    Delicious burger

Bartender was awesome. Super nice and hustling all night. Burger was very good. Went for the $15 dollar beer and burger. Tasted like an upper class Big Mac. Lark street wasn't the best area imo but would come back for special again.

The food here is delicious. Simple and different all at the same time. There isn't anything over the top fancy but it's unique and fun. Going during the week is a nice cozy evening with friends or on a date. The bartenders are knowledgeable and fun. They have a nice amount of beers on tap.

Savoy is such a cute spot on lark street. It's a little pricey, so I think it's a cute spot for a date/hangout with a small group. I tried their butter chicken mac, and street corn fries, and it was delicious! The food came out within a decent time frame. The bartenders are friendly as well!

Vibes were unique. Food was just okay. Drinks were hit and miss. Service was off putting in the beginning with getting seated and waited on. The host/server was new to the team and still learning. Overall okay spot to drink late night.

Service was super nice and understanding. We were gonna dine in but had to leave cause my brother had to go back to his hotel cause he was deploying for basic training. Food was good an ambiance seemed hip and trendy.

What a cool place-- speakeasy vibes. Menu is online only, even when you go so just know that. They have a full bar, specialty cocktails, and seasonal cocktails. Lots of gin options The staff was great too... Our waiter was very nice. Other staff will bring your food/drink to you as well, which I like bc it seems like when it's ready, it goes out & isn't waiting for a specific person to come get it. We got cheese curds (yum!) to start. Then street corn Mac and cheese and a crispy chicken sandwich with fries. Both were fantastic. The Mac was very cheesy and a good portion. The chicken sandwich was perfection-- fries are spot on. I would definitely recommend!!! This is a great place for drinks or dinner. They take reservations (OpenTable) so I would do that before you go to be on the safe side (it's not a very big place)

I've been told the Savoy Taproom was dog friendly, but I've never taken my dog there. Now, we also have a puppy. The Savoy Taproom owner, Jason, told my husband that both dogs were welcome. So we took them to the outdoor patio and ordered dinner along with drinks. Both pooches were well behaved much to my relief. Our waitress brought them some water which made them very happy. My husband was happy with his drinks and his Mexican-style street corn pasta dish. I ordered the chicken Marsala special. It was good. Needed a bit more Marsala and butter to bring out the flavor. I know this because I make it at home. Nevertheless, we had a great time. It was a great meal and the weather was perfect for the whole family to spend time outdoors. Thanks to the Savoy Taproom for a nice evening! Unfortunately, I don't have photos of food to share. I do have photos of my happy pups!

This place is always awesome, with a great atmosphere. Love coming here for burger nights on Tuesdays - the food is fantastic and the deal is unbeatable!

This was a cocktail that was off the menu that Sam created- absolutely amazing!

My friends and I met here for dinner and drinks on a Friday night. We sat at the bar, we were immediately greeted, and service was superb from beginning to end. The ambience gives me speakeasy vibes, dim lighting and great music in the background. If you love amazing fresh unique cocktails then this is your place. The food was just as great. We ordered the street corn french fries- this was beyond delicious and very unique . For entrees we order the steak salad, a classic burger and the short rib with risotto. All three dishes were outstanding and were plenty to share and have leftovers. This place is a gem and Sam and Hailey were the stars for us. They were absolutely amazing! We will definitely be back again. I completely forgot to take pics of the food but here are some of the cocktails we had.

Savoy Taproom lives in my dreams. From my first Whiskey Sour here a few years ago, to the one I indulged on tonight, the consistency of this perfect drink recipe never ceases to surprise me. Usually it's the food that keeps me coming back, but at Savoy, it's the Whiskey Sour. I have to keep bragging about their ever changing cocktail menu and their signature drinks. Tonight I tried the Gin Goblet and I asked for bartenders favorite. As expected, I completely forgot the Gin they chose, but it was served in a glass with pink peppercorns and orange slices, topped with a spritz. Unique drink combinations always make me intrigued, and this was no exception. I am a gin drinker and the peppercorn combo was a revelation. It was perfectly complementary to the flavors in the gin. I also have to mention that their Manhattan and Old Fashion cocktails are to die for. Savoy is the type of place to try cocktails that are out of your comfort zone. Even if you are iffy about whiskey, their whiskey cocktails will blow you away, and change your mind forever. I give them all the credit for expanding my liquor palate. Savoy is a craft cocktail bar, and they absolutely know what they are doing. Also have to give it up to the amazing owner Jason for keeping Savoy amazing and supporting the community during hard times, all while working to open his new venture The Copper Crow, which I can't wait to check out! As I exhaust myself describing the cocktails, the food is also great, fresh and a perfect balance of modern and pub grub. Tonight we snacked on the Garlic Parm Fries - a favorite of ours. They are irresistibly delicious. We just grabbed a couple drinks and a snack tonight, but I've had about half the menu and it's all great. Savoy is always a good time, great ambiance on the back patio or in the newly remodeled dining room, unbelievable cocktails, and great eats. Do not miss this recommendation. I promise, they will surprise you too.

