The restaurant itself is very nice, loved the tabletops and design. Very clean. The food was good as well. I have had thai food I liked better, but this was not a bad spot. I had the spicy noodle with fried tofu. Good, but overwhelming with the basil which was a bit disappointing. The tofu spring rolls were very good, we also enjoyed the dipping sauce. The tom yum soup was tasty as well, however there were some large hard chunks of ginger and other inedible items added for flavor that I wish had been removed prior to serving, as they were a bit of a surprise, and not the good kind of surprise. The mango with sticky rice was perfect and delicious. My most favorite thing out of my entire meal was the chrysanthemum tea. They got the 4th star based on the dessert and tea. My mother-in-law came into town and we all decided we wanted thai food. Relatively new to the area, we had not idea where to go. My husband searched for Thai places and this restaurant came up and had pretty good reviews. From the outside, it's very unassuming. Once you walk inside, it's tastefully decorated and very clean. The owner/Chef, Ba, greeted us. She was extremely personable and made us feel welcome as she explained her culinary history and spoke of her native Thailand. Best of all, everything she recommended was amazing! We had the Crispy Thai Rolls and Gold Bags, yellow curry and one other vegetable dish and everything was outstanding. I've been to several Thai places throughout the North San Diego county area, and this is definitely the best place I've been to for dishes made with rice. It isn't very oily, and it tastes amazing! I, for one, am a big fan of their Spicy rice, the Thai rolls or curry beef dumplings as an appetizer, and I've only tried their mango rice as a dessert, and all of it is great! The curry is very good as well, and the Pad Thai is too. Ask for the "available curry" for a real treat! read more

Small portions so if ur planning to share for two maybe just enough but any more then that it's kind of like not enough for anyone to be full. Service was ok and the food took really long to come out probably 20 mins for two small appetizers of four each. Then 25 mins just for the main food well except the moo yang that took another 10-15 mins. read more

Okay so, food is delicious but.. The portions have been reduced and price has increased on lunch items. We're all struggling right now and doing our best to support our local businesses. We came from LA to enjoy our weekend at legoland and decided to grab some food before going to the hotel. My husband went inside to pick up our order and the first question was "are you from grubhub?" My husband said no and didn't apologize for it. I understand you may be used to seeing a lot of grubhub/uber/postmates whatever it is the color of my skin but have some courtesy and ask how may I help you? You never know who your talking to. Came here after work one day and was very impressed! The atmosphere is great and the staff is very friendly. It wasn't busy at all which was a bit weird but the food was very fresh. Started with steamed pot stickers and those were the best I have had. For the meals we had shrimp pad Thai which was very flavorful but wasn't spicy at all but nothing a little hot sauce couldn't fix. Also they use thin rice noodles instead of the flat noodles, not my favorite but overall really liked the flavors. My husband got spicy noodles and was very satisfied. He liked that there was more meat and veggies than noodles. Overall we really liked the food and service and would absolutely be back. read more

The ambiance is beautiful from the outside and when I went in they did not disappoint. The service was wonderful and so is the food. They nailed the spicy fried rice, and I noticed there is a menu on the side for non spicy dishes as well as a cheaper lunch menu. I regularly eat at Thai restaurants all over Southern California. This is one of my favorites. When you ask for spicy they will actually give you spicy. I have been here a couple of times when the service was a little slower than normal, but most of the time I can get in and out of here quickly and with good service. Each came with a green salad, egg roll, and steamed rice. Egg rolls were very mushy inside although they were properly fried. The main courses were mediocre. I went there on a Friday afternoon for lunch. Food: 5/5 Value: 4/5 Service: 3/5 I give this place 4 stars because I understand the struggle. Food was great. Loved the spring rolls (although it wasn't rolled very well and I was only given one for $7). Yellow Curry Lunch was good and there was a lot of tofu which I LOVED. Value was good. The only thing that got me was that I was charged $7 for 1 spring roll that was cut into 4. Service was not doing so well. The server was also the host and the busser and the bartender. He pretty much did everything. He was trying his best but he didn't seem friendly while he was taking orders as well as the fact that I was in the restaurant for an hour and a half, a table for 1 for some lunch. read more

If you like Thai food, I would highly recommend their restaurant. The Tom Kha is full of flavor with a hint of lemon grass. The spring rolls are super fresh with a nice touch of mint leaves. The Tamarind fish has a nice crunchy exterior, but light and flaky inside with a sweet and midly spicy tamarind sauce to go with it. We also had the Pad Se Ew, Green Curry and Eggplant dishes... all were fantastic and uniquely flavored. We finished with the mango and sticky rice... always a nice treat after a full meal. We come to San Diego a few times a year and have a few restaurants that we look forward to when we do. This will now be added to that list and even though I'm still stuffed, I'm already looking forward to coming back in August. read more

I really wanted to like this place. The first time I stopped by I just got the fresh rolls, chicken satay and Thai tea for lunch - all of which were good. The second time I picked up some entrees for dinner with friends. Pad Thai, Pad See-Ew and Spicy Noodle. I really couldn't believe how bad everything was... North County is a very difficult place to find good Thai food so my expectations weren't very high, but this was just awful.... Flavourless and soo oily. We spent a good fifteen minutes adding spices and sauces to our food in an attempt to make it worth eating, but in the end my guy friend who is a human garbage disposal cleared out everything regardless of the bland greasiness, and his girlfriend and I were still hungry. I felt guilty for picking this restaurant and wasting their money... The owner or manager I spoke to when I picked up my order was so sweet and funny I really wanted to like the food.... 3 entrees each tried by 3 different people and no one liked a one... It's VERY hard to find good Thai food in North County, especially having come from Seattle where Thai food is freakin amazing, but I guess the search continues... With a heavy heart I have to say that 3 out of 3 people give 1 star for the food, but I'll also add 1 star for the charming employee who is the only reason I'd ever consider giving this place another chance. At the very least with fresh ingredients they could adjust the recipes or get a new chef and they could potentially turn things around read more

So good! We go here all the time, and they are always willing to mix up the dishes with different noodles. Something hard to find at Thai restaurants. Coming from the Pacific Northwest, we were trying to find a good Thai place, and this is by far the best in North county, and trust me, we went to a LOT. Each dish I've had here has been great!
