Purchased mulch for delivery Was told we would be 1st stop in Monday, between 8-9. Purchased mulch natural Chips- was told that gets proceeded twice, so they would be bigger chips. Arrived very late after calling several times 10:50. Dumped the 10 yards on my drive as I directed- but the Mulch was CRAP! Big logs, Pine needles, & branched- totally NOT as represented by Adam! We used them last year to remove 3 trees. His crew only removed 2 of the 3 because they said it wasn't on their work order. Fast forward a few months, they invoiced me for 3 trees. Not sure why it took so long for them to invoice, but the fact that they wanted to invoice me for work that was not performed was not cool. Never the less the work that they had done was good, so I wanted them to come back and remove the 3rd tree. It's been over a week, Ray has not returned any of my emails. We will be looking elsewhere. I am an ISA Certified Arborist and I live in WI. My father hired Sawvell to prune a tree that was heading towards the neighbors house. When the owner came out to look at the tree my father mentioned that his son was an arborist and his reply was, "No offense, but I've seen some of the hacks out there that call themselves arborists.". A.) rude and horrible 'bedside' manor. B.) Back it up.... I had to come out and re-prune the tree because his "expert" workers hacked up the tree. They attempted reduction cuts that led to absolutely no laterals and the ones that did were not nearly large enough to sustain the limb they left. They essentially topped the tree and called it good. How dare you Ray. Don't insult a conscientious arborist that truly takes his job to heart, which is the CARE OF TREES, then come in and leave a mess for a true professional to clean up. read more

This company was sub contracted to crane a large tree from my yard, and haul the logs away. The crane work was done very well. The truck came to remove the logs, and while putting them on the truck, one very large log dropped and went through the sidewalk creating a very large hole. I made numerous calls to have the walk way repaired and I never got a return call back, no one ever answered the phone. I was not home when the incident happened. I caught the incident on my surveillance cameras, the driver looked at the hole before leaving. He clearly seen the damage. They do a great job at what they do, but fail to take care of their accidents. You break it you fix it. Simple right. well not with this company. read more
