    Iced Amethyst Matcha ???
    Ariadna S.

My company ordered lunch form this place for a pick up. I had Salmon Benedict. The description on Toast app was absent so I had no idea it was served on a hashbrown until I go it. Which I wouldn't order if I knew. The sauce tasted a little weird, left a strong aftertaste. I was a bit concerned so i didn't finish my food. I stated feeling a tad queasy a couple hours after. My drink was not what I ordered - Amethyst Matcha on Oat. It looks and tastes like espresso and on regular milk. I cannot this amount of milk. :/ aaaaand they give you paper straws with drinks, which is a big no-no for me, there are plenty of eco-friendly options on the market these days to not let your customers drink from a soggy paper straw (had to reuse one from my previous drinks).

I kept seeing Sawyer & Co on social media so when in Austin we decided to try it for breakfast. A lot of people mention long wait times but we must have gone at a good hour because we got seated right away even though it was Formula One weekend. On our way out we did see a line forming so I guess we got lucky. The food was good, nothing that really blew me away, just classic diner food which makes sense because it is a diner. What I will say is the service was great. Our waitress was really nice and the staff kept checking on us to make sure everything was good which I appreciated. Overall it was a fine experience and I understand why people enjoy it, especially if you arrive at the right time.

Came to Sawyer & Co for brunch this morning with my hubby and first of all, felt like I was being transported back in time with the decor. Very retro diner vibes with hints of modern day designs. Super cute. For the meal - they had a daily special running for blueberry lavender matchas and blueberry lavender lattes so I ended up snagging the matcha and it was very very good (I opted for iced). I ordered the Lost Bread (aka French toast) with a side of bacon and my husband ordered the breakfast biscuit with the strawberry compote that accompanies the pancakes. Super obsessed with the approach of the French bread because it was actually made with....French bread. (As opposed to regular toast) I got a bite of my husband's breakfast biscuit and the biscuit was perfection. We're looking forward to coming back for lunch!

Waffle was stunning, crispy great texture, fresh fruit and cream what more could you want. ALSO GUYS i was truly so blown away that the table syrup they served it with was REAL MAPLE SYRUP, i of course noticed immediately and was flabbergasted, this is such an impressive nice touch i never have been to a restaraunt that does this??? Huge huge props i was overjoyed. Gaston breakfast scramble was so good, great flavor and portion, amazing with sourdough and yummy (but under-seasoned) potatoes. Very tasty pie too. Service was great and the people are so nice! Easy 5 star review, highly recommend I love sawyer & co!!

How are you going to be a breakfast place, serving "coffee on the go daily....espresso, cappuccino, latte" but not open until 9am? What is that? People need coffee and breakfast in the morning, you know when real people wake up, 6/7 am. Imagine being the owner of this place. "I'm gonna open up a breakfast place that opens at 9am." Yikes. Completely devastating.

Randomly went here for happy hour and enjoyed everything! We went on National Tequila Day because they had advertised specials, however the staff didn't know about it. We ended up getting discounted happy hour cocktails that did not have tequila in them. Both drinks we ordered were delicious! This cute little diner had great cocktails. We ordered a burger with fries and some type of roasted veggie grits bowl. Everything was delicious and prices were so reasonable. We will definitely be back for breakfast or brunch soon. We came on scooters so I'm not sure if there is parking, but it's located right next to De Nada tacos.

This place is super cute. Plenty of seating. And they serve alcohol SUPER EARLY. Came in on a Friday morning around 10am and We didn't have a wait. The food takes a while to come out. Service was great, everyone was attentive. I got the chicken biscuit, the biscuit was delicioussssss my friend got the two egg breakfast with a side of pancakes, and two coffees for $32 (with tip)

1145 on Sunday is the absolute worst time to go to Sawyer & Co for brunch. So we went. At least my friend had made a reservation, but we still had to wait a little while among the hungry hordes. Our server was genial but frazzled. He seemed puzzled when my friend asked her eggs be "soft-scrambled." Or, more likely, unsure of how to enter that on his order-taking device. The eggs arrived well done and she rolled her eyes, pushing them aside. She just shrugs it off because she's a better person than I am, and never ever sends food back. She said everything else was good. I ordered the simplest 2-egg breakfast, and it was delicious. The over-easy eggs golden-yoked and runny, the biscuit a fluffy delight, the Brabant potatoes heavenly creamy, and the bacon perfect. The former site of Arkies has been redone in cool funky retro. Even the Washroom is charming. One of these days. I gotta get back for a nice peaceful lunch.

ok I've gone a few times now and feel confident in this review. The service is always impeccable, and the food is wonderful. I would honestly give this a 3.5/5 -- the drinks are "meh" and a little over priced, and some of the food portions are small for the price. Otherwise, the place is always clean, the people are always kind and the food is always cooked well.