Yum! I've been wanting to try Savoy and it did not disappoint. The drinks were so good and they had a great selection for cocktails. The food was very flavorful and delicious. I wish they would provide paper menus or at least a QR code, but overall a great spot.

Potato leak soup and beet Hummus, both great!
    Lisette R.

Beautiful atmosphere blends historic architecture with modern touches for a laid back but elegant look. Attentive staff. A friend and I were traveling through and found this place on Yelp. The food we ordered was great; the potato leak soup was delightful! The rosemary oil and croutons were the perfect accents, great size for an appetizer/small starter. We then shared the beet hummus, which had amazing flavor and color. The buttered baguette that came with it was very tasty and the cruditéa nice fresh touch. We each had a glass of wine to round off our light meal, perfect. We will return if in town again.

I love this place. The lighting and everything about the environment created feels like a speakeasy.. it has an exclusive feel. Very well done in that regard! The service is excellent, the staff makes you feel as though you have know them for some time and they seem to care for the patrons. The experience feels very personal with the staff, excellent. The food and the drinks are exceptional, the short rib risotto left me speechless. The drinks are great and I honestly can't wait to return. A+

First, your Brunch menu and food are excellent, when we finally got our food - after roughly an hour of waiting - I was instantly reminded of why Dove and Deer is great - bold flavors, excellent preparation, gorgeous plates all in a city that desperately needs it. Second, I really felt bad for the 3 people responsible for running an entire restaurant on a Sunday (two waiters and one person in the kitchen). They did their absolute best, were so kind and apologetic, but obviously completely stressed out and frazzled. Tables got up and left after waiting for someone to get back to them - and we almost did too. It's unfair to restaurant staff to put the burden of running an entire place on them. I get if someone called off and you're short staffed 1 or 2 people, but did everyone call off? Besides 3 people? Come on. You have a real opportunity to be a go to brunch destination, my advice is to staff appropriately and give it a real go or risk customers not getting to experience the greatness that is your food - and taking their dollars to someplace far more mediocre. The only reason this isn't a 2 star or 1 star review is because of how hard your staff tried, and how good your food is (when it finally shows up).

The bar tender, Noah, was impressive and friendly in that he knew his liquor stock very well, and could explain the flavor intricacies of the various types of bourbon, vodka, and gins. They also offer some non,-alcoholic beverages for the "designated driver" of the group too. We watched Noah make everything from regular and "dirty martinis" with fresh ingredients, as well as one drink where he used a butane lighter and some tiny cedar chips in a straining tool above the drink to give it a fresh, authentic smoky look and flavor. Noah knows his stuff!!!!! The patrons were friendly, diverse, and easy to socialize with if you chose to do so. The establishment is pet friendly for "socialized pets" with a water bowl outside the establishment and some free Milkbone treats inside. Keep in mind that this establishment is a "tasting room" with the majority of products from the New Scotland Distillery, but there are other options. Just don't expect to get a Bud Light Draft or food here. The only downside is that parking in the Lark Steet and State Street location is difficult to obtain without some effort, but we managed to park our vehicles 2 blocks away. This is not a direct criticism of the establishment because the experience is well worth this minor potential inconvenience. We would definitely go back there again, especially for the specialty drinks or the flights and half flights of their bourbon and vodka products. Thank you once again, Noah, for a pleasant and educational evening!!!

