This restaurant has been here for quite a while, but it had been years since I'd eaten here, and I'm glad we decided to come back. The restaurant has a really nice ambiance, both inside and out. I especially love the outdoor seating--the fire pits make it feel so cozy and inviting. Service was on point, and our waiter was very friendly and attentive. Everything we ordered was delicious! The service was fast and friendly, the prices were reasonable, the food was good, and it wasn't too busy. There is outdoor seating, bar seating, and various tables and booths inside. As nice as it looked outside, we chose to eat inside. We were seated at a booth, provided with water and menus right away. It was quiet and peaceful, and allowed us to peacefully look at the brunch menu. We orders the special- chilaquiles, soufflé pancakes, a caramel latte, and a green drink. The food was good and there was plenty for us to share both plates. Our server was attentive and friendly and ensured we had everything we needed. We came here for Mother's Day dinner and overall had a good experience. The restaurant itself is really nice inside and has a great atmosphere. We did have some issues with the service though. We were seated about an hour after our reservation time and even though we requested outdoor seating, we still ended up inside. Since it was Mother's Day, we tried to be understanding because the restaurant was obviously busy. Our waitress was nice enough, but we did notice other tables around us were getting checked on more often. Again, it seemed like she may have been handling larger parties, so we didn't make a big deal out of it. The food honestly saved the night. My Italian wife said the short rib lasagna was easily one of the top 3 lasagnas she's ever had. That says a lot. My wife got the steak frites and while the steak itself was good, the potato chunks were undercooked. The tiramisu was fantastic too. We didn't mention the potatoes to the server because everything else was going smoothly enough. Then I came in the restaurant and confirmed it in person. The staff is amazing. They were so helpful in answering any questions I had from the start. I was able to come in early on the day of the event to set up decorations that I had for the table, The waitress was easy to work with. The food tasted great. I had the special and I loved it. Kind of hard to find if you're not familiar with the shopping center but it is right across from the movie theaters if that helps. There's plenty of parking on that side. Came here for brunch with a group of 7 this past Sunday. We all opted in bottomless mimosas for $25/person if you order an entree. The service and food took kind of long although it wasn't too busy. But once everything came out and we got orders in, everything started flowing. Our waitress was a nice young Asian girl so sorry I didn't get her name but she was helping us our entire time. She kept the bubblies flowing the entire time and was on point we never had to wait to be refilled. The food was okay it's basic American/Mexican breakfast foods that I'm not too big of a fan of so it was just okay to me. Hence the name I'd thought there would've been more Italian foods but maybe because it was brunch so maybe the Italian foods were more so dinner items. Our napkins and silverware that were on the table were dirty, but we were quickly brought clean ones. We enjoyed our brunch items of chilaquiles and soufflé pancakes. Unfortunately, the avocado toast was not the best. It was soggy and the bread felt like it was not toasted. What would have made it a 5 star? Enjoyed brunch and bottomless mimosas here with my family. We ordered the Savoie Benedict, The Special, The Incredible Soufflé Pancakes, and The Machaca. Everything was delicious! The waitress did inform us that the soufflé pancakes do take a little longer to make compared to the other dishes and it was worth the wait. What is this place? Mexican? French? Italian? It's pretty random. Service was friendly but sparse and a bit adversarial. Had a reservation, arrived on time - made to wait 1hr 15 minutes. No drinks or water or hospitality other than- stand here and look like peasants. Got the bill - not even a discount or dessert or a birthday mention (the entire reason we had a large group and made a reservation!!!). The overall experience felt snobby, like they were going out of their way to seat us and take our money. Reservation was made with more than 48 hours notice and this point was brought up by the manager who tried to blame us for "last minute" reservations. To top it off, the food was very MID. Definitely not worth the wait. Also, soufflé pancakes take 45 minutes per order to cook- but that's not printed on the menu either. Actual dishes come with less variety than printed on menu (ie mixed berry pancakes is actually only strawberry pancakes). All in all, I was - and am- hopeful that this place could live up to the atmosphere and seemingly family run business. But the management team needs HARD lessons on hospitality. It was definitely not the "fine dining" experience we expected. Brunching with friends is the best !!! I had one of the best Sundays in a long time. We started out with some prosecco punch. It was so fruity I swore I was on a tropical island. I usually don't drink as much but the raspberry mimosa was calling my name. Once we ordered I decided to try souffle pancakes. It's rare to find these in SD. Try them they are different then an original pancake. So soft and fluffy. A friend of mine got the chilaquiles i will be getting those next time. They were full of flavor so much sauce I loved them. we've been here for dinner before, but had approximately the same sort of experience others on yelp have had (so never really feel the need to leave a review) -- but then came here for their (new?) brunch on saturday, and were very pleasantly surprised! we ordered their souffle pancakes, which were every bit as fluffy and delicious as their menu describes. the french toast sampler, too, was pretty good, but more than that: enormous, and could easily be shared by two people, or maybe even three depending on how hungry you are overall, relative to the other brunch options nearby (or lack thereof), this one is a winner and we're definitely looking forward to coming back to try some different dishes again soon thank you for the great pancakes! looking forward to the next time read more

Honestly we love coming here, it's beautiful and calm on Sunday mornings. They use to have a live dj (idk what happened) but we've been coming with our baby since he was a few month old and now he's a toddler and it was perfect for him. Oh we also were able to bring in our dog and he was polite as well. Just for the 3 of us it comes out to $80 and that's with us getting double drinks as well. My husband and I went to Savoie Italian Eatery - Otay Ranch on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at 5:30 PM to celebrate our 26-year wedding anniversary, and the experience was outright disrespectful. The hostess completely ignored us upon arrival and took more than 20 minutes to even acknowledge our table. There were only two other tables and ours in the entire restaurant. It was not busy! When she finally took our drink order, our appetizer was delivered before the drinks--and the drinks never came. We had to ask the bus boy Fernando to find them, and he brought them directly from the bar, where they had been sitting the entire time. Fernando tried to assist us and the tip that was left is for him directly! The hostess was rude, inattentive, and never once checked on us. She made it clear through her behavior that we were not a priority. She gave noticeable attention to other guests while deliberately neglecting us (black customers), which was unacceptable. This was supposed to be a special occasion, and instead we were treated like we didn't matter. This is now the second time we've experienced poor service at this location, and we will not be going back there. Do not spend your hard-earned money where you are clearly not wanted. read more

I hadn't been here in over 10 years because of our bad experience but friends recently dined at happy hour and highly recommended it. We checked it out and sat out on the patio. Service was excellent and the drinks and food were surprisingly tasty. Prices are really good at happy hour and it's dog friendly on the patio. First off, I must thank Luis for his amazing service. My friends, dog, and I decided to sit outside, and he moved one of the heaters closer to our table and changed out an empty propane thank. We had dinner the day before Thanksgiving, so it was a slightly less busy than it probably is during the rest of the week. We shared Brussel sprouts, and I had a chicken Caesar salad with chicken. The Brussel sports were awesome, but my chicken taste and texture was a bit gamey which I didn''t like. Hence the four stars. If I was to get the salad again next time, I might not get a protein, or I may try the salmon instead. The ambiance is nice at night, and if you go on a cold day, dress warmly. It was in the mid 50's when we went, so we dressed appropriately. The space heater was really nice and kept us warm outside. The only other downside is the music can get grating, and when I asked, I was told that music is usually played on Friday and the weekends. All in all, an enjoyable experience that I'd definitely come back for especially since the Brussel sprouts were really savory. I've had sweet version which I tend to stay away from. read more
