The husband & I have been loving Vica's Cafe so much we had to bring the parentals for breakfast after church. They needed to experience their wonderful food too!! What the hubby & I shared: *Steak & Eggs *Pancakes De Naranja As always the service, music & vibes were top notch. Our steak plate was delicious. The chimichurri sauce they use on the steak was a nice touch. The pancakes were tasty but a little on the dry side. Overall we all had a great time. The parentals were happy we shared this location with them. We can't wait to try some of their other menu items....

All locals should be aware of this little hidden gem. I was visiting from out of town and found this place to surprise my mother for breakfast. We enjoyed our entire experience even though we were busy our server was very attentive throughout our meal. The pink and marble really made the interior of the restaurant pop too. I will keep this place for my next trip to SD.

Came here on a whim because our other breakfast spot was packed - Did a quick search on Yelp & found this spot! It looks like this place is pretty new based on their Yelp business profile. The cafe has a shared private lot with other businesses. The business itself is very aesthetic & PINK! My favorite color. So I was definitely in love when I saw the interior. IG/social media worthy place to take photos. Everything comes out so aesthetically cute. The one thing that stood out to me the most during our entire visit though - was our waitress, HAZEL! Young, bubbly, friendly, professional, & high energy vibes. Which just makes you wanna match her energy. She made us feel comfy the second we walked in. She provided her recommendations & made sure we were taken care of the entire time. We'd visit here again based on her service alone. We ordered the birria omelette with a side of panela, birria chilaquiles, a mazapán coffee, lemonade, & sprite. Everything came out quickly! They had chili oil on our table with salt & pepper. We LOVE our spice. So the chili oil, without needed to ask was chef's kiss. My husband enjoyed his food & finished everything. My birria omelette was delish! The mazapán iced coffee was also great! Definitely a hidden gem! Can't wait to return to try other menu items.

Came back to bring my inlaws. For Sunday breakfast. Arlett and staff. Was amazing and helpful explaining things for my inlaws. We all had a great time. There was another family celebrating a birthday . They are a great place for all occasions. Played music had a sparkler. This is a must try.

Cute find in San Diego! We ordered the Birria Omelette and the Birria Chilaquiles... both were delicious!! The Birria was cooked perfectly! Juicy, tender and very generous! Only thing is the frijoles were a little cold and the papas needed seasoning for flavor... other than that service was friendly, the cafe de olla was piping hot and everything tasted delicious!

I went around lunch time and was seated quickly. They weren't very busy, but the inside of the place is very cute with the pink, black and white decor. I ordered their eggs Benedict dish with a caramel cappuccino. It was really good. Will return when I'm in the area again. Would be great if they added mimosas to their menu.

The place was nice with new pink and grey decor. The food was delicious. I had the Mexican Eggs Benedict. It had a lot of flavor and the sides of potatoes and beans were on point. The service was good with attentive staff. I would definitely come back again!

Such a cute pink girly breakfast spot! The waitresses are very kind and attentive. I had the birriaquiles and it was very filling and had great flavor. I wish there was more drink variety. But I was really pleased with the food and customer service!

Wow. The savory plate I ate I will be BACK for. A creamy chilaquiles with steak added. Omg. Now the Dubai pancakes didn't match the photo I saw and I was looking forward to the small pancakes sadly. But even that they did look good but just didn't really vibe with them. I also got the mazapan coffee, omg so good. I'll be bringing my grandma and friends here asap. The service was good too no complaints there. It was busy when we came. Hats off and a bow to the chef! ‍

We got there early before the crowd hit on a Saturday morning. Service was great, food presentation and taste were awesome. The service was nice, beautiful ladies are the servers. Definitely love the pink vibe and entrance.

Given the minimal patrons, service was excellent. Was here during happy hour and the food was great! Server said birria or fish tacos are best, so I opted for birria. Tacos didn't come with consumé but they were juicy enough without it. Good flavor but tortillas did start to fall apart. Margaritas for $5 are a good deal and tasted fresh. Ambiance is upscale Mexican and I think it hits, at least for happy hour! Guac and salsa prices were too high for my liking ($13 and $10, respectively) especially as a happy hour item, but to each their own. Overall 4.5 stars rounded up to 5 with a $5 marg as the kicker to round up vs down (for guac and salsa prices).

It feels spacious while still remaining intimate, and the service was fast, attentive, and amazing throughout. We came with a large group and ordered almost the entire menu, and absolutely nothing disappointed! My favorites were the aguachile, carnitas, flautitas de atún ahumado, and the quesadillitas de short rib and mole. The sauce on the aguachile was so good it was drinkable (though I do wish it came with something other than raw shrimp). The carnitas were cooked to perfection, slightly crispy and served over an incredible sauce. As for the short rib and mole "quesadillitas," they were more like empanadas in my opinion, but the short rib was amazing. I also really appreciated that most of the menu uses corn tortillas instead of flour! (Great for gf girlies). The cocktails were my favorite part. As a mezcal lover, the elote mezcal old fashioned was hands down one of the best drinks I've ever had. Loved their homemade hot sauce too. All in all, such a great experience!

The Ceviche de Salmon was unique with the tart sauce made of hibiscus and raspberry, but after a few bites it was overwhelming to me. I really enjoyed the Croquetas de Jaiba y Poblano - nicely fried and stuffed with Crab. The Pulpo was also well cooked - not too chewy and nicely seasoned.
