They have 2 separate rooms both with great moody and fun ambiance that are more tailored to dining or just drinks. As a group of 6, we were easily sat for dinner. Our server was super nice and attentive and everything came out timely. The food was awesome! The Mississippi fried chicken sandwich was deliciously done! Our group also enjoyed the fried pickles, crispy chicken wrap, and grilled chicken sandwich. The portions were perfect. They also have great cocktails, the seasonal mule was amazing! Excellent vegan options, amazing service, a classy but casual atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with a nice selection of draft beers, craft cocktails, and some epic sandwiches and burgers Savoy Taproom has something for everyone. Yes, you can make reservations which is what we did to ensure we would have a table on Friday night. It wasn't necessary but with a larger crowd it is a must if you are expecting to get seated otherwise you may just have to rely on luck. We had a variety of eaters in our group but Savoy was able to accommodate all. Appetizers. Soups, salads, burgers, and even hotdogs most menu items can be customized to be made vegan. This often means omitting the cheese. And here is where I think this should have been a five star experience but they lost me on this... burgers can substitute a Beyond patty for an additional $3, infact, the only burger on the menu made entirely vegan is the "Far Beyond Lark" with fries which was price at $24. Literally the most expensive burger on the menu. It's 2026, the cost of Beyond or Impossible meat is almost the same as beef. Why are vegans still being penalized to pay a higher price when dining out? If anything make the vegan burger the same price as the others and add a $1 substitution fee to make any of the others vegan with vegan cheese, Beyond burger patty, and vegan mayonnaise. Just a thought. All the burgers come on a lovely toasted brioche bun but because it contains egg, the vegan substitute is a sad gluten free bun of dispare and remorse. The cauliflower wings were delicious, I got Nashville Hot but something in them almost gave me Indian food vibes like a curry of some kind? The fries are the absolute best, I love a basket of good hand cut French fries. The guys at the table who ordered their burgers enjoyed them, although they needed extra napkins but that's not always a bad thing. Overall, great experience! I would love to go back. I hope to see in the future a menu change to be more inclusive of customers on a plant-based diet considering their health and not how deep their pockets are. read more

Now... the back seating situation We were seated in the back, which was promptly "cleaned" at 11:00 PM on the dot. Lights on. Vibes off. It felt less like closing time and more like a gentle-but-firm "you don't have to go home, but you can't stay here." Meanwhile, the bar area up front was packed and vibey, so shutting down the back while we were the only ones there was... a choice. Shoutout to the music though -- solid playlist, good energy. Side note: the hostess up front had some... interesting energy. Not bad, just a little confused. When we moved a table to make space she said, we cant do that. It was -15 outside and no one was there---- Overall: great food, great server, fun bar vibe -- just be prepared for a dramatic lighting change if you're in the back late. I've been told the Savoy Taproom was dog friendly, but I've never taken my dog there. Now, we also have a puppy. The Savoy Taproom owner, Jason, told my husband that both dogs were welcome. So we took them to the outdoor patio and ordered dinner along with drinks. Both pooches were well behaved much to my relief. Our waitress brought them some water which made them very happy. My husband was happy with his drinks and his Mexican-style street corn pasta dish. I ordered the chicken Marsala special. It was good. Needed a bit more Marsala and butter to bring out the flavor. I know this because I make it at home. Nevertheless, we had a great time. It was a great meal and the weather was perfect for the whole family to spend time outdoors. Savoy Taproom lives in my dreams. From my first Whiskey Sour here a few years ago, to the one I indulged on tonight, the consistency of this perfect drink recipe never ceases to surprise me. Usually it's the food that keeps me coming back, but at Savoy, it's the Whiskey Sour. I have to keep bragging about their ever changing cocktail menu and their signature drinks. Tonight I tried the Gin Goblet and I asked for bartenders favorite. As expected, I completely forgot the Gin they chose, but it was served in a glass with pink peppercorns and orange slices, topped with a spritz. Unique drink combinations always make me intrigued, and this was no exception. I am a gin drinker and the peppercorn combo was a revelation. It was perfectly complementary to the flavors in the gin. I also have to mention that their Manhattan and Old Fashion cocktails are to die for. Savoy is the type of place to try cocktails that are out of your comfort zone. Even if you are iffy about whiskey, their whiskey cocktails will blow you away, and change your mind forever. I give them all the credit for expanding my liquor palate. Savoy is a craft cocktail bar, and they absolutely know what they are doing. Also have to give it up to the amazing owner Jason for keeping Savoy amazing and supporting the community during hard times, all while working to open his new venture The Copper Crow, which I can't wait to check out! As I exhaust myself describing the cocktails, the food is also great, fresh and a perfect balance of modern and pub grub. Tonight we snacked on the Garlic Parm Fries - a favorite of ours. They are irresistibly delicious. We just grabbed a couple drinks and a snack tonight, but I've had about half the menu and it's all great. Savoy is always a good time, great ambiance on the back patio or in the newly remodeled dining room, unbelievable cocktails, and great eats. Do not miss this recommendation.
