take more than 10-12 minutes, maybe 15 minutes max. At that point, we refused to stay and asked for the check. By the way, the restaurant wasn't even busy. They still charged us for the slice of pizza, and honestly, I don't mind the money. What bothered me was that the pizza was not good, and when we brought up the issue, the waiter didn't seem to care at all about the service or the long wait times.

I guess, this was called a "family combo," but at $25, I just kind of expected I could finish it no problem. Instead, I got a soup, a huge salad, a ton of bread, spaghetti, lasagna, and ravioli. It's definitely not a super classy place. The salad is mostly cheap lettuce, but it does have tomatoes, banana peppers, and whole olives with the seeds. The soup is fine but generic. The marinara base sauce is generic, but the combination is good and the tomato umami is exquisite. The texture of all the pasta is pretty consistent. I was particularly impressed by the size and flavor of the meaty ravioli. They already provided a bunch of bread, but since I ordered this combo, they then provided another large portion of garlic bread. The appetizer bread is soft and warm; I much prefer this to the rock-hard bread at a lot of faux classy American-Italian joints.
