Really great Thai place in NW neighborhood. My spicy basil dish had the most delicious bamboo shoots onions and mushrooms. Nice little patio for good weather days and friendly service. Been here many times and have never been disappointed. A+!

Have this restaurant another try and everything was very good! We tried the Pad See Ew and Yellow Curry, both delicious!

The food here is fantastic and always super fast even when there's a line standing out on the sidewalk. I always end up getting the pad thai with pork at medium spicy, but that's just on the edge of being too spicy for me so I order a cup of peanut sauce on the side to tame it down a bit. The portion sizes are large enough that they could be cut in half for a single meal; that said, pricing is on par for this neighborhood, about $10-$13 per meal. One time I grabbed my order and immediately dropped my cup of peanut sauce on the group. The guy at the counter was nice enough to hand me another free of charge - very much appreciated!

Great food! This restaurant is killing it with taste! Great service. Restaurant could use some freshened up ambiance. Otherwise great!

My husband and I found this place on accident because we were originally trying to eat at Pettygrove Station but they were closed. There was no line at Sawasdee so we thought why not. I ordered my go to Pad Thai and my husband ordered the pineapple fried rice. The lady was super sweet and she finished our order in about 5 minutes which was both perfect and amazing because we were famished. We enjoyed our dishes so much - I have to say this was one of the best Pad Thais I've ever had! We'll definitely be back.

This meal was one of the best Thai meals that I've ever eaten. The lovely lady who cooked for us for kind and provided wonderful service. We ate outside on the patio in the crisp weather, creating a beautiful atmosphere. The sticky rice was delicious, the noodles were tasty, and the tea was sweet. I highly recommend!!

Awful ambiance. Flavorless food. Sloppy at counter menu. PDX has great Thai restaurants. This is not one of them

10:30 am and you have the flu and need spicy red curry?? This is the best! And only $8 for a generous serving of red curry.

I ordered the Penang curry, and it was great. It had a very nice curry flavor that wasn't too spicy and had a nice sweetness to it.

There is plenty of seating there and It looked like there was a space for live music and string lights - probably a fun spot to grab dinner in the evening. We came for lunch and ordered the chao mian with chicken (spicy) and bian bian noodles (spicy). The noodles are cooked to order and we were served quickly. The serving sizes are huge. Neither one of us could finish ours. We'll likely order one dish to split next time, and that'd still probably be more than enough. The flavor of the chao mian was a bit lackluster. It was savory with a soy sauce flavor base, but got a bit repetitive with each bite. It was decently spicy and texture was there with the veggies, but I wish there was a way to customize with more spice or vinegar to taste. The bian bian noodles were more flavorful and also spicier. Fun noodle texture. There are also other vendors in the garden so you can pair a dessert, drink, or side with your meal while staying in the same area. Overall, a filling meal for a good price! Would come again to try their beef noodle soup.

I went with their recommendation and ordered the No. 1 Chicken Shawarma Wrap, and it was fantastic. The shawarma itself was juicy and packed with flavor, and it balanced really nicely against the fresh vegetables and the tanginess from the pickles. The fluffy garlic sauce inside is airy, garlicky, and almost feels whipped, but the pro move is definitely to ask for extra along with some of their house made hot sauce on the side. Everything is wrapped and griddled to toasty perfection, making it an ideal compact grab-and-go lunch, or a great meal to enjoy more leisurely at one of the shaded picnic tables. One thing to note is that the orders do take a bit of time, so it is not the best option if you are in a rush. That said, it is absolutely worth it if you have a little time and patience, so just grab a brew, relax, and enjoy the weather while you wait.

Although it is still new and not all the spaces are filled yet, it seems like it will be a great place to dine there on nice weather days. I had already tried their bingsu food cart. This time I tried the Shawarma House. There are about 3 food carts that serve similar or the same food. I had the triple meat plate. It consisted of lamb, chicken and beef. It came with pita bread and hummus and tzatziki sauce. The sauce that drizzled on top was good but I couldn't quite tell what it was. The lamb meat was by far the best. The chicken and beef was okayed. Hummus and tzatziki serving was large. I wish I had more pita bread so I didn't have to waste the dipping. There was a good amount of rice under the meat. The plate was good overall but there was not enough sauce drizzled on the top. As a result, everything seemed dry.