My friend wasn't done telling her the specifics about her order when she turned to me and asked me for mine. I had to redirect her back to my friend so she could finish taking her order. The food was okay-ish. The noodles I got were hard to chew and the grilled chicken add on ($8 extra btw) was hard and grilled too crispy. We paid our bill in full and left no tip because the service left something to be desired and the attitude of the servers were more focused on other people. As soon as we go downstairs...another patron comes downstairs with OUR bill (that had our signatures on it bc it was a split bill) to harass us about not tipping the waitress. She mentioned that she used to work there and that she was given the bill and followed us downstairs. We were ordering our ride and she sat downstairs to wait for us to leave and said she wasn't leaving until we got our ride. We begin to go back and forth so that she can leave us alone, when one of my friends goes upstairs to find a manager (who wasn't there). A couple of minutes later, one of the bartenders comes downstairs (She has blonde ends and lip filler) and instead of trying to apologize for her friend's rude behavior just looks at her and says "It's fine" and tries to get her to go back upstairs. No apology was given nor did she try to make us feel like she was sorry it happened. I don't know what kind of establishment gives the bill of customers to other patrons, but I did not appreciate being harassed for something that wasn't her business in the first place. Overall, the lack of remorse and apologies has left a bad taste in my mouth and I will not be returning.

The building itself is impressive, although maybe not quite as impressive as the castle-looking building next door. Our party of seven settled in at the bar as there otherwise did not seem to be a large enough table for all of us to gather around in either the main lounge area or a small room off to the side. The dark wood paneled walls, large fireplace, assortment of easy chairs, couches, and high desktop table gave off a feeling of warmth and welcoming. The friendly bartender introduced herself (sorry I've forgotten her name) and informed us that spirit-wise, the bar was capable of preparing the standard, traditional drinks like Manhattans, martinis, etc. All beers were poured from cans, and at my request, she recited the names of about six that were available. I don't believe anyone in our party inquired about the wines that were available. The building simply calls out for an explanation of its history. Upon our request, the bartender offered to provide either the "brief" or "full" option. We requested the full history. She was obviously well up to the task. You would be amazed at the variety of things you could learn here. Just to touch on a few key topics that were mentioned, consider Alexander Hamilton's wife, puffed rice, Bab-o cleanser (cue up the jingle), Bishop Gibbons, and an orthopedic surgeon. I don't know what the normal food arrangements are in the Lounge. I'm guessing that our out-of-town hosts requested some snacks for us as a few bowls appeared with mixed nuts, crackers and cheese, fresh grapes, humus, and warm pretzel/croissant rolls, and a plate of prosciutto wrapped cream cheese. Overall, the atmosphere here is simply friendly and inviting. I think it will become an occasional gathering place for our local friends when looking for a place that is quiet and relaxing.

Last time I had ravioli, so I thought there'd be at least one pasta or sandwich option on the menu. I took a look at their lunch menu - tons of variety. I wish they offered some of those options at dinner time. I ended up going with the burrata salad, it was good, but not really a full dinner meal. The food itself is well prepared and nicely presented. The place is looking pretty shabby, usually I really don't care about "aesthetics" and am all for some well loved furniture but the chairs were so worn out that it detracts from the classy vibe they seem to be trying to give off. Started to feel not well and literally had to take our food to go, the waitress was soo concerned and caring, it was great, and it was no fault of the food or theirs, I think it was just whatever cold I was coming down with that kicked my ass and I felt like I was going to pass out, sorry TMI... But the response was so nice and accommodating from the staff. Def worth a try, just be patient with parking, it was slightly chaotic, or that night we just happened to encounter all the people in the are who couldnt drive in tight spaces, LOL!

We had a reservation Saturday evening before visiting the Egg. The host was super duper friendly…read moreand he immediatelly brought us to a small two top in the back dining area. The wine by the glass list was limited and fifty percent was vegan. I ordered the Mosen German Reisling which is more sweet than I prefer but there were no other options. My guy ordered a brown beer on tap, i'm unsure the name. We started with appetizers crab rangoon dip with crispy delicious wonton chips. And the second mozzarella eggrolls. I would pass on the eggrolls im the future. The motz is advertised smoked but lacked a smoky flavor. The Harissa had the spice level simular to Heinz ketchup. My entree was a Cuban sandwich that did deliver some heat, well pressed with plenty of pickles. We would love to see a wider wine selection and a turn up on the spice and flavor for the appetizers.