We came here for my friend's bachelorette brunch. They had plenty of seating available both indoor and outdoor so no problem sitting a large group. Our server was amazing and offered great suggestions. I went with the Chicken and Pancakes and it was delicious. I loved the vanilla butter that comes on top really added to the dish. I also got the Hugo spritz which was made perfectly. I will definitely be back as I enjoyed everything we had!!

I love trying out new places and can't believe I haven't been here before. But glad we got to grab a quick brunch lunch. It's a cute little place. Kinda dark where we sat but it was comfty in the booth. The waitress was so nice and helpful. Not sure what I wanted but I was craving fries and saw Friday special was tempura chicken and that sounded good. Bad for you but good lol it's Friday! My friend heard their shrimp and grits was good so she got that. We had our lunch meeting and out came our food really quick and fresh. My goodness the fries. I loved my fries. One of the best I've had. Crispy on the outside and soft inside and very hot. Almost burned my mouth but they were seasoned so well and so good. I was full lol The tempura chicken sad to say was very greasy. Wanted to like it. Couple bites was good but no way can you eat all 4/5 fingers. Too oily. But I had to take it home to share because it wasn't bad just so rich and greasy. The fries already filled me up so I was content. And very full lol Her grits and shrimp she said was good. Ok. But $19 felt like a lot and mine was $15 only because it was a weekly special. So prices are kinda high but probably not for these days. Mine was good being it was a special. All in all enjoyed our lunch. Loved the atmosphere too. Easy parking in downtown easy Austin as well. Did not my fries and the dipping sauces my dishes came with. Would love to see how their other dishes are. Let me see your reviews as well :)

We made reservations for a Saturday brunch. Super cute retro diner vibes with a nice outdoor area. Started off with some deviled eggs, which were pretty good. If you're looking for a healthier option, I really enjoyed the roasted root vegetables with eggs. The biscuit is yummy too . For something more indulgent, the fried chicken with pancakes was delicious ! Not a fan of their coffee - very bitter and impossible to drink without lots of cream and sugar . But their espresso martinis looked delicious ( didn't try one though ) Overall, a good experience and worth checking out :)

We chose half sweetness so it didn't feel drenched in maple syrup, which made it way more enjoyable for me. The cinnamon notes and subtle spice undertone came through nicely. Not exactly my go-to since I gravitate toward floral or fruit-forward drinks, but definitely fun to try at least once. Honey Lavender - LOVED this one. Everyone agreed it was very lavender, which only made me love it more. I chose whole milk and was surprised by how smooth and creamy it tasted. My only tiny complaint is that I didn't get much coffee flavor coming through, but if you're here for the lavender, this absolutely delivers. Coconut Macadamia Latte - this hit the spot. Perfectly coconut-y with just enough macadamia peeking through. I'll admit I have a sharp tongue for coconut flavors (hello, Thai curry), so this one immediately stood out to me. The sweetness level felt just right, and honestly, I'd pick this over Starbucks any day. Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin - one of the best things I ate in Austin. The texture deserves praise because it somehow managed to be firm without being dry, which I usually think goes hand in hand. Not here. It was moist, flavorful, and absolutely delicious while somehow also not being overly sweet. The cream cheese and pumpkin flavors came through beautifully without feeling sugary or heavy. If you stop by, this is a must-order. But honestly, the best part of this whole place? The service, the people, the atmosphere (especially the atmosphere!), and the flavors. There's something about the space that just makes you want to stay awhile. Also... did you know you can touch the bear's butt?!? Highly recommend. It weirdly felt like a mandatory part of the experience.

Delicious saltiness and cinnamon! I really enjoyed this. I tried the honey lavender latte which they said was the least sweet of their fort favorites. The lavender flavor was very forward and there was a hint of sweetness on the back of the tongue, so very accurate. I didn't get as much coffee flavor here so maybe double espresso if that's important to you. Friends also tried the seasonal coconut macadamia latte (they said it was nice, like a sweet nutty flavor). Really solid coffee spot with great vibes, I'd come back.

Maaribu's café is fully gluten-free, featuring quality pastries like scones, muffins, cookies, brownies, and egg bites, as well as wellness drinks and coffee. Outdoor seating makes it a perfect spot to enjoy coffee and pastries on a pleasant Austin morning. Wow...Maaribu!!!
