As I wait for my massage I am given a form to circle areas I want the masseuse to concentrate on and/ or avoid. Worst massage I have ever had. Even though I wanted a medium pressure She was hard on me and crushed me. I felt more tense than relaxed.

I finally redeemed my birthday gift certificate for a 90 minute Thai Massage, the place is really gorgeous, it is an oasis in the middle of Silicon Valley. The therapist greets you and takes you to a private area (see photos) you are given a loose cotton tank top and loose pants. It is a very different experience than a typical Swedish massage but it was thoroughly relaxing and the therapist was very tuned in to whether she was exerting enough/too much pressure. The Thai massage also includes stretching which is very different, but overall would definitely go again. After the massage they offer you tea served in an insulated stainless steel cup, a very nice touch. read more

I needed a massage desperately and ASAP. I called all the usual suspects but couldn't get an immediate appointment. Sawadee was able to see me immediately. I've never had a Thai massage but have heard great things so decided to try it. The interior was clean and shockingly nice!!! The therapist Anna was AMAZING!!! I've been to many overpriced spas for massages, and she is among the top. She was pleasant, nice and knew all the trigger spots and dug in deep. I don't believe in instant cures... but my sore neck/shoulder blade was no longer bothering me afterward. I will be back very soon!!! I come for my brothers baseball tournaments constantly and it can be a real pain, slouching in the stands for hours on end, and so what a better way to spend those breaks than relieve that pain with a massage. Preferably, a Thai Massage. Sawadee's great location takes less than 5 minutes from the field which makes it easy if the game goes overtime. Having a pick-me-up after is WONDERFUL. Especially me being a sibling who can't leave the game whenever I feel it's too painstaking. The personalization cards help select how much pressure, which parts of you body you need more help with, and the parts you don't. Bee Bee was great. I requested for deep tissue Thai Aromatic massage and it was wonderful. I have been in pain from traveling too much. The place was very nice and clean. The only complaint is that the bathroom is too close to the massage room. I got distracted with noises from door closing and running water in the bathroom sink. And then the microwave too. The only different between the La Belle or Watercourse Way and this place is the vicinity of the massage rooms to the bathroom. I am good with this place. The massage was good but not great. I had 1.5 hour massage $110+tip. She was working on my back for more than 1 hour and just 20 minutes on front. I had Thai massage many times in Thailand and it was way more better. In Thailand she usually start from your front body for almost 45 minutes and then work on your back, with lots of stretches. I will go back to try another masseuse next time. read more

I just had a Thai therapeutic massage with Sarah. It was the BEST massage I ever had in my life and I get massages relatively often. Sarah was very detailed and she loosened up all the knots in my back and arms. Don't be mistaken, the massage itself was pretty painful. Today was the first time I had to ask a masseuse to decrease the pressure which she did. She was very attentive and asked me if the pressure was ok whenever she did a new technique. My body was cracking left and right and it felt amazing. I think I have converted now to only Thai massages. Also, the receptionist (owner?) in the front was so kind and helpful. I've had lots of massages, and last week I was in need of a serious massage to relieve my lower back pain. I called Sawadee, made an appointment for a 90 minute Thai therapeutic massage, and arrived 15 minutes early. The business is clean, has a warm and inviting vibe, and the staff was welcoming. I received the best massage of my life... hands down... the best. I didn't feel great after, but I felt better. I was so excited that I purchased a package. Fast forward to massage #2... It was awful. The practitioner (a woman whose name starts with a "P") was terrible. Her technique was off and unfocused. She was clueless as to where and how she was applying pressure. She also spent 15-20 minutes standing on my hamstrings. It was weird, and nothing like the massage I received the previous week. The only question the front-desk manager has when customer walks out is 'have you given the tip', and nothing about how the service was.. I got in on the same day and it was a great call on my end as it was a great experience. Jatica, for a petite woman, is strong and really knows the nuances of Thai massage. Like others have listed, if you say "strong" be ready for a very intense session. As I had numerous tight muscles, predominately in my IT bands, this was rough at points but I'm used to deep tissue. That being said, that was my choice and Jatica was always asking if the pressure was okay. I never eased off as I really needed the work. As for the ambiance, I was surprised how nice the individual open rooms were. The step up into the room might be a little tricky for the elderly or clumsy people (I could fall under that category) but it was a small issue. Well done Sawadee and Jatica! Since I discovered it, I will only get Thai massage. And now I will only go to Sawadee. The atmosphere is very professional and relaxing, and Dang is the most amazing therapist. I'm an amateur athlete and I always need bodywork, but just by feel she knows where I'm tight or sore, how much pressure to apply, and what stretches I need. She has a soft touch or firm walk-on-you technique for digging deep, depending on what you need. I have been going to her for over a year, and I've never been disappointed.
